I found Danny on Offer up and messaged him what I was looking to get done with my sons 06 Audi A4 Quattro. I explained to him that it was a father and son project to get the rotors and break pads replaced. I watched a video on YouTube on how to remove the rear rotor which showed I would need to use a floor jack to raise the rear and remove the shocks, struts etc. I removed only the driver side rear caliper and started working on the front passenger and driver side because, I needed the floor jacks that was holding up the front end of the vehicle. My son and I then tried putting the wheels back on and it was hitting the brake calipers. I thought to myself ok maybe because the brake pads were new n the caliper need to be compressed. I had my son push on the brakes a couple of times and then I realized I forgot to reinstall the 1 rear caliper!!!! I immediately went to check the rear caliper and noticed there was brake fluid spilling out of it. I called around local mechanics and they said for sure it was a blown seal. I then was at my wits end and said to my son let's put everything back together and we'll Jst bring it in. We put everything together and again I thought ok well we Jst put everything back but, I don't see any spillage of brake fluid on the rear caliper. So, I decided to bleed the system twice but no luck. So, the following morning I went to the offer up app. and found only one mobile mechanic local and I can't explain how fast his response was to my message. He called me and I explained to him everything that I did and he said these words to me "I don't want to charge you for something you can do yourself especially when you've gone that far" So he asked what the vehicles issue was n he advised me that the caliper is not the problem it was that there is still air in the system. He then gave me his method of bleeding the system and if didn't work call him back. Overall I Jst believe this guy is honest and can be trusted without trying to rob us which is a big plus in my book. It's that saying " Honesty is the best Policy".!!! I didn't get him to do any work for me yet but, I definitely will call him when I need anything done to my vehicles. Thanks again Danny read more

Danny is not only a great mechanic, he is also very professional and honest. I primarily needed an oil change and basic service but I was also having a problem with a warning beep since I installed a new battery. I had to replace the battery ASAP so I went to a local mechanic. They replaced the battery and claimed the warning beep was fixed but when I got home, same problem. I always took my car to the dealership for repairs but they are closing so, I started searching for a new mechanic. I wasn't looking for a mobile mechanic but during my search, I came across Ratchets N Wrenches on Yelp. They have great reviews so I thought I'd at least call and get a feeling of their customer service. Danny returned my call quickly and after speaking with him, I felt very comfortable in giving him a try and I'm so glad I did! Not only did Danny diagnose and fix the beep immediately, after completing the service (oil change, etc.) he checked everything including removing all 4 tires to inspect the brakes. Although my brakes pads are getting somewhat worn, Danny said because I do not drive my car that often, that I could safely go another 6 months to a year. Had an incident with my vehicle, a 2007 Mazda 3. I was out running company errands when my car started heating up on my way to the postal office. I found this mechanic from Yelp based on the reviews. I will say this is the first time I wish they had the ability to do MORE than 5 stars! My husband's work truck broke down, total emergency! Even though he was booked all day, Danny came out that night and looked at it. He fixed the truck right away! Then he changed out my battery for me and checked my engine as an extra for free. We were so impressed with him, we had him out to check my daughter's car and he even fixed her taillights at no extra charge. The reasons I keep coming back to this guy when I have any car problems is because he is knowledgeable and right about diagnosing the problem, his honesty and his rates are very reasonable. Lately my van started to overheat and a mechanic at a local shop was charging me quite a bit just to trouble shoot systems before even fixing the problem. I had a rear brake shoe job for my 05 Sienna, Bill (Nabil) was up to the task...he came on Sunday, which is hard to find someone working on Sundays, he went twice back and forth to get the parts and made sure the job was done right. He completed the job in a timely manner, took out the Old Brake shoes on both sides, put everything back, bled the brakes to make sure didn't have any air in the system. Bill did a marvelous job, he has the right tools and the right mentality to work any car problem. Danny is a fantastic mechanic. He came by an hour early which was great because my car really need the fix. He then proceeded to check out my entire car to see what was wrong with it. My NIssan Altima have been shaking violently for a full week so I was getting worried. Nice clean young man, knows his stuff. Hired him for a brake job as my rear brakes were making noise, showed up punctually took tires off and then realized that the brakes were fine that it was the accumulated brake dust that was making the noise. Very conscientious on the price for coming out. A couple of weeks after my engine light came on I called him and check the code went directly to the possible problem and within 10 minutes it was fixed, cracked small hose. Honest and prompt service. Danny was courteous and professional. He showed me how he troubleshot my suv's problem and determined it was a bad sensor and made sure that it fixed the problem. His rate was fair especially after the dealership told me it was a bad timing chain that they wanted $850 dollars to replace.
