Through Credit Karma I contacted RateGenius because I was informed my new loan through GM Financial interest rate at 6.99% was exorbitant which I had suspected since 3 years ago it was only 2.99 %. An agent by the name of Leah Braize reached out to me from RateGenuis. She informed me I should be paying as low as 3.49% based on my 800 score. We began the process to refinance. Took a couple of hours once I received the paperwork and off to UPS I went. She guided me through the process with such professionalism, sensitivity and knowledge! Once I got approved by rateGenius, they sent me an email with his name and contact information (informing me that he was my loan officer). He contacted me within 30 minutes to talk about what offers I had to choose from and talked about what worked best for me and my financial well-being. I was very wishy-washy about what I wanted,but Jean Claude was very very patient with me. Once I decided on the loan terms I wanted to go with (my car payment went from $445/mo to $280/mo!!!!) the paperwork was sent to me that day. These guys are awesome, my credit was pretty horrible but I was trying to get our car loan refi'd in my own name and off my husband's credit, it took them about an hour and got me approved at 5.9 (the week before I was approved for 10.5 at roadloans) thank goodness I didn't sign with them and waited. I was very pleased with the personal assistance via phone and email, and it was a fairly quick process.
