Walked into one of the best novelty stores in Los Angeles. They have unique one of gifts. Something for everyone. We spent about 30 minutes there. My daughter loved the complimentary jolly ranchers. Also they have a mystery bag where you reach in and grab a surprise. Really cool. The lady helping us couldn't have been anymore helpful. I highly recommend this shop. Support small business and give them a try.

Amazing little gem. This spot caught my eye when I was on my way to "Hey Hey" to grab some Boba... and, Wow! I am in love with all of the handmade jewelry and unique pieces they have here. They have everything from jewelry to clothes to socks to candles to oils and tinctures and stickers. This is a cute little shop to come explore for special gift-giving. It gives mystical vibes. I came here specifically for a farewell gift for my coworker who loves astrology and numerology, etc. I found him a cute mini "Libra" candle with a quartz crystal in it as well as a "Cat Eye" necklace. He absolutely loves it. I guess what I'm trying to say is.... I will be back.

I walk in here regularly and they always have some new stuff to look at. Plus they have a super fun oracle deck out that you can pick a card from. I think this store has something for everyone you just have to look through everything, usually doesn't have the same stuff twice. Lots of local artists sell their stuff here too! Love the earrings I bought & a smudge stick.

I had to update my review because in the past week I've gotten almost a daily compliment on this gorgeous necklace. I now need to return soon to find matching earrings!

Well I went in to look around and went to go grab a necklace, and something fell off the shelve and had a little chip that you can barely see. I explained that someone put out the necklace under the beetle causing the bettle to fall and that it wasn't my fault. The person behind the counter said that I broke the beetle thingy and should pay for it. I ended up paying for something that wasn't even my fault that it broke. I noticed that she put the necklace under something else that was Probaby going to break again!

Just a few of my favorite earrings I've gotten here!

I love shopping here! I've bought so many birthday gifts for my family and friends... and I always find something cute for myself too my favorite thing to buy is the earrings that always are GORGEOUS and so lovingly chosen/made. The owner, Tiger, radiates warmth and kindness; you can tell how much she loves every piece in the shop. She's so mindful about what she chooses that she could tell you the story behind the artists or materials of everything! If you're like me and prefer to shop at a small business for presents or retail therapy, I highly recommend coming here!

Deals and steals! So delighted this consignment shop exists on the Westside. The staff here is so welcoming and sincere, and are not afraid to strike up a warm conversation. The store is run very efficiently for consignors as well -- I've consigned many men's designer that have sold quickly here. I'd say it's easier to find nice designer womenswear. Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

Used to love this place but now it's more of a buyer beware situation, based on a recent…read moreexperience. I purchased two candle holders and later got a voicemail saying I owed an additional 33 cents because they'd undercharged me. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake.

I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
