I haven't been feeling well at all the last 3 days. My stomach has been cramping so I decided to order a one day cleanse from Raw Juice through Uber Eats. I haven't ever done a justice cleanse before. I opened the first juice Raw Green and it was delicious! After a bit I went to get my Orange Theory shot and saw what looked like mold on the juice shot. It was white on the outside and green on the inside. I called the store to let them know that I got mold in my juice shot. I wasn't mad, I was upset because I was excited to do the cleanse and I felt like this would ruin it for me (I'm weird with food)) The girl on the phone apologized several times then got the manager Maddie. Maddie was sweet, understanding and apologetic. She said the juice was just pressed yesterday and she didn't know why it would have mold. She said I could either come in or order something small through Uber Eats then she would add a couple juices to make up for it. I took the ordering new juices route. I hate driving. Sigh. Then after we hung up and I was looking on Uber at their menus Maddie called me back and said that the "mold" was more than likely just settlement from the cardamom. After I looked at the juice shot again the "mold" was gone. I apologized for causing a ruckus. Maddie was again the magically professional individual she is and said "oh no worries, it happens! Please still order through Uber and we will make it right!" God bless GREAT customer service, even when the customer is CLEARLY wrong. Asked to speak to a supervisor since I'm on a particular diet with certain natural sugars. The supervisor said they don't keep track of that on their juices. Asked for a number for someone who might know and I got a number for a Chloe who was Operations Manager and she also told me she didn't know. If they don't care about telling their customers the nutrition in their juices (not that they have to owe FDA standards), that's fine, but to not even have *any* idea is scary and just horrible for those with immune issues, on certain diets or who can't eat certain natural sugars. I have been to this location now (twice in one week). Yep, I liked it that much. My first visit this week...I had the raw "tuna" salad. It comes in 2 sizes. 12 oz for $6.50 and 24 oz got $12. I opted for the smaller size (and that's actually all they had) just in case I hated it. Well you know what? I surprisingly loved it! You could tell that everything was fresh. The tuna was a blend of walnuts and other raw items and it was amazing. It was served with the cashew lemon vinaigrette. Delish! I also had the AB&J organic smooth-e-lixir. It was banana, almond mylk, almond butter, dates, blueberry, strawberry, cashew mylk and garnished with chopped almonds and raw honey (which can be removed for vegans). Not sure who though all those ingredients would go good together but thanks to who ever came up with this concoction! I ended the first time meal with the raw cashew butter cup. This was so so for me. I could taste the coconut oil so it was a no go. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't my cup of tea. All of this set me back $26! I did get a free shot for checking in via Yelp...and they coffee shot was amazing! Today's visit was a little over $20. I opted for "da house salad". Also comes in 2 sizes. 12 oz for $5 and 24 oz for $9. It has a lot going on...spinach, kale, romaine lettuce all chopped with quinoa, tomatos, red peppers, mulberry, cucumber, sunflower seeds, pepitas, hemp seeds and served with the cashew vinaigrette. I of course got an E-lixer too. This time I had the Hughley Elite3. Banana, strawberry, date, almond mylk, garnished with almonds and raw honey. I got another free coffee shot! Yay for me! It was again delicious. I admit I originally stayed away because of the cost. I totally enjoyed the atmosphere. Both visits found me talking to the employees as they explained the good. They were all friendly and they are the ones who mentioned the free shot since it's not mentioned on Yelp. I am looking forward to trying a few more items including the bowls and the smooth-e-bombs! All you need is "u" ;) I came here for a yelp event and from there it was uphill. The manager Kevin I think his name was very helpful. Helped me pick out an açaí bowl. The OMG bowl. It was surprisingly good and made super fresh. I usually don't eat super healthy like that but it kinda tastes like yogurt even the texture feels like it. Just think of it like that but wayyy more benefits. All the juices, including the bottled ones are amazing as well. You never have to fear either because they have the juices in buckets so you can try them before getting the whole bottle. They also have other food samples you can try. This is review is for the 3-Day Cleanse package. There are a number of cleanse and a " body reset" packages you can purchase. Basically, you get a bunch of Raw Juce and booster shots to feed your body for a day up to a full week. If you want a convenient (though not cheap) way to give your digestive system a rest, or something along those healthy, feel lighter and brighter lines - a cleanse is a good way to go. You are able to taste the juices in advance and are offered a few choices to swap the recommended flavors. They are packed up in a sturdy and attractive insulated bag that is yours to keep and reuse. I picked up day 1 supplies the night before and returned the day after for days 2-3. The juices can spoil after a few days so you gotta get them fresh. On day 1, I drank all 6 juices plus 2 boosters and the tons of water they also recommended you consume throughout the day. By midday on day 2, I was dying to chew something crunchy - but I wasn't really hungry. By evening 3 I had some raw sweet peppers and salad greens and skipped a few of the juices, but I felt great about the whole cleanse gig. My skin was really healthy and I had more energy. It was a perfect set up to launch a cleaner eating routine for the Spring and Summer. Like I said, these cleanses aren't cheap- but you are buying convenience - and fresh, cold-pressed organic juices with fine quality ingredients you can't just pick up anywhere, even Whole Foods. I love ft Lauderdale, but I'm so happy that a plant-based spot finally made its way out west. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained their variety of offerings. Their menu board is pretty expansive so it was really nice to have someone give us the break-down and recommendations. I love that they offer juice samples since there are so many, it's hard to choose! The color coordinated set-up with the array of hues neatly lined up make their juices all the more enticing. I'd also like to note how nice it was to have a staff member serve and interact with us in front of the counter rather than from behind. I'm not sure if that's the norm, but it made the service run more smoothly and felt much more personable. That's the kind of attention to detail and customer service I appreciate. I lost track of which juices I sampled. They were all delicious, but the highlight for me that day was the coconut water. If I remember correctly, their coconuts are sourced from Thailand and wowww! I can't remember the last time, if ever, that I had coconut water as fresh and sweet. In the end, my friend and I opted to share a protein bowl to re-fuel from our workout. We tried the black magic bowl which was an absolute delight for the tastebuds! I'm currently trying to be vegan right now which is an easy fix; just order it with oat milk and no honey. Pro-tip: enjoy it at one of their outdoor tables. The way the cold and creamy blend hits your palette on a warm sunny day is what summer dreams are made of. They also serve some vegan lunch and snack items that I definitely want to come back and try, like the "tuna" salad. I also got a detoxifier health shot from the check-in offer. I wasn't too crazy about it, but it was interesting to try. The most notable flavors were the grapefruit, cayenne pepper, and sea salt-- all strong flavors in their own regard, so it's quite a kick to the senses when they hit you all at once! Honestly, my only issue with this place is that it's pretty pricey. I can't even complain though because the high quality of ingredients along with the great customer service make it worth your top dollar. Seriously, I had one delicious day today, visiting Raw Juce in Weston! I'd purchased juice there, but never eaten and the OMG Bowl was outstanding. It was a very generous portion and super tasty. The blended oat milk, banana, protein, etc. tasted like frozen yogurt but less sweet, and the toppings, which included blueberries, strawberries, honey, nut butter, granola, hemp seeds, (and did I forget anything???) was really great. I especially liked the surprise crunch of a hidden layer of granola at the bottom, too! It doesn't get any fresher, that's for sure. I also appreciated the opportunity of sampling the different juices before making my selection. If you're like me and not that familiar with the "vast variety" of juices, I strongly urge you to visit this spot and have the folks enlighten you. Other "specialty" places can be ontimidating if you're new to the 'plant based diet' scene, but this team really seem committed to sharing the benefits (and tastiness!) with you. After the event at Bodytek Weston, and after having the samples, we went over to the Raw Juce location a couple of blocks away to check it out. The store is modern, clean and spacious; and the staff were friendly and offered us further samples before making a purchase. We ended up getting a couple of full size juices as well as some smaller "Shots". Raw Juce also serves bowls, salads and some interesting looking protein drinks. I loved how clean and pretty the place was. That really caught my eye. Also, how easy it was to read and understand their drink and food menu. The one thing I didn't like though was the customer service. Even my friend was shocked with it. We weren't treated that great. It's like the girl at the cash register didn't even know we existed. We waited for awhile until we finally had to speak up and say something. When we did that, her attitude got worse. It's her job to serve us, and all we wanted were smoothies. They also have some really great juices, and they are great about allowing you to sample as many as you want. Last summer, we loaded up on juices before the hurricane. Currently, if you check in on yelp, they give you any of their shots for $1 and it goes to charity. Love this idea! The staff is really friendly, and the store is always really clean.
