This place is pretty damn good. I wanted some new rims and tires but had some crappy credit. Rent-A-Wheel was able to get me some 18's and help me get in the habit of paying bills on time. I don't know what is up with the other reviews, it's pretty easy--just sign up on auto-pay and the bill takes care of its self. When you first sign up the collector and the sales men go over the contract and explain how and when to pay. I have gotten a couple of reminders when I switched my debit card, but they never called my family and friends--maybe cause I was never more than four days late. Maybe the other reviews were referring to the old managers, I don't know? If you can save up all your money and buy rims and tires up front with cash, then do that; I couldn't, so I took advantage of the payment program. I thought the new manager guy was informative when it came to what wheels and tires would fit and look good on my car. I have been making my payments for about a month now and have recommended this spot to my sister and her friends. If you need help picking out the right set of wheels for your car, then hit this spot up. I really wasn't going to write a review, but I saw that the only people that did write reviews were people who paid late and did not understand how business works. I think it's easy, follow through on your end and they will follow through on their end. Bottom line, these guys explained some of the mechanics of the cars suspension and also explained all the benefits of being part of Rent-A-Wheel. The new staff know exactly what they are talking about, and understand the appropriate amount of customer service to give without being pushy. It's been almost 10 years, it was my first time after so long. The city of Riverside, Inland Empire has gone through a considerable amount of changes. New stores that were not existed back in early 2000s. This Rent A Wheel location has moved to a new location, just several yards over; literally hehe. I went in to inquire on a set of Lexani wheels, friendly staffs I must say. I was introduced to a sale consultant named Christie (my apologies if I misspelled), wonderful service, impeccable approach and positive attitude. She helped me to inquire the prices on both Lexani CSS-8 and Lexani R-14, thanks Christie. Here are my complaints or concerns, I have walked into other Rent A Wheel locations and other stores; so I took notice that Rent A Wheel franchise deliberately wanted to keep their showroom at the least or minimum amount of space, hence least amount of selections. Maybe to keep the lease / rent at the minimum, in another word can be good and bad, really depends on different perspective. I would like to see this Rent A Wheel franchise will offer more selections of wheels and of course bigger showroom. Until then, if you are on budget, Rent A Wheel can satisfy your needs. read more

We went to look for some flat black 20's. Kiki was very helpful and very informative. I didn't know that a charger could only use lo profile rims. I was dead set on flat black. She made a few calls and was able to find something I like. She was also able to work on a payment that fit our budget and move the first payment out. I go in to the riverside store for 4 new tires and rims for my 2017 infinity q50 red sport. The store has used rims on hand but nothing new they gave me a catalog to thumb threw. Without even checking vehicle recommendations I was told what pages of rims would best fit my vehicle. The rims I picked were ordered. After installation I notice a wobble on the way home. About 75 miles my car shakes violently. I returned the following day to have it checked. Rebalancing car still shakes. 3 trips back with the same problem only to be told it's a balancing problem. By the 4th trip they have put 27 weights per rim and the car still shakes. Obviously something is wrong with the rim. I have been getting the run around by district managers and nothing has been solved. My car does not feel safe to drive. According to the rims manufacturer The rims do not even show up for this model car as even being an option. Probably because these rims are to heavy and are not recommended for my car .. as the staff at the riverside store claimed. Manufacturers web site also says that their rims are not designed to be used with any adaptors or accessories. The riverside store manager had placed 2 spacers on the front and had to remove the bolt on each rotor to attempt to fix this problem without asking me if I approved or telling me they removed parts off my car. I called infinity and they said That bolt is what keeps my rotor secured to the vehicle. This is now the 4th time I'm having to take time off a whole day each trip to come down and deal with this crap and nothing has been done. I paid $2500 cash for what I thought was a simple purchase and tire swap. This is a nightmare. All 4 of my tire pressure system monitors are out, this is the 2nd time they will need to be replaced since the rims were originally installed. I even requested for a better brand and was denied. How many times will I have to come down here. It seems some of the employees/managers do not know what they are doing or talking about. I can not speak on the Moreno Valley store as I am still waiting to be seen.. it's almost 2pm. This is now costing me money and time read more

DO NOT Visit this location on 5640 Van Buren Blvd in Riverside. The manager Kiki was rude the girl in the front with the weird lip piercing was also not helpful. I bought my wheels and tires from the one in Moreno Valley (awesome store) but the one in Riverside did not really want to help! All I needed was to get my flat fixed and they said I didn't pay for it at the time which is incorrect and they could fix a flat for $50!!! I did not realize how much i was charged till I checked my online banking account. By then it was too late the tires where paided off and when i went to speak to the manger his excuse was i was not in the system any longer.. Don't ever go to this place it is a big mistake you will get ripped off and they will try to give you used rims and charge you for new ones, not only that here's the kicker I have been with them making payments since December when I got my new rims new used rims right so I haven't been on time on all my payments I admit that but I have made five or six consecutive payments maybe a little bit late I've been paying late charges everything so this is what happens when worse comes to worse I happen to get laid off of my job I was at for 5 years due to we just being slow and I call Rent a Wheel talk to the manager Kiki and this is what I was told rims are luxury Kevin they're not a necessity really is this how you deal with your customers then I tried to get the number for corporate and then I couldn't get the number for corporate they wouldn't reply so what thumbs down and negative replies don't ever go there you going to try to get there going to try to rip you off the rims are overpriced they don't give you new rims going to make you use new tires so take my advice don't stay far far away from there and they will never ever stop harassing you three or four days before your payments even do when when you're making it when you are making your payments on time and they're still harassing you I'll just letting you know your payments coming up really get a real job rentawheel people read more
