Yummmm! I just went here for the first time! We got the North Idaho roll, tempura roll, Vegas roll, salmon nigiri, and the sushirito! Everything was delicious! It was my first time having a sushirito and I thought it was awesome. The fish tasted fresh and melted in your mouth, the guys running the truck were really friendly and make the sushi fast. The sushi rolls were tight and didn't fall apart. This is our new favorite spot and the best sushi I've had in North Idaho. You can tell these guys are passionate about making great food. What a great business owner to have in our community! He's been feeding me delicious sushi for three years. This is one of the few places I'll go for take out bc he lets me bring my own clean containers instead of getting new plastic containers at each visit. Today I told him I forgot my containers but had my own bag...after a short wait he brought my order out in an old Wakame salad container that he was probably going to throw away. We tried their Dragon, Spider, and Sushiritto rolls and we were extremely DISAPPOINTED!! 90% of it was rice...as a matter of fact, it was double rolled in rice with very little fish and veggies inside. The only reason I knocked off a star was for the price. I was glad I'd gone to their website to check out their menu and prices beforehand. It was really good, but spendy. Took my daughter out for her birthday because of the great reviews. We joked that we should get the $60 family platter, but we spent nearly that much on the caterpillar, spyder, and large chef's choice nigeri we got. That plus tip(which leaves me asking why tip two guys in a food truck?) put me around 70 bucks for just enough food to get us pleasantly full. I might go again if I was actually in CDA, but I don't know if I'd make a special trip from the Valley for it. read more

After much anticipation we were pretty disappointed with this food truck. The "sushiritto" should be called the rice and crab filler roll. Only minuscule pieces of fish, hardly any sauce and just overall very poor effort. Customer service was also poor but you don't go to a food truck for customer service. I am regrettably giving this place two stars. Today they were suppose to be open and they are closed. Which is a regular problem for me every time I drive by wanting some when online it says open and I come by and they are closed. However the one time I did get food I had already ordered and paid for my food to be told after the chef was away and it would only be a few min till he would be back. I didn't get my food till 30 to 45 min later without so much as an apology. Thankfully it was my day off. That all being said I got the Las Vegas roll which was large and delicious however to big to fit in my mouth and I had to bite it in half which I feel like sushi should be a one bite thing. BUT it was delicious and if you happen upon them when they are in fact open AND the chef is actually there then you should try it cus not only is it great sushi out of a truck it's great sushi period. read more

Travis- the owner and chef has a total commitment to the art of sushi. Everything is super fresh, beautifully prepared and "crafted" in a way that appeals to the eye as well as the palate. The only real shame is that Raw Dead Fish does not have a sit down, traditional restaurant location. While Travis provides his clientele with the best sushi available in the area, including Spokane and not surpassed even in Seattle, sushi to go doesn't treat us to the ambiance of a Japanese Sushi restaurant experience. Maybe he'll consider opening a location in Cda if his loyal customers pester him enough? read more

I do prefer to go sit down for my sushi dinner, but this was great if I wanted to grab a roll and head home! I noticed many people call in their order, as I waited a good 15 min for my order.
