Getting a haircut seemed like a fun a productive way to spend my free time. I know nothing about the area, but I stumbled upon Sole's yelp page and it said that they were offering $20 off to book with Chelsea. I called and without asking, was told the Chelsea was one of the two stylists available during the date and time I requested. Perfect! Guy, who answered the phone was friendly and accommodating and asked a lot of questions about what I wanted to ensure I would have a good experience. It made me feel like they were very professional, and he really talked Chelsea up, saying she was super experienced, but just new to this particular salon, hence the yelp promo. He also gave clear parking instructions on the phone, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was really clean and welcoming, they immediately offered me water or tea. Chelsea was great. I wasn't particular about what exactly I wanted, but she listened and made suggestions and I totally trust her judgement. She was really calculated and took her time with me. I am sure I was her last appointment of the day, but I didn't feel rushed at all. She genuinely wanted to do a great job and I looked and felt great at the end of it. Like I said, I don't live in the area and I only get my hair cut once every two years, but I would still highly recommend this place and Chelsea. So if you do live in the area and need a haircut, give her a try.

I had someone come out for detection and removal services about a week ago. Unfortunately I found more lice in all 3 of my daughters hair roughly 2 weeks after our appointment. No problem, right!? This company has a 100% guarantee... WRONG! Apparently there is only a guarantee if a follow up appointment is booked the day of the original appointment. 1) I wish I knew this little caveat to the guarantee, and 2) why in the world would I book a follow up appointment on the day of my original appointment? I expected the problem to be solved right then and there. Given the problem wasn't taken care of the original visit, and this company had thrown a loophole in their guarantee policy, they deserve nothing more than 1 star. Do better.

Lice is THE WORST. If you are reading this, I'm so sorry for your itchy troubles…read more Ok, but Lice Free Clinics is the best. 1 hr, $200ish/per person later and they be gone. We had lice years ago and did the whole at home remedies and it didn't work. We then ended up going to some place near us in Berkeley that has since closed down and it got rid of the lice real quick. Cut to a month ago and we had lice, the whole fam... FUN! We called around and Lice Free was able to get us in the next morning and rid us of our lice in about an hour (and I have some thick, long hair). They start by combing out the nits and lice. They then put in this spray, they put ya under a heat lamp, and then they comb it out once more. Boom. They sold us what is some probably over-priced oil that we did a few times over the next few weeks. My head was itching abbot 3 weeks later and they told me that if I don't see a live bug, I'm good. However, I went in for the check-up regardless, and sure enough no lice. The check-up did cost $20, but is not charged if you indeed have lice, in which they give you a free treatment. *Within 30 days, I believe.
