I have been going to Raya for years now , and I am so pleased by their services specially their facials . Also their deep tissue massages are just sensational . The Spa is very clean and relaxing. The music ambiance is super Zen. The staff is very friendly. I go to Karmela for my facial and Microtherapy and they also have those amazing lamps that lift your face . What a wonderful place! I have been coming to Raya on and off for 10 years and as they grow the quality, experience, and great prices remain the same if not better. Today I treated myself to a facial for my birthday. I usually just do waxing here but now this will be where I go for facials too. I felt so incredibly pampered and cared for. The pricing makes it so easy to add on all the great extras. I included microdermabrasion, and light therapy. The wonderful esthetician included oxygen therapy for me to try and she was so right. Raya is my favorite place to get a facial in all of Los Angeles. Love love love this place. I have been coming here for years and the quality is so consistent and my skin feels amazing every single time. The prices are hard to beat at $85 for a customized European facial. The staff here is probably my favorite part of Raya, all of the estheticians are so kind and knowledgeable about skin. I love that they always include a neck and shoulder massage during a facial too. Although the extractions aren't the fun part, I know I am in good hands here and the results are worth it. If you don't like getting extractions, I highly suggest the 24 karat gold facial ($100) for a more relaxing option that will also leave your skin feeling smooth and glowing. I first went to Raya Spa in the 90s and was super impressed with their high quality services and INCREDIBLE line of products. I have continued ordering their products since then and I can say the quality and variety is amazing, and the price is incredibly reasonable, barely more than drugstore brands. I recently started going back for monthly facials, and I've fallen in love all over again. The spa is beautiful to visit, and the facial you get there is above and beyond any facial you will get anywhere else. I always see Diana because she does an amazing job and is so kind. I decided to go here because my waxing lady is gone for a month at the place I usually go. I looked up so many places and found this one with the best reviews. Now before I tell you why it's two stars it's not because I had an unpleasant time, it was because the person that waxed me used the same stick for dipping the whole time. When I look for places to get waxing this is my BIGGEST thing. I'd rather go somewhere with not the best service and get a clean new stick in each time they dipped in the wax and it already touched my skin.... I stopped going to Raya after the pandemic because I was lazy and didn't want to drive from El Sereno to West Hollywood. Instead I overpaid for heyday, skin laundry, and other little day spas that were less of a drive. I was never satisfied. So today I finally sucked it up and dealt with the 101 and 10 to get my butt back to my favorite day spa, and boy did it not disappoint. It is worth the drive and every penny ( which is far cheaper than I paid at some places) I waited all of 30 seconds to be taken to my room and was treated like a queen. The woman who did my facial ( im not sharing her name because im selfish and don't want it to become difficult for me to book her) was a goddess and knew exactly what my skin needed. She didn't even push me on product at the end, it was me asking what was new and if i needed to add anything to my regimen. She gave me a free sample of their new cbd serum. Although i stopped going for a few years I never stopped using their products which you can order from their site directly or amazon! After a rough Tuesday in LA, a spa facial is what I needed. Most of the beauty technicians, majority from Russia are very skilled and gentle. They also pack products perfectly so you don't experience any leaks or breaks during shipping. The reason for my review today is that I had an issue with a product (no fault of theirs) so I reached out to customer service (via phone then email) and they went above and beyond to make me a happy customer again. The fact that you can speak to another human on the phone with no wait time during these times as opposed to an automated machine is a relief! Did not love my experience at the spa. I am a regular for facials across LA & OC, and this just did not make the cut. The only good thing about this spa is the products, which I ended up buying a mask and exfoliant and really enjoy! Why I didn't like the facial: the room felt messy and not organized. It was a small space, so the large light hung over the bed/table so much that I had to duck under to lay down properly. Seemed like it was in my face the entire time. I also didn't love how little my aesthetician told me about the products! I told her I was a product junkie and asked with each product what she was using and active ingredients and really just got short answers lIke "it's an enzyme mask". Didn't make me feel like the service was at all catered to my skin. Meh. read more

Coming from the medical aesthetics industry I am always going and trying new aestheticians in the area as I get facials monthly (I have my go to girl) but it's nice to come to places that come recommended, especially with all of the talent in the area. That being said, I was excited to try this spa. It's minutes from my house and the facials are reasonably priced. Upon entering there is some water and many products from Rayas branded skincare line. The facial felt amateur- i think I had a min or two of facial massage, and the first ten minutes were spent with my aesthetician pretty much updating me on drama and gossip in the office. NOT relaxing- I get people feel open around me but this was just not the best start of a $150 facial. I do have congested skin and I had some active breakouts- she went way to deep and hard with the extractions leaving me with a abnormal purge period and redness post facial. I didn't have that nice "glow" after the facial on the fresh clean feeling my skin usually has after an hour with an expert. She did a mask, cleanse, extractions, and some exfoliating. I couldn't relax and didn't have a end result that I felt reflected the price or quality I was hoping for. Hoping they start to really take into consideration continued training-feedback review-and quality of products they are using as well as how well the aesthetician knows how to treat skin types without the patient feeling like they are just " winging"the facial. I would of loved to have the five star experience this place boasts. read more

Had a great massage that I booked last minute. I was pretty uncomfortable with their beds where it felt my head was smashed into the headrest area and the spa facilities are closed.. other than that my massage was great. Wish I could've relaxed a little more but 80% of it was just my anxiety having a massage again in the spa area. So this review is not only for the awesome facial specialist, Lili, but also the staff and front desk of Raya spa. I mean talk about the epitome of customer service and class! I had originally booked my facial appointment for 2:45 pm on Wednesday but then changed it to 1:30 pm on the same day. I was running late so I let the establishment know. By the time I got there and parked, I was already half an hour late to my session. But instead of showing me a bad attitude and threatening to charge my card as a "no show" or "cancellation", the front lady kindly worked with Lili to move her next appointment a little further. This is precisely the reason why I will be coming back to this spa ALWAYS & recommend it to everyone with confidence.
