We hired Raynor Door Company to make the custom wooden doors for our new 3 car garage. One double door and one single (see photos attached). The quality and craftsmanship is unmatched, they are truly beautiful. Easy, one day installation. We had an issue with one door about a year after install and they immediately came out and serviced. Very happy with Raynor and would highly recommend them.

My new beautiful garage doors - Recessed colonial grooved auburn woodtone with plastic magnetic hardware purchased from Amazon

Texts from my neighbors: "Beautiful garage doors!" I whole-heartedly agree! I am very pleased with my dealings with Raynor. Being a real estate professional and attorney, I am highly detailed and make decisions based on analyzing all of the information and comparing estimates and quality from other contractors. It took me a few months to come to the decision to choose Raynor and choose the doors I chose, and Daniel and Brian were very patient with me and educated me throughout the entire process. The doors I chose were high quality with a life-time surface rust warranty (versus rust-through warranty of the other competitors), wood tone color that no owners have reported as fading, and a life-time warranty on the springs. (It should be mentioned that after the initial labor warranty period expires, I will need to pay for the labor for any materials warranty claims, and I will report on the fairness of those costs and the actual services in a follow-up review if and when that time comes). Additionally, the installers (Jeff and Devein - sp?) were on time and left me with the beautiful garage doors my neighbors are complimenting although I have some water coming into my garage in one area near to the doors. I reported the water issue a couple of days ago and Raynor is already scheduled tomorrow to make the weather seal or any other fixes. These are just some of the reasons we chose Raynor over competitors: the quality and beauty of their doors, their warranties, their patience and attention to the customer, and the responsiveness and skills of the employees. Final footnote: We did not buy our garage door lifts from Raynor as ours are still in great working order. I was surprised to read some of the poor reviews but it appears they are more re: lift masters and repairs. I hope to use Raynor for all of my garage door needs and I hope that they prove the reviews wrong if/when I may need repairs and/or new lifts.

Everything from the original consultation to the completed installation went smoothly. Would recommend them to others.

The first time it was a $400 service call for a Sunday (seemed high) but our cars were trapped and I had to leave very early on Monday.

I contacted "American Thermal Window Products" and wanted to get this house project rolling before 2022 came. Unfortunately, due to labor and material shortages, I was informed the door installation would be at least a three-month wait. Hey, that wasn't the company's fault and I always received a good service and prompt responses from the office. Nick was assigned to get in touch with me for an estimate. Nick and everyone else in the office were very friendly. Nick explained everything about the estimate (free in-person estimate) and answered any questions we had. He emphasized that everyone involving with the installation process worked for the company. With that being said, there would be no third party contractors hired off the street! I understood the virtue of using the company employees. I have been part of the gig economy for some times. I wouldn't say the contractors wouldn't do a job, yet there could be a lack of accountability on their part of work certainly. In late February 2022, I received a voicemail from Linda and immediately called the office. She scheduled the installation date for me and provided an arrival window. The crew came in prepared within the window and was ready to work! The installation was rather quick. The cleaning was thorough. Everything was painless. The crew leader told us that adjustment could be made if there was a need. That door...let me tell ya...was a godsent. It helped conserve the heat. It did have an energy-star icon, for those who are into the energy-efficient appliances. It is also esthetically pleasing. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'm going to inspect the windows for the rest of the house and to see if I can get "American Thermal Window Products" involved again.

We ordered new doors for our house including a new front door. Following installation, the front door was snapping and popping when the sun hit it, and started to fade and paint was flecking off. We called to have it replaced because it was under warranty. They replaced it with a door that looked worse. You could see the unpainted inside window trim thru the windows. We went back and forth, requesting our money back, but we were not able to make any progress other than they would order a new door for us. This took months, many phone calls with service and general manager. Finally they said they had 2 doors for us, and that we could pick. It's not lost on us that if we picked between the 2 doors, that then they could come back to us and say, "you picked it". One of the doors had sand inside the windows-clumps of sand. The other one looked better, but it was obvious that it was the first door that we had returned, just painted. We were done! This company has gone down hill since we ordered from them back in 2020. Avoid them at all costs. They are sneaky and don't have good customer service. Nor do they have effective management.

To me, his number one goal is to deliver a quality product without cutting corners. He is adept with his communication and listening skills. He is very clean, he partitions his work area with plastic sheeting, not allowing dust to spread throughout your home. He cleans up every evening prior to going home. Luis successfully bade and completed two very complex jobs on time and on budget. Job 1: Remove exterior door, concert landing, replace 2 sheets of exterior siding, frame and insulate the existing opening. Hang drywall to the interior seamlessly matching the existing walls and paint. Conclusion: Luis completed the job in 3 days. Viewing the interior and exterior of my home, you'd never know an exterior door existed at the previous location. All remnants of the landing were gone. Job 2: Luis expertly hand painted (two coats) my 2000 sq ft home and elongated 2 car garage. He was very detail oriented, painting the house, trim and doors. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give Mr. Luis Lopez Handyman a solid 10 for the 2 different jobs he completed for me.

He didn't level my floating floors before tiling (which was stipulated prior to signing the contract) and all of the tile work is unleveled and has buckling tile. The mortar is cracking and popping up. When I reached out to him for warranty repairs he told me to take it up with his attorney. I spent over $13k on a tile job for 4 rooms and I now need to have it all removed in order to have the floors properly leveled. He has no business being a contractor and I highly suggest you avoid him at all cost. My attorney has recommended that I look into a class action lawsuit against him. Edit: reply to Jason's response. Please do not believe the lies Jason has responded to my honest review of his tile failure in my home. 1st: The job was abandoned in June of 2019. 2nd: He refused to complete the job because I made the mistake of paying him the majority of the payments early after he presented a sob story about not being able to cover his pay roll. This was pre grouting before we noticed the tile was laid uneven. 3rd: I remained calm and cordial with him through the 2 months. I provided photos of the numerous areas that were unacceptable and unprofessional done. He always guaranteed he would correct the issues and never did. 4th: He refunded me $1000, not $2k after I threatened to take him to court for abandoning the job. I never signed any post agreement with him. He was supposed to create one for me to review and he never did. He must be confusing me with another victim of his. 5: I'm the one that pointed out the floating floor was not properly leveled and he tried to repair the sections after he had already laid uneven tile. His attempts made the floor more unstable. Before I signed the contract with him he guaranteed my floors would be leveled. 6: I had found a few bad reviews regarding His work prior to hiring him and he provided the same type of lies he used in response to my review here. 7: I was contacted by a former employee of his that told me my floor would start to fall apart after around a year because of Jason cuts corners. & that Jason has a history of scrubbing bad reviews with Angie's List and Yelp. 8.I turned down his initial bid as it was extremely high. I was going to hire Luna. Jason lowered his price in his bid in order to win the job. No terms were changed for the work to be completed and he guaranteed the work to be on par with Luna. After his poor craftsmanship became apparent he made a remark that he did level the floor because he lowered his price. Please note prior to the contract being signed we specifically discussed how the floor being leveled was to be included. (Not the basement floor, the main level were the tile us all falling apart now). He even made the remark "floor leveling us automatically included as it's part of properly tiling". 9. Protect yourself and find another contractor.
