Jeffrey I., we all have worked here many years and know the struggles you have in your life. We hope that it gets better for you as it caused you to miss over 33 days of work in less than a year. The call outs were causing the rescheduling of the work that was scheduled for you. Call outs are a tough thing and hurt your customers. All the things you wrote are sadly false. We would not and never have voided a manufacturer warranty. We sell (like all reputable HVAC Companies) a maintenance plan that can extend the LABOR ONLY portion beyond what the manufacturer offers. It would make sense that no one in any aspect of life can maintain a labor warranty for neglected unmaintained anything. So if customers do not want it they do not have to get it. They can keep what they bought which is covered always by the manufacturer because like the link you posted it was installed by a licensed HVAC contracting company, like we are. (Lic#2688) PS- The contract is less monthly than yearly ($258 yearly and $238 total for monthly) Everyone in this company is from all types of religions - Jewish, Muslim, Agnostic, Atheist, Catholics, JW, Methodist, Baptist etc. We do an event or two every year- but the pandemic stopped us while you worked here. We do not hold your year long bonuses, we pay them quarterly and some weekly. That way you don't have to wait til Xmas. You get all your money right away. Paid Holidays are paid exactly as the rest of the world - Hourly rate for 8 hours of paid time and you don't work the holidays, you are off unless on call. Then we pay extra per hour and per call if an emergency comes in. Trucks were stocked and training was done regularly. The calls out and lack of restocking your truck was a struggle for you. We would have loved to have you here like all the other techs. As a family owned and operated company we try to work with all of our employees, especially the last 2 years which have been so hard on the entire world in the pandemic. You often wanted to purchase the latest and greatest of everything you saw as a self professed tool lover, but did not have the funds. We assisted you to do that. We have all the company provided tools but yes technicians in all trades have a personal set of certain tools. We even helped out when you struggled with often breaking things that were company provided. All and all, we hope all the best for you. We work for a great company that works hard for their employees and their customers. We stand by our work and train employees at all different levels in all different ways. We wish you all the best and like we said to you before you left, we would reach out to other companies we know and help you find another job. The main floor central AC stopped working in our new house last month... just in time for the heat. I interviewed five companies for the best deal... we considered far more than just price. Customer service, timeliness, quality of workmanship, manufacture reviews and performance history, warranty, finance options, and of course the bottom line. Raynor Electric easily beat out their competition (and I interviewed some of the "go to" big name companies as well). John knew his trade well and was upfront with me about what we really needed, what was worth the investment versus what would provide the greatest profit. He was clear he wasn't just another sales person chasing a commission; we could tell he loves his job and knows what he is talking about. After deciding to go with Raynor, John walked us through all the paperwork to help us qualify for NJ's Energy Star financing rebate thing. He also walked us through the process and what to expect. Install day came and they worked around my schedule as best they could and completed replacement of two HVAC units (condenser, furnace, blower) and upgraded our water heater to tankless. Big Matt and his team did an excellent job... remained professional and courteous throughout the entire operation. We also opted for the Air Scrubber upgrade (I highly recommend it)... what a difference! We love the way our home feels and smells! Two days ago, the tenants in our old house informed us the AC unit went belly up there as well. When it rains it pours right? John to the rescue again. He did some minor emergency surgery on the compressor to help it last through the summer and provided us with a very reasonable quote to replace everything when we're ready. I'm gonna shift gears on my praise for this incredible company now. I don't know if I should advertise this or not (I don't want to get anyone in trouble), but I need to share this story as it shows how they look beyond just making a quick buck and value building a lasting relationship with their customers. First, I will say what he did for us has a lot to do with the fact we just invested in a large project in our other home, so it may not apply to others. Anyway, John didn't charge me for the visit or repair to our rental. Not a dime. He was able to do this because they developed a relationship with us based on trust and confidence. And yes, Raynor Electric LLC will most certainly earn our business again. I contacted Raynor Electric within minutes of our Electric company shutting off our electricity due to unsafe conditions. Raynor had a full schedule with their only opening towards the end of the day. They inquired the problem and said they would touch back once they could contact one of their guys. Within 30 minutes I received a call back informing me that Phil would be out within the hour to help us. Phil touched base with me soon there after informing me of his ETA and as schedule he arrived. Being electrically challenged during the course of an hour Phil provided a few scenarios and explained them easily enough to comprehend. The job was a complete overhaul of our electrical components and required a full days work. It was around 3:00 that I noticed that lunch had been skipped, 4 more hours later the job was complete. The thing that made this experience the best was we have just moved here and in owning a new home its been quite stressful, Phil's approachable demeanor and willingness to ensure we were satisfied was the break we needed. Having someone have a great amount of knowledge and be able to explain it in a courteous manner took the frustration....and thinking out of it. Prior to leaving Phil reviewed again the work that was completed and provided paperwork for all the items purchased and informative material. We plan on having a garage built with electricity and multiple projects down the road and will be requesting Phil by name and only go with Raynor in our future. We noticed throughout the day that the employees of Raynor Electric both in the office, the owners, and the electricians had a great communication amongst themselves. They seemed to mirror a family environment throughout. Although I didn't speak with the owner personally Phil conveyed a message to us that really words can't describe all we can say is thank you and our family will be loyal to your company and look forward to many years to come. read more

It's a shame that this company can't get their act together because they are super nice people..that being said,they called me 2hrs after they were supposed to be at my home(I took off work early)to ask me if I could reschedule to the following week bc they were held up at another job restoring someones air conditioning. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't already had a bad experience with them 2 months prior. In May, I set up an appt at my house that I was in the middle of selling and they never showed for the 11am appt & when I called to ask why they didn't come, they said that their employee put my appt down at 11pm in error so they never would've seen that as they don't even have those hours. They did make up for it by coming out later that evening(bc I had an inspection that next day and needed it) BUT I set up a "tune up" per their ad and assumed they would tune up my unit which is what my inspection needed. Their tune up is a diagnostics exam to observe if things are working well & to give you a list of what they feel you could benefit from. My unit was in working order and needed to be cleaned, filter changed etc but that's not part of the tune up so I didn't get what I needed anyway. I called the next day to complain and the owner(very nice) told me that the same girl that booked my appt in error was the one that should've told me what their appt entailed when I called & told them what I needed. But since they are family owned & the owner (and tech) were very nice, I decided to give them another chance on my new home and then they didn't come. It's a shame but they need to get their act together bc customers have lives also & to sit around and wait and then not show up is inexcusable. Raynor Electric LLC is by far the best electrical contractor - no strike that - they are the best of ANY contractors that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! That includes our 2 home re-modelers, who were great in their own right, but are not even in the same league as Raynor. We had our old house rewired from top to bottom by Raynor around 2 years ago, and they did a terrific job and brought everything up to code. Our most recent job involved a smoke/carbon dioxide detector that failed and no matter what my wife and I tried, it would not stop blasting it's alarm until we finally turned off our breaker which meant that our bedroom air conditioner went off as well. We called Raynor and let them know about the problem. This was Friday morning in the middle of a heat wave and once they heard that our AC was out, they said they would come out later that very same day! Long story short, the owner Tom showed up at around 5:30 that afternoon, diagnosed and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. It's been perfect ever since. You don't get service, and more importantly simple human compassion like that from too many people or companies like that now a days. Absolutely great! This morning I got a very friendly professional follow up call from Amanda at Raynor checking up on Tom's performance to make sure he did all of the right things and that we were completely satisfied. Understand that this is the owner of Raynor insisting that he be held accountable to their high standards just like any of his crew!!! I contacted Raynor Electric because I wanted a whole house generator installed. Matt, the field technician who came to my house was very honest and provided a fair estimate. He was straight forward with my wife and I on the price and he new what he was talking about. I liked Matt because he was an electrician and not a sales rep for the company. Also, when he met my wife he introduced himself and shook my wife's hand. On other estimates with different companies the guy provided and estimate to my wife and I but failed to shake my wife's hand or formally introduce himself to her which is s turn off. While getting estimates from several other companies for the whole house generator, the other companies sent out sales reps who were not electrician and they were very pushy to close the deal just like a car salesmen and Raynor Electric was not. I chose Raynor because Matt was very honest, polite and professional and listened to what I had to say unlike the other companies. Furthermore, there customer service was Excellent. If I had a question they were fast to respond and provide any information that I needed. If I called them someone always picked up the phone and addressed my concerns. When the work was being done at my house all of the workers were friendly and new exactly what to do. If they needed to come in the house they covered there sneakers to prevent dirt from getting in. I used Raynor Electric for some minor electrical repair and opted for the service plan which included a Home Electrical Safety Inspection. My first experience with the technician who came to my home was positive - I couldn't complain. The work was done satisfactorily and the price to have it completed seemed fair and reasonable. The only reason I am writing this review is because Chris Bruni, the electrician who came to do the safety inspection was outstanding. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. He was in my home for over two hours checking every electrical outlet (inside & out), smoke detectors, the electrical panel, the HVAC system, etc. If I had questions about something he was doing, he never seemed to mind that I interrupted what he was doing to answer the question so I could understand. Any time Chris was inside he wore shoe covers, which isn't always the case with contractors especially when they go in and out of your home several times. When Chris was finished the inspection, he went over the checklist thoroughly and gave me his "observations" and "findings"with details of the work and the cost for each job. There wasn't any pressure to make a decision to have anything done and he took the time to explain why he made the suggestions he did. I found Chris to be a wonderful representative for Raynor Services. They are fortunate to have such a dedicated employee. If I decide to have any electrical work done in my home I will be sure to call Raynor Services and ask for Chris. read more

I had various electric needs around our old victorian house. We had allowed quite a few small to moderate projects to accrue so that we could do one electrician call. Honestly, I was very apprehensive calling any electrician as my skill in this area is less than nil, and I was certain some sort of enormous bill was forthcoming. I would not say Raynor is cheap. However, I would absolutely use them again for any job around the house. I think with electricians, you get what you pay for. The technicians who initially came out to the house to do an estimate were professional, courteous and on time. They called shortly before they arrived. They explained every potential cost and even recommended not doing some tasks because it would not be cost effective to have them do it (cheaper to have a non-electrician handle). When we decided to retain, they were very prompt with scheduling, and called to remind prior to the start date. Even though they were all through the house, not a thing was out of place or bothered. They did each and every task at, or BELOW, the price estimated, and finished when they said they would finish. It has been a few weeks since they completed the job, and we have not noticed any deficiencies with any of the work performed. My experience with them was outstanding. This is my second review of Raynor Services. I needed additional lighting fixtures installed. I requested the same electrician, Kevin, who did the prior work. As before he was wonderful. Got the kitchen and bathroom lighting installed to my satisfaction. I also need a new dimmer switch so he installed that as well. We also discussed possibly putting in a new electrical panel. I like that he works with me, listening to what I have to say and then agreeing or making recommendations (such as what bulbs to use in each light). He was very personable and cleaned up after the job was completed - hauling out all the old lighting and boxes. Aside from the work, I have to commend this company on their communication - when I call I talk to a human being and always get texts, phone calls and emails advising me of the status of the appointment. Working at this company has been a deeply frustrating experience. The management is out of touch with what happens in the field, making it difficult for them to lead effectively. Most employees avoid speaking with the manager because of the negative atmosphere. The company is advertised as woman-owned, but the owner's wife seems more focused on profits than on ethical business practices. It's disheartening to see how they take advantage of both employees and customers with questionable pricing and ethics. The office environment is toxic, riddled with drama, and personal issues are brought into the workplace daily. Trust is virtually nonexistent among colleagues. No matter how hard you work, the only "reward" you get is even more work piled on your plate. I would strongly advise against working here or using this company's services. read more

We have been very pleased to use Raynor Services for installing new outlets in our home as well as yearly service to our heating system and electrical inspection of our electrical systems. Bob E. just left after inspecting our electric and offering some options for projects we plan for next spring. The attention to customer satisfaction from Raynor has been exemplary. We can always reach a live polite person by phone, receive immediate attention, and on-time respectful technicians that clean up after they are done working. Bob E. was professional and yet cheerful and friendly in explaining options and costs to me this morning. Who could ask for anything more? We had a wonderful experience and were totally impressed by our visit. Our hot water heater broke late Thursday night. We placed a call to Raynor Electric and by 11:00 the next morning Matt and Jim completed our install. They were very professional and did a neat, clean job. They even took the old hot water heater away. While they were here, we had them install an Air Scrubber. Within hours of the install, the air in my house actually smelled clean. I know there are skeptics out there, but after several confirmations, i can truthfully say that my air actually smells clean. Every time I walk into my house, I can't believe how fresh and clean it smells. I would definitely recommend the Air Scrubber to everyone. Thank you Raynor Electric for a job well done. read more

During a complete overhaul of our electric due to a downed tree two men came to our home to help get us back up and running again. One was initially there and joined by Gabriel (Mike). We did not realize the extent to which things needed to be repaired let alone that our crawlspace would be a place required to access during the process. Gabriel lived in our crawlspace for the course of the day, not for me I give him credit. Through the cold and confined spaces when he emerged he had a positive attitude reflecting how much he seemed to enjoy the work he does. I had two Raynor Electric technicians at my home this week and everything was first class. Both Nick Colangelo and Chris Bruni were extremely professional in every aspect of the job. They laid out protective drop cloths on my floors and covered furniture and clothing with plastic sheeting, and everything was cleaned up as they went and upon completion of the job. They kept me apprised of progress throughout the day and presented me with options when some original plans for lighting were not going to work, and asked questions before proceeding with portions of the job to get my approval. I have used Raynor Electric for the past 4 years. Most of us are familiar with contractors who promise a repair and then disappear after doing the job half-assed. You won't find this with Raynor Electric. The are on time, finish the job, and charge for the work they did. If a problem arises after they leave, call them and they will make it right. I just had new outlets placed in my kitchen, Phil came on time, was professional, recognized us as prior customers, and finished with a smile. If you have any other problems, call the office and the phone will be answered by Amanda. She is knowledgeable and can help you with a problem over the phone. After reading the other reviews, I have to wonder if we engaged the services of the same company. Everyone--from the person who answered the telephone to the technicians who came to the house--were knowledgeable, courteous, and honest about what to expect. They religiously kept me informed about when the techs would arrive and what work would be done. I didn't expect instant gratification and knew that I would pay a service fee if I did not hire them to do the work. They are up front about that from the start. They are a little expensive, but not as expensive as the previous electrician I hired, who made a mess and never came back. I had no idea who to call and found Raynor Electric on Facebook of all places! I called and asked for an estimate for an attic fan, electrical outlets and a ceiling fan. They were here within 3 days for an estimate. They sent a guy named Phil. Let me tell you, I highly recommend him. I am a person that is very hard to please - I just hate "sales" people. If there were 10 stars to give out (not st 5), I would give 10, as Raynor "is fantastic at every level". I had an issue at 11:00 at night. I emailed the website (general email message) to detail the issue, and I thought maybe it would take a couple days to have a follow up. At "7:00a.m." the next morning I had a call from Raynor, and by 12:00 that same day, the "owner" was here and fixed the issue. So, in sum 1) "Great" service, 2) "Top quality" work, 3) Ultra responsive, and 4) Extraordinarily reliable. Our technician, Matt, was very friendly, courteous and efficiently diagnosed and planned the remediation of our heating problem. He took the time to point out what was wrong and provided some extra measures we could take, should we decide to, in the future. No sales pitch, no pressure to add additional costs.
