Wonderful experience with Airmasters. We had a 25 year-old hot water heater and a 30 year-old HVAC. We had gotten a reasonable estimate for new hot water heater and HVAC system. We set a date and the morning of that date. I received a text saying the three technicians were on their way. Names and pictures of the three technicians reported that text they came one time removed the old equipment cleaning up as they went. And installed the new equipment. Walked me through the operation of this equipment. They left my house cleaner than it had been before they came. I cannot recommend highly enough this company. Friendly, professional, quick service. My repairmen, Jacob and Emanuel, diagnosed my HVAC heater on 1/4/24 after contacting on 1/3. I was originally told from a previous repair company, it was a faulty blower motor, $650. After installing a new blower motor on 1/9, Jacob and Emanuel assessed, it was not the motor, then proceeded to order a motor module. After installing the module on 1/19, the heat was good to go. Both were professional and knowledgeable. Also Brooke, whom I contacted on 1/20, requesting detailed information pertaining to the job performed, for insurance purposes, was emailed to me within 30 minutes. He did not call as promised with the repair price and to actually schedule the service but had the audacity to call me within minutes of me posting this about my review. Totally unprofessional! Giving one star. Terrible service. I called and the lady over the phone was very nice. She told me a time and told me the names of one or two guys who would be stopping by to do the work. One of those guys called me when he was about 10 minutes away, he still didn't show up until 25 minutes later instead of 10 but it was still within the window. I was trying to explain to him what I assumed the issue was because my heat was not working but I posted a video of my issue to a helpful Facebook group and they have me some guidance on what it could be. I even followed some of that guidance and was able to get my heat back on, so I kinda knew what needed to be fixed. When Jacob came he was not trying to hear anything I was saying. He started taking doors off my heater and pulling cords out and putting his mouth on things and telling me it was a pressure switch. I explained to him the things I had tried which did not match what he said. However after putting the cord in his mouth I figured he must be an expert. So I went with that. He said he'd call me with a repair price but was clear he was only here for an estimate and would call me in an hour. He took photos of my heater and Al of that. Never called. In the meantime I called other people recommended by friends and family. I was told a pressure switch hardly ever goes out and based on the video it was likely the ignitor switch which I thought as well. And I had also told him this. Jacob also left the tube he put in his mouth lose so the next guy showed me where it was just hanging. He also never called or contacted me, about the repairs and I called out another pro who told it was the ignitor, and he fixed it and the heat is working again. I felt it in my heart that he didn't diagnose it correctly. He moved way to fast and didn't explain anything at all. Just popped Doors ona nd off and popped things in his mouth. I wouldn't recommend them at all but if you use them be sure to get some type of guarantee. read more

I was given a much more expensive estimate for the same job from a competitor (installing 3 mini splits on my second floor). Air masters did the work efficiently. They had to come back in the summer to add Freon because the units weren't cooling properly. Working well now. Definitely recommending them! read more

We got an estimate on the installation of safety switches on our attic AC unit - and Airmasters did it for the 1/3 of the cost (clearly we were upsold). The owner even came out at the end of the shift to correct an issue with our Nest themostat for free. Very happy with the service. read more

They never called to confirm any appointments, just showed up randomly without advance notice. The guy double parked in the middle of the street, ran in, then left before making sure everything worked. We had to deal with the same thing all over again for a second repair. Again, absolutely zero communication ahead of time to make sure someone would be home. read more

These guys are amazing! I found paper in the air filter slot of my new house in the evening and was desperate to get some answers. Another company had shrugged me off and told me to call the next day. In calling Air Masters HVAC Inc they stayed on the phone with me that night for over 20 minutes walking me through what I could do myself. After diagnosing the issue via photo / text Jacob determined it would be better for him to come see for himself. He gave me very clear instructions on what I could and could not do with my system before my appointment which I appreciated! He extremely prompt and addressed my issue very quickly. Airmaster is the company to call for your HVAC needs in Philly. Believe it or not, some of the companies that advertise the most here don't even service the city. These guys DO service Philadelphia and I'm glad I called them. Due to a mistake I made while replacing thermostats, I ended up needing my zone board replaced. I called Airmaster on Friday afternoon and Bill arrived pretty quickly to diagnose the problem. He did a very thorough check and explained to me what happened. He sympathized with my situation and said they would be able to fix it. Brett arrived soon after and assisted Bill. Due to it being late on Friday afternoon, they advised it would be fixed first thing Monday morning. At 8:15am on Monday morning I received a call and text from Brett - they had the part, they could be there ASAP and he told me the total cost which was very reasonable for the job. I agreed and Bill arrived shortly thereafter and had my AC system back up and running quickly. He then assisted me with setting up my thermostats and ensuring everything was working properly. Bill went above and beyond to help me and I will gladly refer Airmaster to my friends and family. I signed a service contract with them - it's good to know there are still good people out there that will be there for you quickly and be open, honest and fair. It's good to know contractors you can count on in the city. If you're having any HVAC trouble, call Airmaster. Brett, Bill and the team will take good care of you and they won't stop until the issues are resolved. They are professional, courteous, respectful and they won't try to rip you off. The ac unit at my tenants place was not working. Set two appts w Mashicko and both times he failed to honor. First time he cancelled at 5pm when we had an appt from 3-5pm. The second time he said he'd be there in 2 hours and after 2.5 hours, no response and no show! He actually turned his cell phone off - what kind of business does that? I contacted with these guys through Yelp because my AC was stuck on the hot air setting. They responded within minutes and sent a technician same day... Which was extremely welcome because it was over 90 degrees in Philly that day. The technician showed up on time and got to work immediately. Within minutes he figured out that the thermostat was broken and gave me a few options. Rather then selling me a new thermostat, he recommended I get the existing one replaced under the manufacturer warranty. He could have easily lied or tried to upsell me but he was very honest. He wired up the system to temporarily bypass the thermostat and told me I could turn it on or off via the breaker until the new thermostat arrived. He also showed me how to rewire it once the new thermostat arrived. I'm an engineer so his willingness to solve the problem with me so thoroughly was very appreciated. I own several properties and have to deal with HVAC companies all the time. These guys are top-notch, I highly recommend them! read more

What can be said about The crew at Air masters AC. hottest day of the summer, my central air went out last night. First company told me I had to replace the whole unit. $6300. 2nd call was to Air masters. He came out within an hour on one of the busiest days of his year. Came over and diagnosed my problem, I spent under $300 to fix. Also quoted me if needed to replace, it would be $5400, almost a $1000 less than first company quoted. Never again. The capacitor on my A/C unit went bad right as a heatwave began. I called around trying to find someone that could come out that day. Air Masters was the only company to not only go out of their way to accommodate my emergency need but also gave me a price over the phone. On top of that, they actually accepted credit card for payment and took my payment right on the spot. Called to find out if someone can come out for an estimate for a new HVAC system. The representative stated there was a special to replace furnace and AC unit. When I called the first time I stated I would think about it. I gave the representative a guess of my current AC unit specs and brand name. The representative quoted me a price and stated a technician would be able to come out the next morning to check everything and we could go from there. I said I would think about it and call back. I called back within an hour and stated I would need someone to come out and look at everything to see if the price she quoted fit my needs. She stated she would need a 50% deposit first which was in complete contradiction of what she stated the first time I called. I tried to see if that was noted anywhere on their website and it was not. I said "Thank you. Have a nice day." Someone else called me right back from the company and apologized for the misinformation and stated someone would be at my home from 2-6 pm.. My youngest and I waited from 2-6. Cancelled outdoor plans with my daughter for a no call, no show.. Bad business! read more

Despite the minor delays due to the holiday weekend, Air Masters HVAC was very responsive. Our AC broke down in the middle of a heatwave over the July 4th weekend.
