We never have water in the trunk and the mats were wet on the underside, causing condensation to build on the underside of our Weather Tech mats. I was having to use our home carpet cleaner to clean and suck up the water. It was enough water to fill a 5 gallon bucket. I finally had enough and contacted Chrysler Cares and I was directed to call my local dealership. Future Dodge absolutely refused to look at the vehicle and have lost me as a customer. When I called Vacaville, they said come in first thing tomorrow morning and we will take a look! My service representative was Nick L. He was friendly, very helpful and regularly kept me up to date on what was going on the with vehicle. When I ended up needing a rental car, he helped me find the closest place and helped remove all the car seats in my vehicle when I needed to load them into the rental. Nick went above and beyond in every aspect. My vehicle ended up needing to stay in the shop for 5 day and upon return, Nick was there to finish out the job and make sure that I was a satisfied customer. We need more people like Nick. I will definitely be back if I need an oil change or other service! Thank you!

Many of the car salesmen I interacted her were conniving and couldn't tell the truth to save their lives. The male assisting me with choosing and purchasing my car here was no exception. The Carfax report that he showed me of the vehicle I purchased was fabricated, as I recently found out. After purchasing the vehicle, he said he was going to have people "detail" my car before driving it home. The detail consists of them putting crumpled trash in my center console and wiping (what appears to be) grease all over the entertainment area. The male assisting me also pretended to "assist" me with getting car mats, but he never followed up no matter how many times I contacted him. Overall, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I'm sure things have changed in 5 years, and there may be a strong possibility that those same workers I dealt with aren't there anymore; however, after such a bad experience with them, I will not come here ever again. 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

Not only that they made sure to make sure my car was pristine and I was happy with it before driving off. MALEEK IS THE MAN TO GO TO! He not only fights for his people to get them the deal they are looking for he gets on his hands and knees in his suit attire to polish your car to make sure you leave happy in your new ride. They are VERY ethical, AND they are NOT pushy! THIS IS THE TYPE OF MEN I WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Make sure you go see Maleek for a car he has YOUR BACK! After a lot of back…read morein forth, we settled on a price I was comfortable with and I came in to test drive the car. When inspecting the car, I noticed how unkept it was. Mounds of sand in the front truck, the storage tunnel had drawings made with crayons on it. Just unkept and filthy everywhere. I test drove the car and noticed it had a slight pull to the left, which made me question the vehicles history, and asked for a full report. The car had an open recall, and when I asked the manager about fixing it, he tried to sell me on how they sell cars with recalls all the time and took no ownership over the issue. He stated that because Rivian has a slower turnaround time, that they refused contacting them about the truck I was interested in. Basically putting the issue on me. They clearly didn't recondition the car. Rushed it to market, and haven't invested anything into it. The sales rep was fine - more of a yes man - even agreeing with me on things I found questionable. The sales manager - Mike - refused to take ownership of anything and offerd no solutions to valid questions/issues.

What I really appreciated was how he explained things about my car in plain, easy-to-understand terms. Instead of using a lot of technical language, he made sure I actually understood what was going on and answered every question I had without making me feel rushed. He also went out of his way to point me in the right direction for other things I needed help with regarding my car, connecting me with the right people at the dealership. Overall, Daniel made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I would definitely come back to this location again just because of the great service he provided.

From the moment they looked at my vehicle, it was clear they actually knew what they were doing. Volkswagen of Vacaville determined that every single issue WAS covered under my warranty. No upselling, no scare tactics, no inflated labor stories--just honesty and competence. Chris, my service advisor, was phenomenal. He communicated clearly, kept me informed every step of the way, and treated me with respect instead of brushing me off. Nick, the foreman mechanic, went above and beyond to thoroughly inspect the car and explain what was actually needed (and what wasn't). I also want to recognize Jennifer, the service manager, who was involved behind the scenes the entire time. Even though she wasn't always front and center, her leadership and advocacy were obvious throughout the process. She ensured everything was handled correctly and professionally, and her involvement truly made a difference. The difference between this dealership and the previous one was night and day. Volkswagen of Vacaville saved me thousands of dollars and a massive amount of stress. If you want a dealership that is ethical, knowledgeable, and truly advocates for their customers, this is the place. I cannot express enough gratitude to Chris, Nick, Jennifer, and the entire team. They charge me on a ac inspection which was covered under warranty and made every excuse to not follow up or inform of a so called problem with their ac machine part not sure if there was ever a problem with the ac machine. They showed little to no concern and had no answers on resolving this problem. I would advice anyone needing VW repair to stay away from this dealership for all maintenance. I only gave them one star but in reality it should be a negative figure for their rating. Useless is the only word I can think of for this maintenance department.

    **READ BEFORE SERVICING YOUR VEHICLE HERE**…read more My fiancé has a 2018 CRV that has had something wrong with the AC for the past 3 years. Mind you, she purchased this in Napa; however, lives in Vacaville. Honda has had a service bulletin/recall regarding a seal that needs to be replaced as it has caused several AC's to blow hot air or make the AC perform very intermittently. Service bulletins/recall alerts for any parts are 100% covered by the dealership and through Honda. When a customer comes in requesting the recall service to be performed, they should never be charged for inspections. If during the service appointment the department finds the source of the issue is not with the recalled part, the customer should still never be charged for the inspection unless this is discussed ahead of time and agreed upon. In looking at the past reviews and from my fiancé's experience the past few years, it seems Vacaville Honda's service department is running unethical practices that prey on customers who may not understand their rights, more specifically if they are women. She had taken the car for the recall to Vacaville Honda on two occasions in different years, trusting they would take care of the issue and do proper servicing in regards to what was stated in the bulletin. Twice, they not only charged her for inspections (to the tune of $250+ each time) but both times they stated the issue was not with the recalled part. This past visit back in August, they tried to quote her for a full AC replacement for $7000. Just recently, she and I had a discussion about her car's AC and we dug a little deeper into her experiences. After reviewing the documentation and service bulletin, and after diagnosing where the problem really was, I contacted a different Honda service department to perform the service regarding the recalled part, free of charge (as outlined in the actual service bulletin). Not only was the recalled part the issue that fixed her ongoing AC problems, but it was literally a 2 hour job that should have been handled correctly the past two times she went to Vacaville Honda. As her partner, I'm infuriated a company would put her through this and having to endure over 100 degree weather each summer because she couldn't afford $7000 to "fix" the problem. As a human being, I'm completely baffled how this unethical practice has been allowed to go on with multiple customers at this location. If you are a customer here with their service department, I would encourage you to read up on your rights for recalled parts and service bulletins. I would also encourage you to seek second opinions for anything they state "needs to be replaced". After collecting the documentation of her experiences, I will be taking this higher and will absolutely be reaching out to reviewers who have had the same experience. This should never be happening, especially at a dealership, and the service department as a whole should be held accountable for their unethical practices. Happy to be a resource for anyone who has had similar experiences.
