I have a coworker that purchased a Truck at Napa Ford in June 2025. He went to DMV on Thursday last week to find out why he hasn't received his new plates and registration yet. He was informed that the truck is still in the previous owners name. Tried to call Napa Ford but all lines have full mailboxes. After looking on the internet it is apparent that Napa Ford is Closed and has filed Bankruptcy. Now how many customers in the past 3-4 months has this happened to???? I will never use or recommend Napa Ford to anyone after what they just did to me! This has to be one of the worst actions I have ever experienced with a dealership. My truck broke down. I called them and explained. I then had my truck towed from Vallejo to Napa which isn't free. It was there for 4 days with very very little communication, and then when I did talk to them, they said I have to come pick up my truck because it was out of gas and they can't service it like that. I said can't you just put gas in it for me. I am in Vallejo and just had surgery. The guy tells me he can't because they sold the dealership and are starting everything over and computers and some BS story. Well, isn't that something you think was pretty important to tell me when I called prior that the dealership was going to implode at the end of the week? I asked some questions of this and that, and all I kept getting was no and no and no. Now take it, I am in Vallejo and can't walk or drive from surgery and this guy says there is nothing we can do for you, your truck is out of gas, and left it locked with the keys in it on their lot while I scrambled to get two people to get to Napa and retrieve my truck. What a way to open a new dealership! I could have been your first happy customer with a big job for your service department! And to find out this was Hanlees that bought and took over this dealership doesn't sit well with me. The are a huge corporation, and to treat me like this, then why wouldn't they treat all the little people like this. It's unfortunately one of those businesses that I wish I could give -5 stars. And a business that should be out of business with the lack of integrity by the General Manager & partner, Peter Hanes. My car's serpentine belt needed to get replaced, and this place came in recommended. I had called with the type of vehicle and how old it was (older than 2000). I mentioned this over the phone, and again to another person when I called back saying that I would need to get it towed over since the battery was not holding a charge. It got towed over, and they were quick, so I really appreciated that. Shortly, someone from Ford says they have a policy in place that if the vehicle is over 10 years old, and over 150,000 miles, they can't do anything. --- Why was this not disclosed to me on the phone before paying to bring it over?? I then had to call the tow company again to get it towed to another nearby auto shop that said would take it in after I gave all the same info. Which meant paying for another tow. When I finally got back home, I called to speak to the manager about this, and Peter Hanes called me. I told him exactly what I stated. He then said they could have serviced the vehicle, it just would have taken a lot longer, such as as maybe 2 or even 3 weeks. He would talk to the people about this and gave an apology, but would not be reimbursing me for their mistakes. That, and if I ever spoke to corporate that they would back his decision to not reimburse me if I ever went to them. So I was given improper information on all levels, and he said it was a bad mistake that I had to pay for on my end. I'm NEVER buying a FORD after this experience, especially with people like him. read more

Reminder... They charged me $600 for diagnostic services and found nothing wrong with the vehicle. I told them exactly where the noise was coming from and when it made the noise.so my only assumption can be they said they ran diagnostics and did not, since it is still making the noise. Also, ironically, I started having transmission issues after I took it in for maintenance. After they emailed me and left messages about the new Escapes. This had to be the most pleasant and non-stressful experience in purchasing our 2025 F350 truck. From the phone etiquette down to driving out the driveway with a new truck. I wanted to purchase this vehicle locally but was skeptical from a negative experience I had 20 years ago just before Kevin Massie purchased the dealership. Having a career in the automotive service business I knew when I was being mislead and walked away 20 years ago from the previous owners in Napa.. I've had several friends that have and still are working for Kevin at Napa Ford and said I should I should give him a call and explain my experience from the past. Kevin assured me that is not how he operates. We talked and he asked if he could put me on a three way call with Danny in sales, I agreed and from there through the whole purchase, dealing with Sean in sales management and Francisco on the sales floor. It was just a as pleasant and easy purchase. I've worked directly for a dealership, used car lots and privately owned businesses and was well informed of sales strategies to entice the customer to buy. I have to say none of that existed at Napa Ford. Walk in, and you're greeted and upon your direction you will then be shown on what you came into see along helping educate you on what options you have and the vehicle can be equipped with. I went yesterday to look to buy a car for my husband. I'm yelping because it was so hot in the show room where the cars are. I seen a guy in the front looking like he was about to pass out poor guy. I could not even concentrate on looking to buy a car I just chose to leave. I asked them can they turn on the AC and they told me they will see what they can do and I think they lied to me and never turned it on. We took our Ford truck for an oil Change, and we had excellent customer service. We asked If they have a shuttle and they said No, but we can order you a lift. AMAZING! Lift was there in 2mins drop us off for breakfast. When we finished having breakfast, we called them Napa Ford, and they ordered us a lift and took us back. The only thing I don't like about Ford is that they won't wash your car. I appreciate the gentleman that is new working there that he even went to ask. These folks really have their stuff together. After a failed negotiation with another Bay Area Ford dealer on a Mach 1, Napa Ford was able to get us a deal below MSRP with a fair trade. Paulina was our sales associate and did an outstanding job of seeing all aspects of the deal through. She spent most of the day with us, was fun to talk with, and really seemed to enjoy her work. Victor in finance was straightforward, helpful and a pleasure to talk with as well. Finally, Kevin, the owner, was so approachable and fun that it was hours before we learned he was the owner. Kevin's attitude toward his business, and his customers, obviously impacts the team. Overall, this was the best car being experience I've ever had. And this was not my first rodeo. Napa Ford - 2022 Mach 1 - Car Dealers Near Me - Napa, California

There was a CPO Mach E GT posted for sale with 361 miles on 1/24. I make an appt for a test drive and it turns out the car has 2100 miles when I show up. I asked about the mileage difference and the sales manager, Danny informs me that the owner of the dealership, Kevin has been driving the car daily for leisure. Back to the car. They had it listed as a Ford blue advantage certified pre owned vehicle. However, Danny Informs me that the car can't sell as CPO until inspection is completed. At that point I communicated with them to get the car inspected so they can actually sell it and I would be back the next day or two with my wife. They told me they will do everything to get it ready next day. The very next morning I follow up to confirm that I will be there next morning (1/26) and have the car ready. Surprise! somehow the car has been sold. I follow up and ask how is that possible and no explanation. So either I've been lied to about the actual inspection or they make up stuff and play by their own rules. In summary, the business from the top down is not transparent and is extremely deceitful. I would expect this kind of behavior from someone on craigslist trying to flip a car and make a quick sale, but not Ford Lincoln Napa. Congrats Kevin. The style of business you run single-handedly ruined the Ford dealership brand and customer experience. I hope you made it to this part of my story, you have been warned. I have had nothing but issues and lies from this dealership. I purchased a car in July of 2024 and have been dealing with them to get a formed signed so I can get my registration fee back. I told them when I purchased the car that I was a disabled vet and didn't have to pay registration. The person who had me sign the contract told me he knew nothing about that but forward the paperwork. That was in July of last year. I was told to go to the DMV to request a refund which I did. I received a letter from the DMV in Dec stating that the dealership had to fill out Form 256 section G and H. I went into the dealership in Jan and was told the forms would be sent to the DMV. I called the DMV 7 times in less than 4 months they never received the paperwork. Went into the dealership on May 10th and was told it would be taken care of. I called the dealership on the 10th of July and asked to speak to Shawn (not sure of the spelling) and Michael Stone told me he would not be in till later that day and asked me what he could help me with. He told me I had to go to the DMV when I explained why I was calling. I explained to him I had already been to the DMV and had called them numerous times, and they never received the paperwork. He told me on the phone that Nana (not sure of the spelling) had been in contact with me, which never happened. I never received a text or an email or anything. He told me I had no right to be angry with the dealership. He asked me to text him the letter that the DMV sent me that I did twice. He also asked me to email him the letter. I did that also. He told me via text that he had the forms filled out on 7/16. I don't live in the area, so I asked my mom to go pick up the forms which she did today the 17th of July and was told by him that the forms were not filled out. He also told my mother I had no right to be angry with the dealership. I have all of this documented and must send the paperwork back into the DMV after I pick it up from my parents' house. I do not appreciate being told that the forms were ready and they weren't. I have had nothing but issues and really don't appreciate it. Oh, I want to add I have been paying interest on the $468.75 that should have been refunded by the DMV with the forms from the dealership last year. read more

I am writing this review to express my deep appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding treatment I received from Napa Ford in purchasing my new 2024 Maverick XLT hybrid pickup I bought from them in February 2024. Sean Atkinson, the Sales Manager, is to be commended for his extensive time and work in obtaining an extra $3400.00 private offer from Ford to apply to the purchase price of the truck. I am a 55 year loyal Ford customer, having owned and driven an 850,000 mile '68 Mustang, which was the only car I owned and drove for 50 years. My car received considerable media attention and publicity due to its special and unique history, including a letter of commendation from Bill Ford, Jr. Unfortunately, my beloved "Blue Beast" was demolished in an accident in 2017, and I have been driving an '89 Ford Ranger that belonged to my mechanic since then until I decided what vehicle to buy to replace it. After considerable thought and research, I decided I wanted to purchase a Maverick hybrid truck because of its high mpg and contacted Napa Ford to place an order for the Maverick. To my surprise, Sean had an opening for an order. With the high demand for this hybrid truck, buyers have been waiting 1 - 2 years for their truck to be built and delivered. Buyers whose orders were rolled over from 22 to 23 to 24 received private offers from Ford to compensate for the increased cost of the 24 model. Buyers who originally ordered a 22 model were to receive two private offers as follows: $2750.00 for the 22 model, and $3400.00 for the 23 model. I only received the $2750.00 rebate, and contacted Sean to inquire as to why I had not received the additional $3400.00 rebate. Sean worked tirelessly for two months to try to get the extra $3400.00 added to my account and was finally successful in doing so just before the truck was delivered to their dealership. These two rebates totaled $6150.00 that made a significant difference in reducing the purchase price of the truck. I would not have been able to buy the Maverick without those two rebates since I was paying for my truck with the insurance settlement I received after the accident. And, to top it off, my salesperson, Dina Chavez, personally delivered my Maverick to me on February 16, 2024, and spent two hours giving me a tutorial on everything I needed to know about driving the truck which is entirely different from my Mustang and Ranger to which I was not accustomed. In conclusion, I am now the proud owner of a beautiful new blue Maverick which I look forward to driving and doing some traveling to national parks this summer while I am still in good physical health. This is only the second new vehicle I have ever bought in 55 years, and I waited six years after the accident with my Mustang to finally decide what vehicle to buy to replace it. I owe a debt of gratitude to both Sean and Dina for everything they did to make this buying experience a positive one. I highly recommend Napa Ford to anyone who is considering purchasing a new vehicle. Not all car dealerships are created equal, and they are first-rate for their professional, courteous, and respectful treatment of customers and will go over and above the norm to provide a satisfying experience both before and after the sale. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Napa Ford today. I am having a supercharger put on the ol' Saleen and needed some information off the PCM unit that I did not want to deal with. I went to one place and they told me they would have to pull the computer and this and that. I know, thanks to the internet, that is not the proper procedure. The information is located right behind a kick panel in the front. I thought I would try the dealership although I have always thought that the dealership always charges more. I was wrong. i went in and they were SUPER busy. Within two minutes the really nice guy at the counter had someone helping me. All he did was punch the VIN into the supercomputer and, Voila! I was in and out in 15 mins and no charge to boot! I can't say everything is free but that was alot less than the 150 I allotted for. Thank you guys for a very painless visit. read more

I traded in my BMW 5 series plug in and looking for an all electric vehicle. Obviously we all look at the Tesla when considering but after driving one and driving the mache my wife loved the Mache. Great design, luxurious and so many features. We got the extended range premium and with the ford pass can do everything the 100,000 Tesla can do at half the cost. I can truly say this was my favorite car of all the cars I've had. Want a new car come see Kevin Massie and his sales team. Before the day was out, I had made a purchase I felt good about, as well as a warranty and financing. I walked in set on a third-party warranty, but after Rick carefully explained the costs and benefits of both approaches, I was able to make an informed decision. At every stage of my exploration and purchase, I was treated with respect and care by every person at the dealership. There appeared to be an easy synergy to the team here, and it created a casual yet entirely professional vibe that put me at ease. Discussed the process, helped us see what lenders were offering the best interest rates, and walked us through the truck. Talked through the extra packages that were already in the truck helping us to learn about the trucks capabilities. He never tried to pressure us into buying or looking at other vehicles. After we bought it he went above and beyond and helped load car seats in the new truck, as well as entertained the kids while we got them secure. He went above and beyond, most people are just about the sale but Robert did more than that, I can't recommend him enough. read more

I would not recommend ordering a vehicle from this dealership; I can not speak on visiting the dealership in person. I was sold a vehicle that was claimed as brand new condition, but when I received the vehicle at my house it was not in brand new condition. The vehicle came with multiple scratches on the body and wheels. The driver who picked up my vehicle documented all of the damage and had it signed by the sales manager before loading the vehicle on his enclosed trailer. When I contacted the sales manager who signed off on the car with damages, he told me that the car was in perfect condition before it left the lot. He also told me that I would need to deal directly with the transport company regarding any vehicle damage. Once I told him that the document had his signature on it and that I had my attorney on standby, he immediately changed his attitude and asked me to send photos of the damage. I sent him photos of the damage, and the following day he told me that his body shop could take care of everything for $450. I told my body shop what he stated, and they laughed at me; they told me just from looking at the vehicle in person that it would cost well over $3,000 to repair the vehicle, I now have the estimate, and it is at $6,900. I live five and a half hours away from the dealership, and the sales manager suggested I bring the vehicle back so that he could fix it for $450. The sales manager is conveniently on a 10-day vacation now, so I do not have a point of contact; I contacted the CEO and have not heard back from him. Keep in mind that I put down $36,500 on this car. My intention was and is to keep this vehicle long term hence the down payment. I will give them some time to respond to me; if I do not hear back from anyone, I will allow my attorney to handle it. read more
