This is probably the BEST place to get imaging... in the greater Seattle area. The staff were well organized and check in process was flawless. The BEST part of this experience, the staff allowed me to be with my husband during his MRI, yes, you read that correctly. I was able to get into scrubs and go into the room where the MRI machine was, so my husband could feel more at ease, knowing I was there. I bet, because of this, RAYUS probably has a higher completion percentage than any other imaging place in the area. So empathetic and aware of understanding of different patients situations with imaging. 10/10 is what I would say about RAYUS... oh and one more thing.... We had the MRI done at like 930, I think, AND we had the final results by the afternoon!!!! Unheard of, I know. Anyway, I highly recommend RAYUS for all your imaging needs!!!!! read more

RAYUS Radiology - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

TL;DR: Staff were wonderful and turnaround time for receiving imaging was quick. However, after paying my final invoice, RAYUS sent me a revised bill, increasing the cost by nearly $100 without any explanation. The phone number they say to text and the email they say to contact did not work, and it was only after posting this review that they contacted me to explain what had happened. I would not recommend RAYUS Radiology. --- I booked my appointment for a Saturday, which was the first available, and very handy to avoid cutting into the work week. The receptionist at this location was very nice and got me checked in very quickly. The technician took me back, got me prepped, and into the machine immediately. I had been scheduled for two scans back-to-back, and each one took 30 minutes with a break in between. The processing of my imaging took place Monday, and my doctor received the images on Tuesday. I was very impressed with this turnaround time. About 3 weeks after the appointment, I received a bill which was about what I expected (perhaps a bit on the high end), and I paid it within 24 hours. Had my journey ended here, this would be a 5-star review. However, a little over a month later, I received a second bill, which basically negated the charge I had already paid, and then replaced it with an identical service (same ID and everything) but with a different provider last name and a cost increase of $99.91. Rayus made no effort to explain why this change occurred, and quite frankly, it makes no sense. If you ate at a restaurant, paid for your food, and then were contacted by the restaurant two weeks later, telling you that they wanted to charge you more, would that not be absurd? I later received a text messages from RAYUS, threatening me with collections as they had been unable to send me a bill "due to an inaccurate address" (which makes no sense... I received the bill), and saying, "To update your address and prevent further collection efforts please respond to this message." I responded to the message over a week ago and have not heard back. A few days later, they sent me an email from CustomerService@rayusradiology.com with the same message, "[T]o update your address and prevent further collection efforts please reply to this message." I replied to that message, and got a postmaster error that the email could not be delivered. Just, overall, a horrible experience post-appointment. I paid what was requested of me, and then was charged more for no reason. Then, when I try to figure out why, I get completely ghosted. Will never come back here, and would advise others to avoid it as well. Update: RAYUS did eventually reach out to me after I posted this review to explain the charges, and they were justified, so I have revised my rating from 2 stars to 3. I am a physician writing to warn the community. This facility exposes patients to significant financial risk. A patient under my care required a medically necessary CT to rule out serious pancreatic and hepatobiliary disease. Despite having insurance, the facility required approximately $1,500 upfront, failed to coordinate with insurance, and repeatedly denied requests for a superbill needed for claim submission. Every staff member we spoke with insisted that the patient had signed paperwork waiving the right to submit to insurance. When we obtained the actual documents, that waiver was not signed. Misrepresenting this is ethically wrong and prevented the patient from exercising their legal rights. These practices appear to violate Washington State balance billing protections (RCW 48.43.510 et seq.), which prevent providers from demanding full payment for covered services when insurance exists, as well as patient access to billing documentation (RCW 70.02.050). They are also inconsistent with federal protections under the No Surprises Act, which are designed to prevent unexpected charges for insured patients. The facility prioritized institutional self-protection over patient care. Arrived 3:45pm to get a x-ray. Toke 20 minutes to enter my information (I was only one there), then told me the tech have to leave at 4pm, so had to schedule for next day. Come took the x-ray the next day. 6 days after taking a simple foot x-ray still can't get them to share the image or result, that includes daily phone calls. Told me it was sent to my health care provider, which it wasn't. Still waiting. I told my health care provider she shouldn't be sending people to this incompetent, unprofessional establishment. read more

I took my mother to Rayus for an MRI on her back, she is suffering from back pain. The ladies took good care with her during the procedure. 13 days later we still had not heard from the doctor that ordered the MRI. I understand the doctors are busy but I called his office to let him know she is in pain and why haven't we heard from him. The doctors office had not received any info from Rayus about my Mother's MRI. Called Rayus to find out what the office procedure is for informing doctors after a procedure is done, and was told it is automatic that the doctors are informed 48 hours after a procedure. Somebody at Rayus dropped the ball with my Mother's info and let her suffer with her pain an additional 10 days. Never will we use their services again, and I will not recommend them nor trust them ever. read more

These clowns canceled on me; not once but twice...and at the last minute. The first time was some fabricated reason blaming the insurance company for not pre-approving, but also, Rayus never reached out to me to see if maybe I could look into it and make some calls; they just canceled the day before. Then, they had temerity to push my appointment out ONE MONTH! Today, one month later, they canceled (same day as my appointment) on the grounds that their machine was broken. With all the locations they have, and probably all the machines they have, someone in their management staff should have pulled their head out of their ass and done the right thing. BTW, canceling was not the right thing. These morons should not be running a medical business. read more

I was SO impressed with the experience I just had at the Bellevue Rayus Centre and would highly recommend. I recently had a Breast MRI and all of the staff I encountered were incredibly genuine, friendly yet highly professional. I am grateful to Anne who greeted me and supported me through to the imaging. Brian, the technologist was exceptional, very efficient, a true professional who alleviated my nervousness and talked me through the procedure and what to expect. I am extremely grateful to have received a very detailed report by the Doctor, and I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently the report was given. I am now suggesting to my friends to go to RAYUS for their mammograms and any imaging, as I definitely will going forward. read more

Someone in this office needs to learn basic reading and typing skills. I had an appointment in April for an MRI, and after filling out my information and then turning it into the receptionist, s/he screwed up both my mailing address by forgetting a "1", and my email address by typing an "F" instead of an "8". So none of my contact information was correct. And just to be clear, here's how every single medical office works for new customers. 1. I am given a form to fill out with personal information 2. I fill out my information and sign for it 3. I turn it into reception 4. Reception updates my information in their system 4a (RAYUS only). Receptionist doesn't know their numbers and letters, and uses the wrong buttons on their keyboard. So any "you signed for it" excuse doesn't account for reception struggling with their ABC's. As a result, 6 months went by where I didn't receive a bill. The only reason I finally received it was because a letter from a collections agency was rerouted to me. Do you guys know how to read? I have a 5 year-old who knows his numbers and letters better than you. read more

I came here to get an MRI on my knee and was referred here by another doctor elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment on a Saturday at 6pm but was told to check in by 5:30pm so I could have some time to fill out paperwork. What I really liked was that there were weekend appointments so I don't need to take time out of the weekday to come here. The other good thing about having a weekend appointment is that there is plentiful parking! I was seriously one of only like three cars in the lot. The process was pretty smooth and I was out in an hour rather than the expected hour and a half. I filled out paperwork and then went inside to meet the MRI technician who gave me the run down. I changed into the appropriate clothing and laid down on the machine all ready to go. She stressed that I should move as little as possible while under there or else the process would take longer. She said that because it takes roughly 20-30 minutes and there's nothing to do once you get inside people tend to doze off anyway. Overall it took 25 minutes to get to the end and she was right, I did doze off! After it was over I changed back into my clothes and asked how I would get my results. The technician told me to ask the front desk employee to send me a link that would allow me to register to the portal and see my results there. She also said I would see my results in the next 48 hours. I signed up, saw my results, and I'm glad to say that along with this whole thing being as smooth as possible, there was no structural damage in my knee! Lots of good news! read more

I tried to schedule a xray for my daughter in Kirkland as she was hit by a car while walking on a crosswalk. His doctor faxed an order twice and I have called 3 times to follow up. Not only did 3 separate "schedulers" could not remember what her last name is, a common one, DOB, and first name ( I was asked to repeat the information 4 times) but refuses to accept a paper order when I came to a conclusion that maybe it is easier to just hand deliver the order to them. The level of incompetence is mindboggling specially when it is just for a xray. Not even a complicated radiology test. I know the system very well as I work for a major hospital. Though it is not convenient, we will take our business elsewhere. read more

It is so incredibly frustrating to receive a call from this organization so late in the day on a Friday and to call and to schedule a CT for a surgery that has been authorized to be told it had to wait 15 days to schedule (5 days after the scheduled surgery). I requested to speak to someone that was NOT a scheduler as I understand they have their policies and procedures that they must follow, but was told that the supervisor was not near the two schedulers I spoke with. I asked to speak with the insurance department and they said they could not help (??). And I was then told that the supervisor is gone. I have waited 3 years for this surgery and the CT is required for the knee replacement. They refused to place me tentatively on the schedule for next week as well. Rayus has a monopoly on imaging in my state or I would most certainly go somewhere else, simply due to the scheduling/schedulers. read more

The office in Bellevue, WA is amazing. All of the front desk staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and really amazing. If there is a problem or they are running late, the staff is right there giving you updates and checking in on you all the time. The front and back staff will give any extra help they can. Including opening and closing doors, bringing your paperwork to you and returning all your cards and any other paperwork also. The back staff and technicians are very, very knowledgeable. They walk you through ever step of your procedure and help you through out the testing. They are friendly and very helpful. They assist getting you ready for the test and getting you as comfortable as is possible. Highly recommended. read more

I've been here twice, for two MRI's. Both times, I was seen promptly and treated respectfully. THis last time, I called the office daily for a while, waiting for my insurance's preauthorization to come through (dang those insurance companies can take a while with this sort of thing! NOT helpful, when one is in pain). The guy who answered the phone each morning was super nice and, after a while, we were on a first name basis. He never talked to me as if I were harassing him, with my daily calls (as others might have). The techs there were quick to help me out (with my mobility issues - due to back pain - I did need assistance a few times), and were all very nice. I never had any issues with billing or my dr getting the results quickly. Plus, it's really helpful that they have some extended, late-night hours, too, and also start super early in the mornings. All in all, my experiences here have been great. read more

The receptionists and MRI techs were exceedingly pleasant, which is the reason this isn't two stars. Unfortunately, the Rayus billing department was the rudest I've ever spoken with .....or should I say TRIED to speak with. The supervisor, Katie, was mind-numbingly petulant, defensive, and wholly unapologetic. They sent my bill to an address where I hadn't lived in three years.....even though the receptionist changed my address when I arrived for my MRI. Fortunately, the woman at my old address knew me and eventually forwarded the bill to me. When I called about receiving my bill ONE MONTH LATE, Katie insisted they did NOTHING wrong.....that their system updated AFTER my visit and that's just they way they do it. She insolently and continually TALKED OVER ME, not permitting me to speak while she bulldozed her justification of their mailing error, blaming it on me!........that they "naturally" used the address from the last time I used Rayus! And she's a supervisor? She is their employees' role model? Good luck with that! One more point: Rayus has ZERO accommodation for someone with hearing impairment, which I have. They should provide clear masks when they have such patients (Wells Fargo bank does.......not even a medical facility!), and they should have a manner of communicating with the patient in the MRI. It was impossible to understand any voice communication without my hearing aids and because of the muffled headphones, so there should be some simple tapping communication for the MRI timing stages. If I were blind, I believe they would part the waters to help, but with hearing impairment, it was like, "Oh, well," Not even basic ADA help even though the tech was kind and apologetic about his inability to communicate with me in the MRI. Basic ADA training would solve most of this. My athletic teenage grandchildren are hearing impaired. If they needed MRIs, would Rayus ignore their hearing needs, too? And imagine all the older people with broken bones needing MRIs..... and their hearing-impaired needs being ignored. I trust that Rayus can certainly do better. read more

Updating my previous review from 1 star to 4. The front office got back to me and told me there is a new policy in place which requires the team to fully investigate any metal in a persons body before doing imaging. It makes sense because you (and others) could be seriously harmed if things weren't done properly. The team was very nice and apologized to me way more than needed, but I do appreciate them reaching out. I still wish I'd been informed of the change when I showed up and had my appointment cancelled because it would have saved me a lot of stress right before the holidays and I'd taken off work to get this done. Luckily, I was able to work with them and I had my MRI done on Monday. Everyone was great and it all went well aside from the fact it was the warmest MRI I've ever had. Usually I'm freezing cold during these things but today I felt like I was cooked like a turkey. Not sure if that's just due to the procedure or something else but hey, it's over now. read more

I haven't had a very good experience with these guys. Even though the staff is good and friendly they didn't care to read the instructions given by the doctor. The doc recommended 3 scans but they only did 2. despite me specifically calling out that the doc wanted one scan in a sitting position, they did not do it. read more

The staff was amazing! I didnt understand that my procedure would require me to lay down immediately after it. My ride would not be arriving for two hours due to other issues. Rather than having to reschedule and waste an entire morning, they were able to squeeze me in between other patients to complete the scan just before my ride arrived. The tech who did the scan even delayed her lunch break to perform the procedure! Everyone was so nice and caring, would come out into the waiting area to sit down and discuss things with me, instead of just calling me up the counter. The doctor who did the dye injection into the spinal area, was awesome, such a calming demeanor, really helped with my discomfort and anxiety! The entire staff treated me like they were caring for a family member!!! Thank you so much. The only suggestion I would make concerns their signage out front on the street. Very difficult to notice if you have not been there before, We drove past it the first time. read more

This place consistently screwed up our schedule twice. The scheduler is known to get you in early and wait for at least 45 minutes. If you have an agreed appointment at 2 pm, expect the checkin time to be 2:15 and actual start time to be 2:45. Their automatic phone reminder system is also very flawed. It never asks you to confirm whether you heard the appointment time or not and hangs up itself after speaking a few quick sentences. Now as my wife and I both heard clearly the appointment time and complained to the receptionist, she kept on repeating that it's what's scheduled and when I told her to feedback about their automatic phone operating system, she did nothing. This is what I felt was terrible service and not listening to customer feedback, so I post here so you can be warned about this place's practices. There's nothing wrong with this place's imaging or medical staffs though. read more

Worst place. My appointment was at 2:30 PM and its been almost an hour since I checked in. Not sure what the hell is happening. I hate when I am given an apointment and I make it on time, but, no one attends or even communicates to let me know what to expect. I notice this at several medical facilities. Called on a Wednesday (3:03pm) to obtain the results of my recent MRI as it was going to take almost 2 weeks before I could get in to see my ortho surgeon. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to talk to anyone because after being on hold for 21 minutes and 27 seconds, I hung up. My doctor asked for a comparison between two MRIs done at this center and they are dragging it for more than one week saying they do not have the request from the doctor. finally I had to take the doctor's request in person and they assured me they have it. It is utter disappointment from the staff of CDI. I booked an appointment for ultra sound for my neck as recommended by my physician. They have been asking me if I can pinpoint the location and my answer is top right of the neck. They the same question for 3-4 times and I have been giving them the same answer. At the end, they have cancelled the appointment stating that they can't do as this is not specific answer for ultrasound. This is so pathetic that they cancelled it a day before and have wasted my time. Please train the staff better to have clarity in thoughts and questions. I would not recommend this centre to anyone. read more

I have had to call in and make an appointment with this place 2 times. Both times I've called in at least 3 times in a day and each time I get stuck in a loop of "all associates are busy at this time" FOR 15 MINUTES. Every single time. It's absolutely ridiculous. They need to have better phone support or coverage. 15 minutes waits is ludicrous and I refuse to continue to attend an imaging center who can't even answer a phone call. read more

We have only been to the Northgate office, but both of us have had great experiences in not-so great situations. Things are generally not good when you need an MRI, but these folks make it easy and convenient. Neither one of us were particularly freaked out by the MRI but everyone there (at least the Northgate crew) is super helpful and friendly. Was told by their billing department that they charge different amounts for self-pay versus insurance. Was quoted one amount. Insurance was billed for significantly more. Did not realized that this is a standard practice in healthcare. Front desk staff seemed rushed and rude. The doctor I saw and technicians were great. read more

I've had lots of imaging done on my back over the years. This CDI location has terrific staff. The woman at reception was friendly, and went out of her way to bring my requested imaging copy out to the car so I didn't have to stay in the waiting room (i was supposed to lay flat and she didn't want me waiting). My technician (wish I had her name) was so positive and efficient. She put me at ease. HIGHLY recommend Dr Singh. He thoroughly explained the procedure as he went along and more importantly was really good. read more

Came here for an MRI last week, the last appointment at 9pm. The ease of getting an appointment is what I liked the best, I called up the morning and they had one last slot I could be squeezed in for which worked awesome for me. The front desk staff was amicable and polite and was able to answer all my questions. The radiologist made me comfortable as I was a little skeptical for my first MRI and I was done within 30 mins. They were also quick to send me a copy of my results with no additional follow ups. Only advice to inform the patients that they have to pay for the test up front. I think this is a new process for them and they were okay if I would pay later online, but if that's what's needed, then let the patients know. read more

I've had 6 imaging procedures over the last 10 years and each time has been an excellent experience. I've been to the Northgate, Kirkland and Bellevue offices. It's easy to book an appointment, the appointment runs on time, the technicians are wonderful and the results are easy to view on the portal. I only wish that radiologists would talk to patients if there are abnormal findings but have been told that doesn't happen. read more

Heather @ CDI is so very helpful! She helped me get an MRI the same day with insurance approval! She is also very kind and funny! The only issue I have is that it takes 10 days to post my report onto my account. I called records and asked why my doctor can see it but I can't. Isn't it my body? Didn't I pay for the MRI? I should have the same rights as my doctor and be able to read the report so that I can ask questions at my appointment. By not giving me the information I'm unable to effectively advocate for myself. I would like to see this policy changed. read more
