I wish they had a "less than 1 star"! Trying to make an appt. for about 40 minutes so far. First 30 minutes, I wait on hold. Then someone answers and asks to help me. I felt a rush of relief! I said I need to make an appt. She says, "ok, hold please." Now I wait AGAIN on hold going on 10 minutes!!! So far 40 minutes total!!! Can this even be real? This is so pathetic. It's the worst experience even in making an appointment - it had me waiting for 15-20 minutes to even talk to someone. They didn't have online scheduling option or taking the phone number to call back. They didn't show care to people's time and just keep them waiting. Had my follow up visit today, and once again met with the outmost pleasant experience. I give this office a 10 plus. Dr. Acheson knows how to really care about a person and also picks her staff with the same beliefs. A shout out to Trechell who never hurts me! She is the only one that can get the picture the first time with out any discomfort and I have been having mamograms done for years. My experience at CDI - Bellevue has been nothing short of amazing. For such a very private, intimately exposed process, the ladies at CDI make you as comfortable as possible. I had my first ever mammogram here, along with a follow up mammogram, and then the subsequent biopsy after several spots of calcium deposits were detected. They take great care in making you as comfortable as possible, with such a very uncomfortable process. Yes, the squeeze hurts! But they do their best to prepare you. The biopsy was painless, and because everything was explained to me in detail upfront, I wasn't nervous at all. They give you the nitty gritty...they don't sugar coat anything, but that is the best way to be prepared, in my opinion. After biopsy was completed, they bandaged me up real good, and I felt great afterward. Healing process was quick, pain was minimal. Don't look anywhere else for your boobie care, I promise, you'll be glad you went with CDI - Bellevue. The ladies are all fantastic. read more

Had an appointment scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound due to an abnormal mammogram. Scheduled with a "work at home" scheduler with kids screaming in the background. I drove 45 minutes for the soonest available apt (kind of long considering abnormal results imo). I was told at the front desk that someone left me a voicemail to cancel my apt bc the doc would not be there. I have no messages and no call log of anyone ever calling me. I was never called! I ended up wasing almost 2 hours of my day. After standing up front waiting for an answer of when to reschedule, they offered me 2 dates through August that I could not do. Next apt was time in September. I asked if this was normal protocol for an abnormal follow up. Receptionist showed no empathy for lack of phone call/notice and just stared at me when I could not make the 2 apts she offered. I left and called my doc and asked to be referred to bellevue imaging and was scheduled right away. I am a nurse and find this lack of empathy and disorganization unprofessional. At the very least, someone should have called me back when they realized the mistake. I will no longer refer my patients here. I sure hope my next results are negative...will ask for call log from scheduler. read more

if you are in your late 30's or have to go somewhere to get your breasts squeezed through a bunch of medical plates, you should go here!! Not having much experience looking for and scheduling mammograms, and MRI's, I turned to my fellow awesome yelpers! As usual, yelpers were completely reliable and accurate! Yeah!! This practice is five -star and made my whole experience very different from my two previous mammograms where i never even met a single doctor. Instead, in these clinics, I was assaulted by a clearly annoyed and power-tripping "technician" who seemed to take pleasure in maniacally forcing my body into horrid positions. Seriously, Dr. Acheson at Belladonna is the nicest female Dr. I have ever met and her office staff rocked and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Very difficult to get a person online to scheduling an appt. I would not go back again. It shouldn't be so hard to just do a routine mammogram. After my mammogram, CDI need additional images but I had to call them numerous times to try to get another appt. The only have 1 technician and she was out so it's a big hassle. read more

I'm not too happy with my experience at Belladonna. I came for a mammogram, which went fine. The technician was very nice and the process was okay. A week later I received a letter stating my mammogram had "technical issues such as motion or incomplete views". Look, no one wants to come back to do another mammogram if the first one wasn't done properly. Strike one. When I called Belladonna to make another appointment, I was put on hold for over ten minutes before I finally hung up. I tried 3 times in one day to contact the front desk and each time was immediately put on hold. For over 10 minutes. Until I ended the call in frustration. I decided to take my business elsewhere. If they can't be bothered to (1) Do the mammogram correctly in the first place and (2) Put me on hold and not answer that many times, then they don't deserve my time. read more

Terrible terrible terrible. They make you wait forever. I sat for 45 minutes before I finally had flag someone down to ask what is going on. Office staff - rather than immediately apologizing - tried to justify with the lame reason of my "check-in time v. exam time." When that didn't appease and work with me, they then explained that there had been an emergency procedure and it delayed other appointments. Why didn't they just tell me that from the get go and as soon as they learned that it was going to be delayed. My time is money just as their time is important to them. Extremely disappointed. I booked an appointment for a breast scan almost 2 months in advance, and 2 days before the appointment the facility calls to tell me the appointment has been cancelled. I had scheduled the appointment such that my kid does not have to accompany me to the appointment being mindful of their rules that no kids are allowed during Covid times. Of course now the alternative times being suggested coincide with my daughter having to accompany me and I cannot book an appointment in the windows provided since being a single parent I can't leave my kid alone at home to comply with this policy. I had informed them earlier that my kid comes wearing masks and a face shield. Given no option all I could do is cancel the appointment altogether after a wait of such a long time. read more

I hate the write a negative review because the staff and doctor were all so wonderful but my mammogram here was so severely painful that I have been avoiding a follow up mammogram for almost 5 years now and I am at high risk of cancer since I have two immediate family members who have already had it. This was my first mammogram experience and the woman performing it was extremely ruff. I clearly expressed I was in pain and all she did was say sorry and continue to tighten the plates more and more. I was in such severe pain than I couldn't even hold back tears. After Childbirth this is probably one of the worse pains I have ever experienced. I was so relieved when it was finally over but than after viewing the images the woman performing the mammogram came back and said the images were not clear enough on one side and that side would have to be redone. I however want to give a 5 star to the actual doctor because she is a very kind woman, easy to talk to and very thourough. I believe that if I do have any problems that I can feel confident this doctor will not miss it. My advice to this clinic is please ask patients how they are feeling during procedures and offer ways to reduce pain if there is a high level of discomfort. A bad experience can turn people off from seeking preventative treatment in the future. I know I am long overdo for a follow up mammogram but I continue to avoid it due to fear of the pain. read more

Decided to try a new clinic this time. Last time had a biopsy - didn't like waiting so long for results. No problem getting an appointment. Warm, friendly staff got me in and out fast. Got two letters and a phone call to let me know I needed a return visit and why. Two new views reviewed on the spot and I was taken down the hall for ultrasound performed by Dr. A, who explained and showed me what she was seeing. Benign cyst! I don't want to take away from or deny the positive experiences of others, but wanted to point out that this clinic does not have 3-D tomography (the most recent technology). Also makes a terrible first impression with the brusque receptionist who put me on hold twice only to drop the call after a several-minute wait. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I have to think that this receptionist is the last person I'd want to have to deal with if I was going through something difficult. As the other yelpers stated Dr Acheson is AMAZING. The staff is super friendly and make sure that you are treated with 5 star customer service. The little details are what make it great. The robes are all warmed as is the ultrasound gel. All procedures are explained very thoroughly so that you completely understand what is going on. They are prompt with correspondence and results. I was nothing but impressed by the way my situation was handled, so much so that it makes me sad that Dr. Acheson only does breast imaging. I accompanied my wife going there three times. The wait time was ridiculous every single time we were there. They always called my wife in fairly quickly while I waited in their siting area outside. My wife didn't return until 2 or 3 hours later. They made her wait inside all the time except 15-30 minutes of imaging and consultation. Anytime my wife checked with them, they would tell her it would be another 5-10 minutes of wait. After the record breaking 3 hours visit with 2.5 hour wait time, we finally couldn't stand it and complained to the receptionists on our way out. They just said that there was emergency. I was in the sitting area seeing about 6 other patiences arrived after my wife went in and left while my wife was inside the whole time. None of them looked in distress. read more

This was my first mammogram and I was very nervous. The staff was amazing! Friendly greeting right from the start. They give you a nice warm robe when you are about to get started. The lady who did the mammogram was absolutely wonderful. She explained the process before it began. Very friendly and warm personality. My ultrasound was done by the doctor who was explaining what she saw as she went about. All the staff made an uncomfortable appointment, perfectly comfortable. I am grateful all looks well and good! I'm 35 years old and should all stay on the up and up, I will definitely be back when I turn 40. read more

Everyone was incredibly kind, no wait-time, Mona (the tech) was fantastic, and very good about explaining everything as she went along and answered my questions, and Dr. Acheson was excellent, gave me the results immediately. Thanks to the encouraging and warm experience I have had with Belladonna, I was right on time (for a change) in getting my annual mammogram. Thank goodness I did - as I found out I had breast cancer. From the moment I got the dreaded "we need to have you back in for another mamogram" call to the diagnosis could not have been handled better. Dr. Acheson and her staff were amazing in the level of concern for my well being, and getting me through the stages of diagnosis quickly. I was able to have my ultrasound, and then the needle biopsy all performed by Dr. Acheson at her clinic. No long weeks of waiting between steps - which really helped with the anxiety. Once we had the results, I was truly impressed by the amount of time she spent with me, helping me to process all of the information and choices I was facing. What a lovely, compassionate and competent doctor! Her continued follow-up with me as I went through treament was unexpected and really helped. I'm happy to say I've now become a "normal" patient of her clinic once again, and actually look forward to my routine visits. Final note - if you have ever put off your mamograms because of the unpleasantness of the experience - don't. Just change to a doctor like Dr. Achesoon and her clinic. I went to Belladonna at the recommendation of my doctor, and I've had nothing but terrible experiences. Last year, I was there 4 times. I waited 30-60 minutes every time just to get into a room. I ended up having a biopsy. I was in a lot of pain and ended up with a bruised rib. This year, I went back for lack of another place to go. Second chance, right? 30 minutes to get in, exam took 15 minutes, and I waited for the doctor for 30 minutes. Finally, I got dressed and was leaving when I heard chatting and laughing at the front desk. There she was. She didn't even have the decency to call me with my results. No warm robe can make up for wasting my time and terrible care. I'll tell my doctor and insurance company more details. read more

I just wanted to echo the perspective that Dr. Acheson and her staff have created a very pleasant, professional, and friendly office. I too had my phone call answered immediately, got a next day appt, and was seen promptly when I arrived. The staff was friendly and conversational while maintaining professional boundaries. I was impressed at the skill of the technician who did my imaging and was very pleased that Dr Acheson read the images immediately and I had my results before I'd even changed back into my clothes.
