The food was amazing as always but our waitress SUCKED. we ordered drinks and an app. she brought the alcoholic drinks after 15 minutes and seems she forgot the app and the 2 regular drinks. after another 5-10 minutes she brought the rest of the drinks and took a while for the app to come (don't know if she forgot again). we ordered our food at this time. then when the food was brought out she forgot one of our meals (kids meal) completely. she didn't even notice and went off before we could tell her. when she came back, we told her and she said "oh let me check on that." the time it took for her to bring it - she DEFINITELY forgot to put it in. she asked us if we were ready for the check twice. kept walking past us over and over after we were ready to go. Mind you-this was 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead. I guess it was OUR BAD for expecting our server to be sober on shift. it was 4/20 also. This is a poorly managed restaurant. I feel bad for the servers. Watching a manager look at instructions and struggle to make drinks behind the bar is unacceptable. If you are managing a restaurant you should know how to run the entire business process from the time the customer walks in to the time they leave. It took 25 minutes of waiting on one beer before we decided to leave. We aren't even sure if the server put our food order in. He was kind of out of it and actually brought us the wrong drink at one point. I don't blame him for the poor performance however. The manager was clearly the issue. It's hard to follow poor leadership. I will not return to this location ever again. Update: I'm glad to see management clearly doesn't give a crap about their negative reviews. read more

I came to Razzoo's after hearing great things about it from family and friends about their seafood and reccomendations to try alligator. Came here on a weekday for dinner and was pleasantly greeted by nice staff that seated us quickly to a table. My boyfriend and I ended up getting an order of 1 dozen raw oysters ($12.99) and a basket of catfish, shrimp, fries, & hushpuppies ($12.59). While I can't say I loved the oysters because every oyster I've had tastes like a wet loogie, my boyfriend loved it on the other hand. He ate the entire platter on his own, sparing one for me to try. And again, I just could not get accustomed to the flavor of raw oysters. Although Razzoo's couldn't convert me into a oyster lover and I chickened out on trying the gator, I really enjoyed the food here. The fried shrimp and catfish were flavorful and crispy. They even loaded it up with fries, which is a plus for me. Overall, I had a great experience here and will be coming back and maybe muster up the courage to try something with gator in it. read more

Was a little worried by the wait. Was told 35-45 minutes. Turned into a little over an hour. Server was awesome when he stopped by but kept forgetting drinks and to stop by. But the food was decent. Ok maybe a little better then decent it was really good. I tried out the Cajun combo skillet. Very good the daisy was cooked perfectly. The catfish, chicken strips and boudin ball were also pretty amazing. The dip sauce with the boudin balls was very flavorful and worth the try. The batter was really flavorful also. I'm not a fan of catfish but when I tried it there was no complaints. The decor was pretty cool to look at, and the drink menu looked pretty cool. Didn't get to enjoy any adult beverages. I played it safe with chicken strips with fries, corn on the cob, and a honey mustard dipping sauce. The chicken was juicy and not hard and crunchy like many places, fries were typical, but also soft like I prefer and not hard. Started off GREEAAATT with Phat Tuesday specials. Then reality slipped in. Our hurricanes were much too sweet. Sure, the hurricanes had kick but if my liquor is too sweet then I'm fighting stomach issues later. Next up, appetizers. I didn't really expect to be blown away by this establishment but I was!!! There were three things that impressed me and surprisingly our server was #1! Went here with my country boy Boo because I have been interesting in getting the drinks ( Ha!) but neither one of us ended up drinking. I am so glad we came here and can't wait to go back! My country boy got the seafood gumbo which had a good kick and the seafood sampler which included fish, and shrimp, and I can't remember what else but those came with those delightful hush puppies which he surrendered to me because I'm cute ( ha!). They have three desserts: a bread pudding, a brownie sundae, and some cheesecake delight which all sounded good but I opted for the bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream. Boo said he didn't want to try it since he doesn't like sweets too much but once he tasted that bread pudding studded with pecans and peaches ( yes, peaches!!!) drizzled with rum sauce and ice cream he couldn't help but try a few more spoonfuls. It was amazing, no lie! Third, I didn't imbibe tonight but I was impressed with my strawberry lemonade. We did however see several drinks go by and heard the groans of the patrons tasting their drinks so I know they are good! I just know it. One of the waitresses walked by with this fish bowl with several straws in a koolaid looking liquid and although the OCD Virgo in me isn't about that communal life, I could see groups of friends downing those for a fun night. Razzoo's (no matter what location) has been one of my favorite restaurants for 13 years now. They are pretty consistent with providing service, great quality food, and awesome drinks! The Spring location is pretty good, parking isnt challenging at all, my waitresses are always attentive and food comes out in a pretty reasonable amount of time. The Stafford location is my favorite in town! The view is beautiful I just love eating outside here. The parking is a little challenging and normally is always packed. This is not the Razoos that I'm used to. I lived in Dallas for several years and the food is great there. However, not so great here. Very long wait times (even when it's not busy) and the food is not good at all. Poor execution. Bummer since I live in Spring and was so excited when I discovered a Razoos would be in the neighborhood. They do have a happy hour which I love happy hours, so I just get a drink and a cup of gumbo. Quick seating in the bar area, but rude servers and very slow Bartenders. We had been there several times and the service was hit or miss. It took 10 min for our server to offer water after we already waited 15 min for bar drinks. We noticed the bartender tasting our drinks. When we mentioned it, our server said it was a regular practice for all drinks before they go out. We usually have fondue with shrimp and some type of fried seafood. The place was pretty empty and the server only had 2 tables, but a manager had to bring us our appetizer. Everything else went ok until that evening. I don't know about the cleanliness of the restaurant/bar or what goes on in the back area. I don't know if someone did something on purpose because we questioned the bartender, but we were both sick that whole evening- like what in the world did we do to deserve this??? SICK!
