Razoo's is definitely one of my favorite Cajun spots to eat it. It's typically my first choose for cajunnfood and I highly recommend the fried alligator drinks are pretty darn good as well depending if you like sweet drinks but they have a full bar so you're bound to find something you like. read more

I paid $4 for what should have been a link with my crawfish. And received 4 small pieces of sausage cut up. Haven't been to a Razzoo's in quite some time. And after this trip I am reminded why. Food first. Tea was served with about 2 pieces of ice. Had to ask for an additional glass of ice. With the exception of the "Cajun" green beans the remaining entree was well prepared. Had the "Cajun" fried chicken. I keep using air quotes on Cajun as I don't believe sprinkling some old bay spice on something makes it Cajun. The garlic toast was delicious. Staff was friendly but inattentive. Eating in the bar, texting around the drink well and chatting amongst themselves seems to distract them from patrons. read more

Great atmosphere with great food! The waitress was awesome and the food came out prompt. I've always came to this Razzoo's, but today was a total improvement from what I experienced before. I took my husband and kids in on 5-16-19 around 8pm and had a great time. Our server Charly had a great personality and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We started with a bowl of gumbo and some rat toes, both were very tasty. My kids had a couple kids meals that they devoured, which is a good sign because we usually have to tell them multiple times to eat... lol. My husband and I had the Catfish platter and the Stuffed Shrimp, they were both amazing. We had a great experience and we owe it all to the cooks and Charly. The restaurant was spotless and the men's room was very clean as well. On a somber note, no manager ever came by the table even though she passed by us a few times. My husband and I are both restaurant managers and we are well versed in the art of table touches. We also noticed that a handful of servers were hanging out in the private room located next to the restrooms, the manager also came out of there...that must be where the servers hang when it is slow or their tables are caught up. If I could give a negative star on this location I would. My husband and I went to the Pasadena location and fell in love with it. We live in Cleveland so it's a bit of a drive for either locations however spring is closest. We were so excited to bring our daughters there as we are part Cajun. I love showing them that part of our heritage. When we walked in the hostess acted like she didn't want to seat us. When we were sat. It was the table closest to the outside door and at the doors to the patio. I asked to be moved because it a safety issue with out kids by the exits. My husband went to the restroom during this and he was disgusted by the men's bathroom. Next we were seated at a booth and we were told we couldn't have a sling to hold our infant because it would be in the walk way. 1st off I will be damned if my daughter is sitting on the floor while we are eating meal. And secondly we were told the only way to have that sling we had to go back to that table by the doors. There were plenty of places we could have been sat at. We got fed up and left. read more

However, when we arrived we waited to be seated for several minutes only to find out that the girl that greeted us and talking to her friend was the host. Basically, another waitress saw us standing around and told the girl to seat us.. My wife and I thought that was pretty rude, but dropped it because we wanted to move on. By the end of the night I had to call our waitress twice because our dinner was missing fries and bread and we had to wait for over 10 min for a to go box. The place wasn't even busy.. Food? This place has been near my home for awhile now and we finally checked it out. As soon as we walked in, the hostess (three of them standing around) barely acknowledged us. When they finally stopped gabbing, we were seated. After ten minutes we finally got waited in. After that the service and our eating experience got better. If I could give Zero stars I would. I was told that because I had a party of 5 instead of a party of 4 I could not be seated and served. After reading some of the previous reviews I see why that was. I I've tried to support this place in the past, even when the food wasn't up to par, but tonight may be it for me. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! From the moment we walked in, the hostess's open the door and greet you with genuine smiles. The servers check on you just the right amount, but not too much where they are interrupting your meal. The food was delicious, full of real cajun flavor with cute cajun names. All of the workers were ALL smiling and happy to be working there, then, in walks the Manager, Megan, and we could see why everyone was happy. When you have a good boss, you enjoy your job. We watched her check on each table personally and have conversations with each table as she passed. She stopped and had a conversation with us which made us feel like we were just having dinner at a friends house. My husband Kawika and I are very critical on service. You can have the fanciest/highest price restaurant, but we will never return if we don't get good service, but with the customer service we received tonight from Megan and her team, we will definitely be back again! My go-to meal is always the stuffed shrimp with green beans! It's the perfect dinner option whenever I don't feel like cooking. High quality food, fresh shrimp and their southern style green beans are very flavorful. We visited Razzoos after a day of wedding shopping. I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Being that it was our 1st visit we weren't sure what to order. Our waiter seem new and unsettled in his new position. When couldn't get clear answers we just decided to order tilapia and shrimp when it was presented at the table it was fish sticks!! We all looked at like this couldn't have been our order.. So upsetting that their customer service is so horrific...You should check your credit card bill because after I checked my bank statement I found the charged me $47 for a $11 lunch. We came here for the Friday Dec 9 happy hour today which is until 7 PM. The staff was very friendly and drinks came quickly. . Website advertised frozen drink specials. On the website it states, "Frozen Drink Specials! You're not a true "Razzoo" unless you've give our Hurrycanes, Mardi Ritas, and Swamp Thangs a try. Served in obnoxious glasses and adorned in beads, our frozen drink specials pack a punch. And at just $3.50 for Hurrycanes and Mardi Ritas and $5 Swamp Thangs - you can't afford to pass them up." we asked waitress if the Hurricanes were indeed $3.50 and she said yes. So we got a couple by ordering "a hurrycane". These are packed with flavor and alcohol. Quite delicious. Can't forget to mention that appetizers were 50% off. There was a misunderstanding at the end when we got our bill. Our hurrycanes came out $5. Upon further inquiry the manager told us that on the rocks is $5 and frozen is $3.50 (and smaller serving size). He had no problem adjusting the price without hesitation after hearing our explanation and we left happy campers. "It's a small difference to make happy customers" were his words and we agreed. Had a party of 8 and forgot to mention a 6 month old baby. So there for we were told that they couldn't serve us. Got the impression that the manager (Ashley) was a RACISTS and just didn't want to serve us at all. Instead of saying to have two separate tables we were told that we couldn't be served. As a longtime Razzoos fan from my days living in the DFW area, on a recent visit to H-town, I was happy to see there's a new location in Spring. Imagine my disappointment on arrival (at 930pm after a flight from the west coast) to find a 1 1/2 hour wait... I guess the new-ness hasn't worn off yet I asked if we could just sit in the bar and was told "sure, it's open seating", so my group of 3 sat at an open booth in the bar. I was then rudely told by the waitress and the same girl from up front that I couldn't sit there... in the bar... like I was told I could. "Oh no, I meant AT the bar is open to you" ... Well, duh, I think that's standard everywhere, as is "open seating IN the bar area". Maybe holding tables for seating in the bar area is a Razzoos policy now, or if it's the local manager's decision, not sure, but it's asinine either way and isn't something I see in other restaurants Get your story straight, people... either it's open seating in the bar or it's not... staff training and customer service is sadly lacking here. We promptly left to spend our money elsewhere, where there wasn't a wait. They don't need additional business here, and I won't be back 1 extra star because the food is *probably* as good as I remember from Dallas read more

Went to Razzoo's tonight for dinner and was pleasantly surprised that it was so empty. Usually when we go there is a wait however I suppose that's usually on a weekend night and today is Monday and it was early. Anyhow, walking up the two hostesses walked out with huge smiles as they greeted us and held open the door for me and my family (two kids and husband). They quickly say us and our waiter was quick to come greet us and take our drink order. He interacted with my daughter (3 years old) and made her feel as though she was just as important as a queen. While he got our drinks I went to the restroom, it was clean and orderly. Even smelled good! Which is a rarity for a public bathroom during dinner hours at a restaurant. When I came back our drinks were delivered and he took our order, our food was quick to come out and tasted fantastic as usual. Our poor waiter was also run ragged getting my husband more sweet tea, but like a champ his glass never went empty without another one arriving before hand. I had the boudin stuffed chicken with a red beans and rice side, my husband had the Cajun combo skillet and my daughter had the pop corn shrimp. Everyone was pleased with their food the manager came and greeted us as well. We always enjoy ourselves when we go here, the place is always clean and the food is always good. Had been wanting to try this place since it opened up a couple months ago, but if the lack of parking in the lot was any indication of the wait time, we were just going to keep driving by every time. Well, one day we wanted to just have a night out and decided what the heck...let's suck it up and wait as long as we have to just so we can say that we've been to the place. man, o'man, did we have to wait...i think the wait was around 45 minutes, but it wasn't much of an issue because from the smell of the place we already knew we were in for a treat! We finally got seated and decided to try and get some drinks to enjoy our evening out and quickly decided on something so when the waiter came back, we already knew what to choose off the menu. Truth be told, i seriously cannot remember what I had, but both my wife and I just LOVED the food here and will definitely be back for more! Great Great food!!! I couldn't have asked for better! I got the shrimp brouchette, with dirty rice. It was amazing, the dirty rice had the right amount of kick to it and the bacon around the shrimp wad crispy an delicious! My husband ordered the Cajun chicken fried steak and it too was wonderful! Crispy, and tons of flavor to it! The service was very good, we were even asked by other waiters if we were doing ok. Everyone from the time we walked in to the time we walked out was friendly. The only issue I had was it took a long time for our food to come out even though it wasn't that busy. But that can be expected sometimes with new restaurants.
