When we checked in the girl that was at the front checking everyone in had a horrible attitude towards us for no reason all we did was ask to be put on the wait list. Normally I enjoy Razoos, especially being from New Orleans. This was definitely not one of those times. Where do I start? The service was not fully professional. It took 30 minutes to get our food. When I got my bill, the server gave me the wrong bill and wrong credit card back. I enjoyed my Cobb Salad with shrimp and my rat toes but the food was all I enjoyed. Razzoo's is a chain, and this is their newest location in Cedar Hill, so it is brand spanking new and YUGE! I'm not sure if this is the biggest one I've ever been to, but it is definitely up there. A word of caution before I go on though, be careful about when you go because this place does tend to fill up fast. But, there is plenty of room to fit a lot of people. Now, since this is a chain, you get the good (consistency throughout locations) and the bad (consistency throughout locations). At their bests, chains should have the same reviews for each location, with only customer service changing (hopefully, not for the worse). Generally, you're not going to have the best of whatever you are ordering, but as I've said in other reviews, as long as a restaurant is consistent and customer service is good, I'm happy. On these fronts, Razzoo's, generally and at this location, delivers. The food here is the same as any other Razzoo's. They bill themselves as a Cajun Café, so the menu has things on it like Gumbo and Fried Catfish. But, my favorite is the Rat Toes, which are Fried Jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and crab. I'm a sucker for stuffed jalapenos. If you like these types of foods, you will probably like this place, but be warned that everything is fried and greasy. While they do have a few healthy options, do not expect the vegetarian in your group to be happy with your dinning pick. As for customer service, Razzoo's, including this location, are great at picking their wait staff. You will usually have one or two come by your table periodically to make sure that you've got enough food and drink, and with a long happy hour, you should always have a full drink. If you like fruity mixed drinks, they have them here in spades. All in all, I recommend this location. If you like Razzoo's, you like this one as well, but if there is one closer to you, go to that one. read more

I liked visiting this Razzoos because it's close to my job and when they get the order right it's really good. 90% of the time they get my order wrong and have you take my food back. Today I ordered chicken fried chicken with no gravy with loaded mash and fries. I recorded chicken fried chicken with gravy 2 sides of mash and a side of fries. It took 25 minutes to get my food correct for me to eat. In addition to my food being wrong the bartender seemed to be clueless and lost. She told multiple customers she would go check on their food while they were eating it or after she had already taken their plate away. She had other people helping her make drinks while she told them what to do. I had to wait for silverware and everything I needed to eat. This was the last straw I won't go back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

All of the food came out at once & it was all very hot, fresh & flavorful. The beer was nice and cold & the worm burner is always good & strong. I had a problem at the Cedar Hill Razzoos. Food was wrong, no refil for an hour. Server got angry that my food was wrong and refused to come by my table again i finally asked for manager and was told that she "stepped out". I arrived at 4:30 Thursday 9-29 during Happy Hour. Thd hostess did not arrive fir 5 minutes. she told me there was a shift change and I would have to wait. They were not busy. There is much more to this complaint. The problem I have is in trying to reach some to help me, the manager told me that they do not have a regional or district manager. I find this unbelievable I have called the customer service number and Ithey do not answer. have left 3 messages since yesterday. No response. I have also sent a message. No response. I also left a message with Human Resources. No response I then looked them up with the Better Business Bureau and found out that they have an "F" rating. The reason: They have refused to respond to 8 complaints. If a company has such little regard for their customers then the customers need to know. My order: Cheeseburger no veggies and Diet Coke. This Razzoo's location has not disappointed me or my family yet. We love this restaurant because we love seafood, cajun food, and the variety their menu has. They have great happy hour specials ($2 off drinks and select appetizers for a reduced price) and their appetizers are delicious. The rat toes, firemouth wings, and fried gator tails have to be my favorite apps. Everything is fried to crispy perfection. And their drinks are HUGE and full of alcohol. Definitely have a DD if you're planning on finishing one or two of the Swampthings! They have a myriad of great entrees that are moderately priced for seafood items and come in fairly big portions. One of my favorites was definitely the etoufee When I look for a good étouffée, spice and flavor are the most important factors. Razzoo's delivered on both! Their incorporation of dirty rice instead of white rice gave the dish the extra kick it needed for me. Sadly, there's not much room for crunch with étouffée, but the garlic bread was toasted to perfection! Like any chain restaurant, there is always a gamble with the service. I haven't had any issues with the service at this location thus far! I will always return to this location while I'm in Dallas. read more
