My wife and I just had the best experience at this location. The waiter, Gregory, was super attentive and offered great recommendations. We never had to ask for anything. As soon as we realized we needed something, we saw him coming with it. Really impressive service. On the way out he offered my wife some extra bread for the to go box which was totally not necessary but much appreciated. The bartender that night, India, is amazing with her mixing skills. She concocted one of the best smoothie/shake thing I've ever had and really made the visit a knock out. It had been awhile since we have gone here but we will definitely be back again soon. Used to live in this area and always enjoyed coming here. Moved away years ago and happened to be back in the area and decided to come by for an early dinner. This place was packed (between 3-4pm on a Saturday). Thankfully though we were able to be seated right away. Our waiter was nice and had our drink orders and appetizer was delivered in a timely fashion. We ordered our food and this is where we ran into an issue. My order when it came out wasn't what I ordered. So they took it back to correct it. We were hoping it would be in a timely fashion but were informed the kitchen was backed up. So my husband was able to eat his food. And I just kept eating our appetizer, having to opt on canceling my food due to the lengthy wait time. Looking back we should've gone with our other option and gone elsewhere. Not sure I'll be back if we're in the area again. This experience kinda put me off for future returns. read more

Wow... talk about a place needing desperate help. I worked at the Arlington location several years ago, so I'm familiar with the expectations for service at this establishment. Kid you not, it took twenty minutes before we were greeted at our table or offered beverages. I finally timed it. We received service because we finally asked the hostess walking around with the iPad if we could get someone to help us after waiting for so long. There were SO many wait staff loitering around the kitchen entrance, just hanging out, some eating food (huge no-no for Razzoo's), looking at the dining room and visibly seeing that we did not have coasters or had been helped. Not ONE person stopped by to ask how y'all are or get us a drink. I locked eyes with multiple wait staff and our empty table was ignored. We were not the only table this appeared to happen to, there were several patrons waiting around without service for a good amount of time also. When I worked at Razzoo's, please know that we were reprimanded if we walked by and didn't greet a table we saw without coasters. Even if it wasn't our section. After initially meeting our server and given some excuse about a situation in the kitchen for his twenty minute delay, it took well over ten minutes before we saw our server again to place our order or receive our drinks. It was quite interesting watching drama between the wait staff unfold before our very eyes at the entrance of the kitchen while we waited. Holy crap. Talk about a wild set of personalities at this place. Female wait staff literally about to argue at the kitchen entrance where everyone in the dining area could not only see, but hear. Where are the managers??? GM?? Embarrassing. Thankfully, the food was great which is my only reason for 2 stars, and the only reason we even decided to stay. The service is embarrassingly awful at this location, and I have no idea where the managers or the GM was. On a Saturday night, they're usually on the floor doing table touches, making sure guests are kept happy, keeping wait staff in check and making sure they're doing their job. Nope! Not here. All-in-all, super disappointed with this location and our experience. Mr. Powell and Mr. Leatherwood, this location is suffering!!! First time ordering entrees here. It was pretty good however the food came out more on the warm side than hot. Our appetizers came out about 8 minutes before our entrees so we felt rushed. The Cajun fondue was good; it was warm and not hot (temperature wise) therefore, it wasn't good by the time we finished the dish. My friend ordered the gumbo...it was a little on the sweet side. Definitely not our favorite, but it was okay. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and I would re-order it again. It was good. My sister enjoyed the grilled oysters and my daughter ordered a Cesar salad. After waiting outside for a table for 45min at your Cedar Hill, TX location. My husband and I were seated at a table in the bar area. We were given a menu and asked what we would like to drink. I asked for a Swamp Thing and was told I couldn't have on because I had a scent of marijuana on my clothing. We were told that we needed to eat , have some water, or something because of how we smelled. I'm trying to figure out why how I smelled effects me from having an alcoholic beverage. If I smelled like polo cologne, cigarettes, urine or funky arm pits would I still have been denied an alcoholic beverage? Would I have been told to eat or have water? Razzoo's employees need to realize that some people have a MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION that may make them smell like marijuana. They didn't say we looked drunk or reeked of alcohol. Then I would understand liability; but marijuana. I feel discriminated against because of my health condition. Someone from the kitchen even came and chatted with us for a while she even took our requests for songs our server was very friendly & attentive. The fried gator was actually pretty good i prefer it over the grilled gator even though it was just an appetizer because it had a good sauce and it was sweet. Then i tried the grilled gator and wasn't really thrilled about it. The description says it had a barbecue sauce on it which i was expecting, but ended up being a spicy dish. The spiciness killed the dish for me so didn't enjoy it as much because it didn't have any flavor. It also came with mostly rice so i was bummed about that, you see the gator on top thinking its alot of meat but nope its just mostly other things with pieces of gator. When i want a dish with something specific, i expect alot of it especially for that price. Other than the food the waiter wasn't even paying attention to the only 2-3 tables he had to take care of. We got refills when we got the check and about to leave, so was kinda forced to chug it before i left because i was really thirsty. I stopped by Razzoos today jus to have a drinknor 2 with my Mother today. Rhis particular location has been here about 5 or so years seems like. Now its usually busy espescially Weekends. The upside is that im always pretty satisfied with my food here at Razzoos no matter which location i visit. The downside to this location is that i have experienced bad service here. The staff is always pretty much the same. Young sxhool kids seems to be the hiring procedure which for me can go right or left. Also a plus is the decor and overall feel that you get at a Razzoos. It pays true homage to Nawlins or New Orleans. I wasnt really hungy today so we shared an order of their Firemouth Wings & the Cajun Fondue with Crawfish which is A MUST anytime you're here. Trust me when i say its one of the best things you'll experience Ever!!! I usually always have the Stuffed Shrimp or the Tchoupitoulas as my main course. But as a whole you will enjoy your food here but you just have to hope u get 1 of the good servers read more

Came in on 6-28-2021. I asked For a table for 2. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait. I looked around and noticed it was about 50% full, so I decided to wait because I thought I could be sat earlier. I got a table in 15 minutes. The people who put their name down had a party of 4. They were also told 45 minutes. They were sat down about 3 minutes after I was. When my text went off to inform me my table was ready I returned to the host/hostess booth to get my table they were telling two girls it would be a 45 minute wait as well. I immediately told the girl I only had to wait 15 minutes, she decided to put her name on the list. This was after her friend said she didn't want to wait. They were seated in less then 10 minutes. So the employees have a very poor sense of time on seating customers, may lose business over this. My waiter was very polite, very nice, but was poorly attentive. Then I saw he was doing a lot of cleaning. I assumed they had separate employees who swept and cleaned off tables. We asked for silverware and napkins. He went to the front booth and asked for them and the manager with the dyed red hair said they didn't have napkins. Then one girl spoke up and said they did. He came over and handed us a little stack of napkins. I looked at all the other tables where people were eating and saw they had their silverware and black cloth napkins. I told him that is what I meant by silverware and napkins. About 5 employees hung out up front by the booth and were dropping the "F" bomb and other cuss words. My table was the closest to the booth. Found this to be very unprofessional as well as my date did. All while the manager is right there joking and laughing with them all. It's good to have fun at work but when people are trying to enjoy dinner and one another's company, I don't want to hear you cussing constantly. My date said the women's bathroom was disgusting and told our waiter that it needed attention. He promptly told the manager. Food was good. They definitely have things to work on. They were all very small they loaded like bacon wrapped little smilies. My rat toes were cold. My stuffed shrimp were ok but not hot. I ordered the Cajun crab cakes as an appetizer and stuffed shrimp meal. The stuffed shrimp were scorched and the service was below average. I barely touched the shrimp, nor the white rice underneath. I ate the small bowl of green beans (about 6 in the bowl) but left the rest of the skillet in the counter. The barkeep noticed that I didn't eat my meal. She was very nice and offered to take it back so that they could make it right. I declined because time didn't permit, I was on my lunch break, and had a client scheduled. We typically go to Razzoo's for happy hour but since we are still in quarantine I decided to do a curb side pick up. Now I remember they had the best wings & fondue dip, so that's what I ordered. We waited for over an hour because they wouldn't sit us until our whole party was there even though we were only waiting on one person... once we were seated The service was pretty good. My food was good once they brought me the right meal, they originally brought me the catfish basket when I ordered the shrimp basket. I left a cash tip and thought everything was great. Well here I am 3 days later and my card was overcharged by $10.27 and I'm furious. I've called and spoken with the manager but he said he would look into it and call me back. You can bet if I don't get a call back I'll be calling again. To make matters worse this was my first razzoos experience... We're in a Pandemic but they never open their patio.
