I couldn't pass up the chance to try out this new location. I've only been to the sugar land location which has always been consistently good. Now I'll be adding this great location to my favorites list. It's super clean and festive with Mardi Gras decor. Plenty of tv screens to watch any sports teams playing. They had the college and pro teams on. They have the best happy hour hands down. It wasn't busy at all and the young man that was bartending and my server was very attentive. He kept the refills flowing and had what we needed before being asked....amazing service. I had the catfish basket that came with french fries, hush puppies, and a drink for 12.99. PLEASE try the berry lemonade it was delicious! The catfish portion was very small. It was half a fillet cut into 3 strips and had a gritty dirty taste. It was not good at all. The fries and hush puppies were fried to perfection. The catfish basket comes with a choice of salad or gumbo....so gumbo it was. It's definitely not my grandma's gumbo. It was more like a okra, tomato, sausage, chicken jambalaya. Nothing I'd ever consider ever again. But it was edible after dressing it with hot sauce and crackers. Also got the crawfish po-boy which was a hit! It was spilling over with fried crawfish packed to the gills. Got it with LTOP with a side of corn on the cob and hush puppies. The fried pickles we ordered were good but I never received my drink after being told multiple times that the bartender was working on it. That may work for some people but we could see the bartender doing dishes. We asked to speak the manager and he never came by. My fiancé even got up to go find him and he was talking with another table for quite some time. This is the best Cajun option in the area. The atmosphere is great as well as the food, drink, and service. Every menu item is more than generously portioned for the diner. Pricing is well in line for what you get. I also found that their cocktails were very reasonable and very flavorful. For the appetizer we had the boudain balls and I loved these because there was no liver in it. I find that liver in traditonal boudain is quite abrasive. The balls came with this sauce called bbq ouch which was delicious. It was so good that I requested some to go for my tacos in the morning. My wife and daughter were able to do a split plate with the catfish and shrimp plate. It was still huge being split. It came with these jalapeno hushpuppies which were absolutely lovely. I ordered the Cajun Combo Skillet which actually came in a Lodge Iron Skillet. This is great because I know the food will remain hot while eating it. My combo came with Shrimp and Crawfish Etouffee as well as Red Beans and Rice with Andoullie Sausage hope I spelled those right. This plate was on a whole new level for me. It was huge and it also came with some nicely buttered and toasted French Bread. In addition to this I had a Watermelon Flavored Tea and it was very refreshing and delicious. My wife had the Hurricane Hell and this tasted like a sour strawberry or raspberry jolly rancher frozen drink obviously with the 151 rum. Very nice flavor going down with the right amount of alcohol aftertaste. Cajun dinner paradise didn't end with the meal but definitely had to have the Peach Bread Pudding. I've gone to this restaurant twice in one week. Ariel was my waitress and she was so nice and accommodating. She made some very good food and drink suggestions. The fried pickles are good but I really loved the boudin balls. The seafood sampler gives you the variety you need. Prices at this restaurant are affordable. Portion sizes are huge. Visiting family in the area and we stayed a couple minutes from Razzoo's. We went a couple times. I got Gumbo which was ok at first. The base is dark brown which I prefer. I like my meats to be seared with some color which it didn't but it was fine. I saved part of my gumbo and it was really good and better the next day. My favorite was the boudin balls. I've never had them before and they were good! The sauce was too spicy for me, overbearing the flavor of the entire dish. Drinks were good as well. We had Frozen hurricane mixed margarita and then frozen margarita both were good! Staff was nice and restaraunt was clean. Came here on Monday and Mystery was our server she was very nice! There was a fruit fly in my cocktail and that was pretty gross but they already told us they were closing the bar for the evening. I had the Cajun Combo skillet and I liked the flavors of the etoufee was good but the crawfish tails and sausage were very tough and dry. Also the shrimp creole just tasted like tomato sauce, very lacking in flavor. It was supposed to come with corn but it wasn't on the plate but my server brought one right out. My friend tried to order the hurricane salmon and after waiting for our meal she was told (by the manager I assume) they just sold the last salmon, the gave her chicken instead and put bacon on the mash potatoes(it doesn't have bacon listed so she didn't know to ask to leave it off) we needed up getting to go boxes but ended up just leaving the food because it wasn't very appetizing read more

Margaritas were pretty good. We had frozen mango and watermelon! We started with fried alligator and a cup of gumbo. The alligator wasn't as flavorful as we like and the pieces are smaller. The gumbo lacked flavor as well and way too much rice! For entrees we ordered the jambalaya pasta and seafood platter. We tried the Rat Toes, stuffed jalapeños filled with seafood stuffing, battered and deep fried. I hate to say it, but they were way too spicy for me and I love spicy food. It killed my mouth and I just couldn't recover. Dipping it in ranch helped, but maybe it was a batch of spicy jalapeños. I had the blackened catfish and it was too heavily seasoned. The green beans that came with it were tasty and good. My husband got the fried platter and it was a let down. Small fried shrimp, abysmal fries, and catfish was okay. The surprise of the dish was the Cherry Mustard Sauce. It was like a Honey Mustard but with Cherry and it was actually pretty darn good. BUT he says the gumbo here is in his top 5. We started with some Rat Toes as an appetizer. They were very good, but don't get them if you have a VERY low tolerance for spicy food (like me)... it was a delicious struggle to eat them. I don't remember if I had the stuffed shrimp, or the stuffed fish, because I couldn't decide... but it was good! Then we shared a bread pudding, and as a self proclaimed bread pudding expert, I can tell you that this particular bread pudding was MEH! We have been going to this location since it opened. As the years have gone by the service continues to get worse. My family went here for lunch Easter Sunday. We had a party of 11. Should also mention the last time we had been here was August of 2022. Had bad service and hadn't been back. Because we liked it so much before, we decided time had passed and we would give it another try...ugh! Because of the size of our party we were advised that there would be an automatic 18% gratuity. Absolutely fine as we usually tip more than that anyway. We ordered our drinks and our food and everything did manage to come out in a timely manner. Three of us had pasta, dishes, and two out of the three had hard pieces of pasta in the food. Our waitress seem to be a bit scattered and unable to keep things straight. Anytime we had to ask for something it took forever to get it and refills only happened when we asked for it. I also want to note that we were in the separate side room, and although there was a larger party in there when we got there, they ended up leaving and we were her only group. Once it was time for checks, she couldn't remember who was on what check and what each person had to drink. All soft drinks. Once that was finally figured out and we had all paid my sister in law said "I think we should mark this place off our list." I agreed! Basically we did not add any additional tip besides the 18% required. Because we were going out separate ways we stood outside for a bit so my husband excused himself to use the restroom. When he went inside he saw the waitress complaining about her tip. i'm sorry, but we are usually excellent tippers. However, it just simply was not earned.
