Oh my gosh- never been so let down with restaurant management - So I ordered crawfish - no corn or potato served - server goes away n come back- says they will be out shortly .. I finish the crawfish - still nothing . Oysters are by far the best thing here. I've been to many places searching for great oysters and this place never fails me. They're very big in size and taste great! Aside from the oysters, food and service is great! Usually get a catfish poboy which is bigger than normal. Also can never forget their crawfish fondue. Typical prices you would pay for seafood. First off, great drinks. 8 pm on a Monday. Ordered Creole shrimp over rice. Spicy as advertised. Kinda tasted like Campbell's tomatoes soup that was bammed way up. Still ate it....so yummy. Wife ordered fried catfish with red beans and rice. Meal did not set well with her... said beans tasted "funny". Manager was great and took meal off the check. Had the bread pudding for desert. Was like a $10 Cinnabun. Very sweet glaze on it. Good otherwise and very filling. Just had a difficult time with the price. Oh yeah, great drinks. A tine on my fork was bent way out of shape and hit my tooth. So I destroyed that puppy forthwith, and stole another one off an adjacent table. tip = if you are with a party of 4 to 6 skip the appetizers, you could even skip ordering anything else and order just the jaws it says on the menu it will feed 4 but it easily feeds 6 it has a mix of the fried foods on the menu all piled up on a serving plate big enough to hold a turkey like family stile eating we ordered appetizers and other plates as well but we would have had plenty with just the jaws I had the sausage red beans and rice and the beans reminded me of eating in Louisiana = that means it was good and that would have been plenty to eat as well read more

We came in around 9:30 which is an hour and a half till closing so how much could I really expect out of the service right? *rolls eyes* The hostess was super friendly! But our server wasn't attentive and friendly at all. She seemed like she didn't wanna be there and spoke with no emotion at all like we were bugging her. Food took a really long time to come out. Even tho it wasn't even busy. At all. My fried shrimp had a bad old oil taste and left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. The fries were cold, overcooked and very very over seasoned. Too salty. Seemed like they were leftovers from someone else's plate. The pasta was good though. You can never go wrong with that. My fiancé and I are completely impressed with this place (and we've been to NOLA twice). Super good food! Very friendly server who was willing to answer all of our questions. Food was so impressive that we went the next day when my mom came into town! The fried alligator tail and fried green beans are a must try!! So yummy. If you enjoy food that is different, but yet good this is it. There are no stray cats in the parking lot, but the chicken sure is good here. Drinks are just as cold as the a/c with a touch of sun light from the back glass. Parking is smooth with self valet. i dont like to write reviews often but i hate to say razoos went corporate. my friend and i have been there multiple times before and had larger sizes of gator baskets but the basket i had tonight had next to no gator, and mine was 16, where my friend, who ordered 'the exact same thing as him' as she put it ended up with an appetizer portion and that was 13. if we got the same thing, how did he end up with a smaller portion? they dont offer the fishbowl anymore because of covid which is understandable but disappointing. on top of that not long after the food was out so was the check, without asking us if we want it split or anything. we were in and out in less than 45 minutes because the meal felt rushed almost. I can go to shell shack across the road and get a basket of gator thats ONLY gator for 12 and the ambience is a significantly better vibe, between the greeting, the staff, the music is all a much better move from now on. read more

This place is never a disappointment! Even after they changed the menu, we still make this a frequent stop and always leave happy! My personal favorites are the shrimp and cat combo and the blackened chicken pasta. Let me first say - the French fries are magical. The Cajun seasoning on them - a little spicy, a little sweet = pure perfection! We always sit at the bar. The bartenders shake your hand and learn your name. I love this personal touch. Shelby was our first bartender and she is always fabulous. But they all are!! Also, if you come to drink, get you an order of the boudin balls and a hurricane and you will be set for the night! The only reason they have 4 stars is because they changed the menu and got rid of the feast that fed 4 people. It was definitely a sight to see. We've been regulars at this restaurant for a few years now. We are very pleased with the food and the customer service here. From what we can tell, turnover is relatively low as we see many familiar faces. The servers for the most part are friendly and attentive. We always appreciate AMY as she is very professional and friendly. She always sees to it that we have what we need, is quick with a smile and always courteous (She is like this with everyone). The servers there are pretty much all like this, but Amy is very sweet. The food has been good, well seasoned and well presented. We love the Shrimp & Cat Combo, and the Cajun Etoufee is delicious. Their warm Bread Pudding dessert is also very good. The decor and the music are pleasant and upbeat! It's a fun place to go for dinner. read more

They wouldn't seat a group of 13 on a Tuesday evening at 6pm. We even tried to say we would split into two groups, and they wouldn't do that. We finally sent two different people from our group up to the hostess stand a few minutes apart to ask for a table of 7 and a table of 6. They seated us, but the manager said he was going to throw us out because we were actually all together and they don't serve parties over 8 people. There were 10 empty tables in the dining area!!!! There was no reason for it. We did stay and eat spending $550. I'm not sure how our money is any different from another table of 7. The servers were very good, however. The food was good, but not hot, barely warm. We will not go back after the manager gave us such a difficult time for the large party. We had even tried to call the day prior for a reservation, and they wouldn't take one. Ridiculous! Again, 10 empty tables when we sat down! read more

Razzoo's Cajun Cafe has just lost me and my family's business for life. I understand that Razzoo's can and did make a COVID rule that they won't serve parties greater than six. I think you should amend that to accommodate large families. Our party of 7 (2 adults and 5 minors) were refused service because of this corporate policy. They wouldn't allow splitting our party into two tables. Now why not allow splitting us up into 2 tables? If my wife and I came in a min apart one parent with 3 kids and the other parent with 2 kids, we would have been seated and served.
