Visited this establishment on a Tuesday for an early dinner. It was nice out so we decided to dine on the patio. The ambiance was amazing but the food was even better! The drink I had with my meal was the swamp thing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the stuffed fish topped with crawfish ettoufee and it was seriously the best meal I've had in a while. I loooove this place! The food is as close to Nawlins Cajun as you'll get in DFW. Try the etouffee, gumbo, or Jabalaya. It's all fantastic really. I wanted to give an extra shoutout to Cheryl the manager. I reviewed my bank statement, thought the price was a bit more than I had remembered. I called and spoke with Cheryl. She pulled the ticket, reviewed it item by item and verified that all was correct. Most managers would disregard or even ignore such a request, but she took the time to review it and call me back to discuss it. An already fantastic place just went up a notch in my book. read more

I ordered the boudin chicken and it was seriously over priced. The boudin was so spicy and didn't eat it. They fill the plate with mostly rice so it looks like you're actually getting something. The corn mess was gross. The chicken itself was good but not worth $13. read more

Terrible management, terrible bartender!! We ordered the Gator Punch that had virtually tasted like watered down fruit punch. We brought it up to the "hospitality manager" that refused to take the drink off the bill. After we were told by a waitress that it always happens when a certain bartender is working. Needless to say we were very disappointed with how the situation was handled. We told him wouldn't be returning because he was not willing to admit they have a poor bartender that doesn't know how to make a drink. The manager could care less about losing our business. The managers name is Larry and with his poor decision making skills, makes me question if he was the one that hired the lousy bartender that he whole heartedly supported. Never going back! read more

We came here to eat for lunch and the service was awesome. The host, Jacob, opened the door for us and greeted us promptly. He also complimented my new boots, so he wins. Taylor was so attentive and she was very polite and personable. Everything we ordered came out correct and delicious. Kirsten came and introduced herself as one of the managers. We didn't wait to be seated, instead we ate at the bar. The service was awesome. Not only did we have about everyone behind the bar at our service but the food came out quickly and correctly. While the place was packed due to it being a Friday night we found a great spot at the bar and was attended to as soon as we sat down. Our Gator was delicious and the seafood combo was a lot and cooked perfectly. my wife and I shared a fish bowl drink and fried pickles which both were good. Food was ok, nowhere near authentic however. Service was slow. We went in just before 10 pm. The place was pretty empty. It took at least 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and come get our drink order. We ordered two bowls of gumbo as an appetizer but they didn't come out until 10:30. 30 minutes for soup that I'm almost certain is already made. About 5 minutes later our meals came out. Great service. Great food. Always made fresh and hot when it gets to your table. Absolutely love the fish ah-yee. Fried tilapia with Cajun sauce that has shrimp and crawfish in it. So good! Not the worst place, but definitely not the best. My family and I have been there about 6 times. After the last visit I'm not in a huge rush to go back. My the boys and I ordered our food at the same time and for some strange reason our waitress put it on three separate tickets. My children are 13,15, and 16. Well, apparently since my daughter quit to go to a job in her chosen field we are not allowed to eat here anymore. Manager, Nikki, asked us to leave after we ordered our drinks. She said we were not allowed to eat at or be a customer of Razzoos any longer. She was extremely rude and arrogant. This is really poor business practice. Took my brother there for dinner just last weekend and had a male server that did not really know how to please us. It was our first time there so I asked the guy what the most popular that people usually go for and he didn't really propose anything. He told me that the restaurant just recently came up with a dish that isn't on the menu yet, and he would recommend that I should try it. It was a grilled chicken with Mash Potato and some side orders. It was not even that good and the grilled chicken was kind of dried and did not taste good at all. I would go and give it five stars alone just for the bread pudding, it's delicious. That aside we've been to this location a handful of times and never had a bad visit. The gumbo in my opinion is tastey but so much better on day two. We always get an appetizer gator tail and the little one likes the fried pickles. I've tried various other entress, the jambalaya, combo platter and even gone in with a family and had the huge sampler plate with fried fiah, gator tail, hush puppies and other goodies. We like Razors flavor and decor and although it can get loud during busy hours we tend to go at off peak times and have no problem. read more

Last time we arrived to pick up our food at the time they said it would be ready to find out that they never entered the order in. Today we ordered over the phone again and arrived again at the time they said, then we continued to wait for an additional 40 minutes!!! Usually love this place and the service, but this time the 4 hostess sitting at the front ruined it.. my brother in law and his girlfriend beat us there and tried getting a table... the hostess said not until the full party is here (gone here over two years this has never happened before). We get there and they see our whole party (my husband goes to the bathroom) I ask if there is a wait because they seat two couples before us.... she said no we are waiting for your full party.... my full party was literally there. We finally get seated and I have a baby... the hostess doesn't even bring a high chair or kids menu... so my husband had to go around and find both. If you're going to pay someone to be a hostess at least make them friendly, approachable, some common sense and obviously hospitality. I wish I could report on the food, but we were not able to eat because they were not able to accommodate our seating request. After waiting 45 minutes with no page, I checked with the hostess, who said she paged us, but I had never received a text, even though I was right outside. They tried to seat us in a crowded corner that could not fit a high chair which was requested twice. They offered another table, but that would have been an additional 15-20 min wait, which was not acceptable. I would like to see the staff retrained on how to be "focused on the task" because I'm guessing the hostess was distracted and took down or dialed the wrong number. In addition, I would like them to have a better understanding of the layout of the restaurant and what tables can best accommodate high chairs. read more
