Yay! Welcome to Haltom City! Me and my friend came and had an amazing time and super excited that we didn't have to drive so far just to get some Kickin Crab anymore. Our server was attentive and checked on us every chance he got and made sure our drink was topped off. We got 3lb each medium kickin' style which came with a free corn and some Cajun fries yum! Ambiance was super clean given it that it's a new location nothing negative to say about it. Can't wait to come back soon before the crawfish season really is over. read more

I recently visited this seafood spot and unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food itself was not good, which was disappointing for a place that's supposed to specialize in seafood. The service also left a lot to be desired. Our server seemed bothered the entire time, was not attentive, and didn't create a welcoming atmosphere at all. It felt like we were inconveniencing him just by being there. One thing that really stood out was that they didn't even have proper seafood utensils available, which is surprising for an establishment focused on seafood. What an awesome seafood experience with the family. Lots of space here to fit large groups. Ordered a combo seafood boil with their mild garlic butter sauce and it was delicious. I do wish it had more garlic but none the less we still enjoyed it. I will say it was a bit odd ordering seafood pasta and it came in a small to go container. It could've been nicely plated better with garlic bread. Service was great and super attentive. Id come back to this location for another special occasion. read more

One of the few stores that have started opening up around Hmart Haltom City. Kickin' Crab is one of the go to Vietnamese Cajun version of crawfish boil. The flavors were great and the generous sauce and garlic they put in that sauce is just truly satisfying. We had their combo 1 which where you pick three 1 lb each of shrimp, crawfish, clams, or green/black mussels. The bag also came with corn, potatoes, and sausage. A pretty good deal for 2 people for $52.99. But If you came for just crawfish they have it for $9.99/lb during this visit. Service was prompt. We were seated right away upon walking in and this was 30 minutes from opening. Definitely a good addition to this area. read more

So happy about this new spot in this area. Haltom City really need a boost on getting new dine in places to boost foot traffic. Today's visit, we had the Kickin' Combo Deal #1 for $52.99. You get t pick 3 items from clams, shrimp, crawfish, (green and black) mussels. All weighing 1lb each. The combo also comes with 2 corns, 2 potatoes, and 4 (slices) of sausage. It came out pipping hot and fresh and full of flavors. Be careful on the spice, we got the medium and it was already fire. If you are not used to spicy food, you must get the mild version. read more

Welcome, KC! First spot to open up in the new HMart shopping center in Haltom City. We came in for a late lunch and there were plenty of seating. It's nice and spacious inside with lots of natural lighting from the windows. I've never been to Kickin' Crab before so the menu is new to me. I like that they have plenty of options besides seafood boil, but that was definitely my reason for coming. I went with the 1/2 lb snow crab leg and 1/2 shrimp and added 1 lb of crawfish, kc style medium heat. Just enough to get my nose running but my mouth was not on fire. Loved the flavors and the quality of the seafood. My friend got the shrimp tacos and enjoyed it. Service was excellent. I like when everyone comes by to check on you even if they're not your original server. No alcohol license yet, still in progress. Can't wait to come back to try more of the menu! read more

Finally some good asian cajun style seafood boil in Haltom City! Can't wait for all the other stores to open in this Hmart food hall! Grand opening today, great service and great food, nice people. All was tasty, place is a decent size, i really like the separate wash station. We got the kicking style medium with our 6 pounds of crawfish, 1 pound clams, 1/2 pound shrimp. Cousin got the seafood bag with snow crab, mussels and crawfish, and some garlic noodles with grilled shrimp as an appetizer. Everything was spot on, perfect sauce. Crawfish was huge, good promotion going on right now, buy 5 pound get one pound free! Current market price is $9.99/pound, cheaper if u get the BOGO, plus there is an additional special something on top, which I will not reveal! Go and try it out for yourself! We have been here multiple times since grand opening and each time we were left happy! Seafood boils are soo delicious in their kickin sauce. Their fries are crispy and thin, just the way I like cajun fries to be. Service is prompt and staff is attentive, welcoming, and so kind! read more

New crab spot, saw it mentioned on some social media site recently. Place is close to home in the new H-Mart shopping center with SEVERAL Asian food places either open or being built. Place is super clean with lots of seating. We went on a Saturday at 12p and there were maybe 3 other tables in use. Menu is fairly easy to read, although the combo boil plates (crab and shrimp) are on the "back"...so don't miss it. We both ordered 1/2 lb crab and shrimp boils with the everything sauce, mine with medium heat and wife had mild. Food was delivered quickly, like less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. They brought it out in bags (like other places) and placed in front of us -- and this is the strange part... They didn't bring trays to dump it in, we had to ask for them(???) and they only brought 1 set of crab tools. When I asked for a 2nd set, the waitress almost seemed confused and even asked if I was sure I wanted a 2nd set to use. Are trays and 2 sets of tools not standard for 2 people ordering individual bags?? Very weird... The crab was warm temperature wise, would have preferred it to be hot. While the shrimp are large (excellent!!) they were also just warm. I might suggest making them hot, even if that means I have to "wait" more than 5 minutes for it to arrive after ordering. Price was fair for what we ordered ($70) and the food was good. Nothing amazing, but not bad either. Hope they work out some kinks notes above, would be nice to have a crab boil close to home that is worth going to. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful. The best place I've eaten so far. I highly recommend this place and our waitress was amazing. Always kept coming back to the table making sure we were good. Food was good, but don't get alcoholic drinks here. My husband's margarita tasted like juice. I don't know if they put any alcohol in it to be honest. Very disappointing, as we were so excited to try this place since we live so close. read more

From the start we waited for someone to even come take our drink order and I had to stop somebody in order to place that. Then we Waited half an hour for our food and had to stop another waitress to ask how much longer just for her to tell us the order was never put in. You would think in that time our waiter would have checked to see what was going on. The restaurant was not busy. It was all of 5 families there. I came in on opening day. The food was great! I ordered the 1/2 snow 1/2 shrimp special in kickin style medium sauce. Super delicious. They had good music and 3 tvs showing a baseball game.
