I used to hate on this place downtown Fort Worth but after two visits here it's pretty good. Mostly fried options if you like but is pretty tasty. I was suprised by the jalapeno catfish with black eyed peas and was good. I think much of the dinner menu is overpriced for what it is. I wish I could report on the food, but we were not able to eat because they were not able to accommodate our seating request. After waiting 45 minutes with no page, I checked with the hostess, who said she paged us, but I had never received a text, even though I was right outside. They tried to seat us in a crowded corner that could not fit a high chair which was requested twice. They offered another table, but that would have been an additional 15-20 min wait, which was not acceptable. I would like to see the staff retrained on how to be "focused on the task" because I'm guessing the hostess was distracted and took down or dialed the wrong number. In addition, I would like them to have a better understanding of the layout of the restaurant and what tables can best accommodate high chairs. read more

Good points; clean white CLOTH napkins, friendly servers who know every thing on menu by heart, cleanliness. Food is hot (temperature). We ate at Razoo's (Alliance location) yesterday evening, and I doubt we will go again. The food was "okay" I guess, the hush puppies were to spicy hot for me, the shrimp was good and temperature hot, but the shrimp were "thin" and not as thick as ones at Catfish & Co. The prices were higher than C&C across the board. Drinks cost more, plates of food cost about $3 per plate more etc. Upon entering the hostess could not seat us as we were trying to find the other half of our party and zero help from the several hostesses. Left me standing there with my cane and no place to sit. Ugh. The lack of compassion by the hostess crew was shameful. One server dropped her cell phone (?) to the floor and was obviously upset, but she should not have had it out in the first place while carrying food. read more

The service was super, the Bloody Mary's were very good, the Oysters on the half shell also very good, now for the main course, we had the combo plate of fried shrimp and fried catfish with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. For a Cajun café they do not know what seasoning is, the shrimp and fish breading tasted mainly of flour, with no salt, pepper or any other spices, just BLAND and the hush puppies were sweet. My wife had the stuffed shrimp which was also BLAND; the best thing on her plate was the bread and corn. I would never associate this food with anything Cajun. Service is always fast, as well as courteous. I always get the pork chops. The mashed potatoes are AMAZING. I also love the mustard sauce that comes with the pork chops, because it's creamy and not bitter at all. The pork chops are juicy and flavorful. I also really like the Gator Punch. It comes in a fishbowl and it's very tasty, no hint of liquor, so it creeps up on you. I'm making this my go-to hotspot for dinner and my birthday :) read more

My wife and I enjoyed our dining experience at this location. We normally visit the Cityview location in Ft.Worth because it is close to our home. We were pleased with this Razzoos restaurant that our daughter and family chose after our grandson's baseball game this past Saturday. I was excited to get my first helping of crawfish this season. The meal was perfectly seasoned. I recommend the Cajun mild seasoning. The portions were plentiful enough to allow our grandson to eat crawfish his first time. read more

Coming to razzoos used to be my mom and i's place to go when we wanted to catch up, but recently we had a very different experience. Went and sat at the bar we got drinks and then we were asked to leave. Their reason for kicking us out was because my sister no longer work there so therefore we could not come back to Razzoos. It didn't just stop there, me and my family continue to get dirty looks until we gathered our things and left. I'm so disappointed in Razzoos. The food was never really that good, we just came back because of the atmosphere. After that atmosphere that we experienced, I can guarantee you I will never go to another Razzoos again. Second time going in, I didn't quite like the first plate I ordered it was over done and too tuff for my taste. Our server was extremely understanding and positive about my complaint. She took my plate back and I ordered the shrimp and cat basket instead. Jodi came back to ask for my feedback about the first plate I ordered and after giving him my complaint he gave me a freshly made plate and wrapped it up all for me. I will be back just because I felt like the staff actually cared about me and wanted me to be happy. That is pretty rare to find, most places just want to get you in and out and don't strive to keep the customer happy. we were looking for crawfish and decided where better than Razzoos. boy, were we wrong, the crawfish were overcooked and very mushy, the worst I have ever had. in addition, we asked for no potatoes or corn but we were served it anyway, the server could care less. all in all, if you want a good bowl of crawfish, go elsewhere. read more

Went there on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overwhelmed. We were told it would be a 30 min wait but that turned into over an hour. We had 6 in our party and they're excuse was our party was big and not enough large seating options were available. They were seating parties of 4 left and right. Once seated, we ordered everything at one time. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees to expedite as we were in a time crunch to make a later reservation. Food was decent but not Razoo's quality we've come to expect from eating at the downtown location over the years. Catfish was chewy and breading fell off, lacked any seasoning. You'd figure good fried catfish in a cajun restaurant would be a given....apparently not. Next time we'll drive a little further to the one downtown. read more

Brought my dad and grandfather here for Father's Day, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress seemed very overwhelmed and confused, they must have been short staffed. When we got our etoufee it tasted as if it might have been sitting for a while; it had definitely cooled off. That being said, all of our food was good, no complaints on the flavor. They weren't stingy on that crawfish, and my father's gator was the most tender I'd ever tasted- too often it's too chewy, but this was just right. Fried pickles were delicious, just wish they wouldn't be so selfish with the ranch. Overall, it was a good experience and we left satisfied. read more

This place is alright but you never know what kind of food or service you will get that day. Most of the employees there do not seem happy at all including the managers never smiling! I wasn't too impressed with the bartenders either! I asked for a dirty martini and the guy asked how many limes I wanted. The last time I checked dirty martinis do not have limes in them. It also was annoying to me it took him awhile to come over and greet us because he was engaged in a conversation with other servers. I'm not asking for much but acknowledge us. Plus maybe have more knowledge on basic drinks. I got the andouille red beans and rice ann the sausage was chewy and the skin was really tough. The heat on it was ok but the meat was just not the best. My friend had a chicken dish and it was dry. It was also very slow and there were not too many people there. My sister and I love Radio's. So much so that we spend most anniversaries and birthdays there with our large family. We are from Louisiana and find that the food is close to what we live from home. My mother was 1 of 22 children and we are too many to cook. I will say this is the last time we will make this our meeting place. My sister and I visited, coincidentally, but not shocking, some of our family members were already there and we chatted with them before moving to our own seat. We ordered appetizers as they were 1/2 priced and my sister wanted wings. My sister ate 3 of her wings and told me they were hard and dry. She opened the remainder of them to find they were dried and some had no chicken inside. We asked the waitress for our ticket and asked if while she was taking care of the ticket he would come over and we just wanted to show him the wings. We did want them for free just to advise him of the experience. The manager had the audacity to send the waitress back to the table and said sorry about the wings, if you had not eaten them we could have done something about it. She did not eat them wings they really weren't wings and we didn't not ask that any thing be done. I asked so he sent you and he's not going to address us and she said no he is not. So we left. What's more disturbing is that my husband and I just gave rave reviews to others a few months ago as 40~50 of our family and friends gave a surprise anniversary dinner at Razoo's. We were treated horribly, disrespectful, and very unprofessionally. My sister actually told me. She wanted Pluckers which is in the same parking lot and we went in and got seats because they specialize in wings but because I really wanted Razoos so we thanked the hostess and walked into Razoos worst mistake ever. read more

I go here about every other month. The drinks are always good and I have never been disappointed by the fried gator tail. I love that they have a basket or platter version, depending on how hungry I am. The atmosphere is loud but it's intended to make you feel like you are in the middle of a hurricane and I love it! Service normally sucks. Except Colten (spell check?) was AMAZING last time we went. Super personable, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. The atmosphere is more like a rowdy bar than a restaurant, the music was so loud that I could barely hear what my husband and daughter were saying the entire length of our meal. I asked them to repeat almost every word they said, and they had to raise their voice to a ridiculous level to be heard above the competing noises around the room. For those that party, or who used to, think of your time at the club with friends talking loud enough to be heard above the music and you will have some idea of what it is like to carry on a conversation at this restaurant. The meal had plenty of spice, too much actually, but lacked any real depth of flavor. So if you like a mouthful of black pepper as your throwing back brewskies, this is probably the place for you. I ordered a skillet combo which was served in a cast iron skillet, and the waiter warned me to be careful because it was hot. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. In fact, the skillet was room temperature, as was the food that was inside it. The decor intended to reflect a Cajun style; however, I found it obnoxiously overdone and in bad taste all the way down to the difficult to read menu. I will not go back. read more
