RB services my family's two C6's, an '06 and an '09 Z06. They've tackled all the typical stuff you'd expect, no issues there. They've also done some out of the ordinary things that have all worked out just fine so far. The '06 is an automatic and has the incredibly poorly designed transmission interlock that will prevent you from getting the car in and out of gear if a little $5 roller switch (literally) in the center console fails. Chevy of course also does not sell that switch as a part, you have to purchase the entire gear selector kit for $1200+. RB was able to take it apart and solder a new switch in for a fraction of the Chevy parts price, been going strong for a year now. On my Z06 they installed my aftermarket short throw shifter, 2nd gear bypass resistor, and a shim on the gearbox to make shifts easier. No issues there either. read more

I went in for brake pads and they told me I didn't need them but they sure did come up with $1400+ other things I needed. The mechanic was very nice but hard sales from the guy behind the desk. You need this and that. I declined most except 3 things. I actually went to Auto Zone and had one of the helpers there assist me with all the other things that RB wanted to charge me 150+ for. The washer fluid tank + RB = over 400. Autozone = 9.00. Even while the car was coming around the corner, I was told this and that and OH you should get this fixed. Calm down whatever your name is. He told me my tires were getting old and literally had new tires done one month ago and showed him receipt lol wow I Will NEVER go back to this place and will make sure people know they will scare you into believing anything just to make money. I had my 2001 PT Cruiser towed here and I thought that it was just my thermostat but upon further inspection AJ was on point he wanted to make sure that I wasn't wasting my money because if my head gasket was blown there was no use put no money in it. He reviewed my motor and called me and told me that my car was no sense in putting any money into it unless reputable company would have went ahead and done the work and just charged me but that's not the kind of business this is these people are honest trustworthy people. read more

RB Auto is the preferred choice when you have a Corvette in need of service. Russell, the owner, is a Navy veteran and a lifelong Corvette fanatic, and I couldn't think of anyone better to work on my car. I highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't trust the dealer with their highly modified car. AJ, whom I've worked with through several issues arising from the age of the car, was always a consummate professional, and the rest of the staff is equally professional. I brought my 2007 Corvette convertible with a ProCharger supercharger, Borla exhaust, fuel pump overbooster, etc. to them for all of my maintenance issues. I knew going in that there would be problems, and I guess it fulfilled those expectations well. I have taken the Vette to RB Auto Service several times to remedy some of the issues I didn't have confidence in a dealer to do. Namely, they have replaced the radiator, the fuel tank charcoal canister (repairpal.com/charcoal-canister), and performed a complete tune-up along with several other minor issue fixes. The charcoal canister was a doozy - in order to replace this component on a Corvette, you must first remove the gas tank(s). Canister $90.00, labor $1,900.00. That being said, they did a perfect job, and after the tune and the canister replacement, the car ran fine for about 9 months - very satisfied. When I later had a bunch of check engine lights - the downstream 02 sensor they installed after discovering the original modifier actually never bothered to install one on the custom Borla exhaust - I panicked. They repaired it under their Lifetime Warranty Guarantee, and again proved what consummate professionals they are. Again, if you have a problem with your Vette - they should be your first choice. I sold the mid-life-crisis-mobile now and I will use them again when/if I have an issue with my new (to me) 2016 GMC pickup since although they specialize in Corvettes and Cadillacs they also work on everything else too! (and yes I am a real Navy Veteran and yes I updated the exact same review in other spots because I appreciate these guys and it's the least I could do) read more

They go above and beyond to fix your vehicle and not gouge you. On top of that if they have to keep the car they'll offer an uber ride or a rental car! Isn't that just awesome. I brought my 91 Corvette limping in to them in the early morning around 8am. They took it in and offered me an Uber ride home which I'm my opinion is not only thoughtful but top not customer care. They assessed the problem within an hour or so called me with a quote and after I confirmed had it done for me in two days tops. It was a very labor intensive job so the time frame was shocking to say the least. They worked with me every step of the way and to my surprise when I entered my vehicle they even did a full detail on the interior!! Auto repair places seem to have a bad reputation for being unscrupulous and taking advantage of a naive customer. RB Auto Service is not one of those places. I have an 89 Cadillac that I unfortunately had serviced by a chain automotive place that seemed to have little understanding about servicing a car such as this, nor would admit responsibility for making the repair situation worse after their service. RB Auto Service told me what the problem was (along with what probably went wrong with the previous service) and told me about the repairs that were necessary along with the things that could wait for later. Very honest, down to earth and friendly, and my car stayed fixed afterward! They are a true companion in this automotive world. The absolute worst place to bring your vette for service. Mine was there for close to 2 months for a simple ecm reflash and install. They are thieves. My car was there so long I almost forgot why I brought it there. If you can find a shop elsewhere. do yourself a favor and go there. read more

Our vehicle in initially for noise issue, in process they found 3 other so called problems. Ending up with over $1500.00 out of pocket so far and still noise. Did not do the repair they said they completed and had to return again. Prices are extremely higher than dealership. Not please with service at all. read more

Great little two man shop that specializes in Cadillacs and Corvettes. The owner Russell is down to earth and quite knowledgeable on these platforms and is confident with years of experience. I personally was able to get in on short notice and have extensive work down within a day and a half. They repaired two oil leaks and replaced two active ride struts and rebuilt the fuel pump and fuel evaporation system with the latest upgrades. I will be back to install the big ZO6 calibers and rotors on the 07 escalade ext....These guys are on top of their trade and will save you $$$ instead of the dealer....They washed and vacuumed my work truck too.... read more

My passenger window one day suddenly stopped half way up and although I tried what I thought was every button to get it to move but sadly it would only go down but not back up and being new to the area I was not sure where to go so I simply searched for local repair shops and RB Auto Service thankfully was on the List nearby. So I drove there and although they were understandably busy however within 20-30 minutes they made the efforts to diagnose my issue. They discovered the window motor switch will inevitably need replacing however they did flip one of the switches I tried to get it working which I inadvertently turned off rendering the Window button to not work properly as it turns out I turned the switch off. My point here is they could of simply Not told me the whole honest story and presented a bill for replacement only whereby incurring a high Bill, but they have the Integrity to be HONEST enough to share the truth inevitably only having to pay a faction of what a shop without integrity would of charged.
