Those guys are great! I went to FIVE DIFFERENT SHOPS before they finally figured out what was wrong with my car!! So you bet they made me a customer for life! They also care about their customers and understand that people don't have extra money to spend on things their car does not need! These guys are quick and will only repair what needs fixing! They might provide a few suggestions at what might need replaced down the line, but they never pressure you to get anything fixed that day! They're super quick and affordable as well! Took my 2002 S430 to have the rear leveler adjusted to correct the ride height in the rear of vehicle. When I picked it up, ride height was the exact same. Cost me $105 for absolutely nothing. Very dissatisfied. Was told flat out that the ride height was increased by office manager, when clearly it did not change. read more

I had a great experience! The tech who worked on my car was honest and knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what was going on and provided a cost-effective solution. My car was making an intermittent vibrating noise. I'd taken it to the dealsership and they told me it was caused by rusted heat shields and quoted over 2k for replacing both shields and all the hardware and parts. I took it to Michelle's and the tech simply made some small adjustments to tighten the bolts, add a new bolt and add a clamp, and the noise is almost entirely resolved. He even showed me the exact parts that were causing the noise and explained everything. He said it isn't a safety issue and the shields don't actually need to be replaced. With his knowledge and honesty he saved me thousands of dollars! I'll certainly be back any time my car needs repairs. read more

I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment and I made one for Thursday morning of the same week. I had heard some rattling under my car and I wanted to get it checked out. I arrived at Michelle's for my appointment, and to be honest, I was a little steered away. The place looks a little dumpy (but cmon it's a mechanic haha). I went in the office/waiting room and there was a man behind the counter. He took my keys and got to work while I waited in the waiting room. He pretty quickly came back with an estimate for a repair he suggested. I was a little nervous about getting upcharged because I'm a younger gal and my boyfriend was at work, but they gave me a very reasonable deal for what I needed done. The mechanic was overly friendly or talkative, but answered all of my questions. I was there for almost two hours before I headed out. Rates are significantly lower than chains (must be possible with a lower overhead), and the repairs are on par if not better than what you would get at a "reliable chain". Have taken one car that busted a serpentine belt, and another with a blown radiator... both came back with better pricing, and great repairs that have lasted enough time to feel confident in bringing my cars back for future repairs. read more

Got from FL to CA with no issues afterwards. And quick turnaround. Highly recommend for st Pete locals. Recently I noted my car's brakes were becoming less responsive than normal. I brought it to a big name auto shop, and they gave me a $3,000 estimate for the repairs I supposedly needed. I brought it to Michelle's for a second opinion and am so thankful I did. Not only did they walk me through the repairs they thought were necessary, explained why the previous shop's 'diagnosis' was incorrect, and fixed the problem within a number of hours for $250.
