Ecobee doesn't require itself to be in the center of the house. The reason why I needed a new run was Ecobee DOES require a C line (power). The lady who answered (Sarah) - first of all identified herself as Grizzly heating and air - and when I asked her was this Lodi Services H/C, she said "No, I'm your smart assistant who can help you with all your needs." I then said "So you're not Lodi (S H&C)?" and she said "I can help you with all your heating and a/c needs". Sounded like an AI but I heard background noises that made me think she wasn't an AI. Sometimes people need to learn Customer Service. This was simply to run a 12' wire, go through a wall, and hook it up to a new thermostat. It was easy money in the bank (I would've paid HUNDREDS just to get it working)...yet cos they ACTED (or spoke words that INDICATED) like they were an AI, I hung up. They were so awesome, I'm shocked only 9! I called this afternoon and spoke with Heather. She was so understanding, compassionate, funny, and gave me a same day apt. When the tech got here (Victor was mind blowing knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and worked fast) he was able to spot the problem right away, and nail down the source to the problem. 4/5: Took 3 visits for the technicians to figure out what was wrong with HVAC…read more Juan came out first and thought it was the thermostat, I didn't think so because the code that keeps lighting up on my HVAC was 26, from the blinker light message which is the burner unit. Before the technician came out, I did tell Air Tech scheduler that I have to leave by 1130am that day for work and technician came around 9am. Anyway, when I got home from work, the heater didn't turn on because thermostat was set to a specific temperature and inside the house was at least 4-5 degrees colder. Over the weekend, I left a message and I think it was Kim who called back. 2nd Technician came out and it was Nathan. He had to leave and problem wasn't solved and he ran out of time and had to come back again which he needed authorization for so I don't have to keep paying for the same visit when the problem wasn't solved. 3rd Visit: Nathan figured it out and solved it. It did took them 3 visits which was almost 6 hours of my time with approx. 2hrs each time. I'm just glad Air Tech's technicians figured it out finally and didn't go with the MOST Expensive solution for the client first. I tried a different company before Air Tech and they definitely went with a more expensive solution to my HVAC problem. Overall, I'm still pleased with Juan and Nathan that they were able to solve my HVAC problem of why the heater wasn't turning on. I waited 2 weeks before giving a review to make sure my HVAC is working fine, which it is and that's what mattered most to me. The technicians were great! Knowledgeable and both Juan and Nathan didn't mind answer ALL my questions on HVAC and taught me few tips. I gave 4 out 5 because it took them 3times.

However I have always felt like they have gotten to me and my family as quickly as possible. I have had them out multiple times to multiple houses and they always stay until the problem has been solved. Recently I had a company come out and tell me I needed a new ac unit and before walking in to a ten thousand dollar expense I got a second opinion from smith hearing and air. Come to find out a line had become disconnected and it went from thousands to a few hundred dollars. Hopefully I won't be needing you for a long time but if I do I will definitely come on back.
