    Caesar, sweet potato fries, quesadilla
    Laura C.

Excellent dinner, a pleasant surprise. Maybe best quesadilla ever. Spicy in a good way. Get the extra veggies. The sweet potato fries were delicately crunchy on the outside. Good Caesar salad. Excellent salmon, the accompanying rice and vegetables perfect too. Thought we were going for a make do meal So nice.

Located inside the Radisson Hotel lobby. Small area of tables and a bar with about 5 seats. Clean and quiet but the bartender was very unfriendly. She had no service skills and I felt like i was interrupting her day by sitting at her bar a couple hours before close. I asked for a Cabernet and she poured me a white wine. I ordered the wings based on the suggestions of a couple others on Yelp. They were right. Fantastic flavor! I typically like all flats, but they wouldn't do that. No biggie. But they were a lot smaller than I'm used to. So overall, not a great dining experience, but good for some food or drink if you're staying at the hotel.

5* for using No HFCS ketchup. Bringing soft drink in the carafe . Great service 12/03/23. Thank u.

I ate two of these plates in one sitting. Fantastic. 5 stars.

Wings 5 stars. Ordered a second tray , never done that before anywhere. Easily ties for my best wings experience in the us. Not breaded , great flavor. Not overly hot but spicy. Beer not as cold as I'd like. Ambiance more metro than bar like. Service 5 stars. Fast and with a smile.

a plate of pasta and shrimp

This bar was at the hotel next door where we were staying. We had late dinner/snack there twice. It is set in a very clean, beautiful lobby. I was impressed the first time we went. We sat at the bar both times. As we are not drinkers. We just had a class of wine with dinner and it was a nice pour and fairly priced. The Cajun Penne Alfredo with shrimp we delicious. It is open until 11Pm and they will not rush you. Very nice bar.

Half price quesadilla hit the spot. Loaded with chicken and a pilsner was perfect for dinner. Nice and hot and the salsa was good too. Hope to get it again soon. Happy hour prices are a score.

Nice tasting wings. You get 10 descent size wings with good flavor. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your every need. I look forward to my next visit. It's good hotel food considering what's around the area.

I had 4 meals including lunch and three of them were at Blackwood. Not just for convenience but it's that good. The Blackwood Burger was out of this world and I should mention I had it twice including today. A perfect compliment were the fries. Almost like a lite Beer Batter. Very crispy and very delicious. After living in California for so long I told James ( The Best Bartender/Server/ excellent Employee) I wish that I had an Avocado to put on it. That was my Big Back talking. I'm still thinking about those Fries. If your in California think nobody has better.and you hit the mark. Back to th Burger. My first night there I had a chance to meet the Chef, who is said to have done a complete overhaul of the Menu. As you can see from the picture everything was fresh. I also had a chance to taste their Wings which by this point I expected to be not but great. No disappointment there for sure. The Wings are Smoked than a lightly fried to a Crisp. None of those Pigeon Wings either. These were huge Wings and they were exceptional. I believe there are four flavors and got the BBQ Rub. I don't look forward per se to visiting offers for any particular thing othan business, but I'll be staying at this Delta by Marriott on futur visits. I want to also mention that the Hotel Staff is second to none as well. I don't usually say, "I had a great time" on Business trips, but it felt like going home.complete with a hot meal. Thank you to Delta and Blackwood by Marriott for helping make my trip as well as my work completion a success. If you just so happen to live by here it's worth a shot. By the way a tried a Cocktail today made by James and let me tell you that Black.Berry Smash was outstanding. It took me back to my Drink on a Norwegian Cruise trip with the family. I had a seat at the end of the Bar and the Black Berry Smashes kept coming. James turned out to be able to make the perfect drink as well. I'll be back for sure. Y'all Holla' atchaboy'.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!
