All boards were stained on all sides prior to construction and protective tape was applied to the substructure so that there was no wood to wood contact. I contacted Central Builders for several projects…read more- new fencing for a 1/2 acre lot, a new deck, a new front walkway and a sump pump to stop our garage from flooding. The fencing bid was in line with the others I received but two of my three neighbors are refusing to replace the downed fences so that project did not move forward. I will write a second review for the new walkway and sump pump because this deck review is pretty long! The deck project - I had already had someone remove the old deck so Vic and his crew were setting the foundation and installing a new Trex deck. Vic went the extra mile in meeting my requests and multiple rebids and change requests before even getting the job. Excellent customer service before I was a customer. I had three other bids that were all at a much higher cost. After going to the lumber yard to see samples of the Trex boards and to select my color, I decided to upgrade the materials to the best and highest Trex boards. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the other bidders were so high. They bid the 2nd to lowest level Trex boards and then they nearly doubled the supply cost. Central Builders had a very reasonable mark up on the boards, especially considering they had to order it, pick it up and deliver it all to my location. The crew arrived on time every day. Kept the work area clean. Kept me informed throughout the process and started and finished when promised. They took extra care to make sure the deck was level and added an extra support for a very heavy plant pot that would be going in the rear corner. The job included adding LED lighting to the steps and accommodating my under house vents by cutting ventilation in to the deck supports. I had asked that the front of the deck be sealed in a way that would prevent skunks from getting under it. The crew not only added a wire mesh barrier under the facia board, they painted it black so it would blend in and not be obvious. And last but not least, in t he pictures, note the downspout to the deck. Vic altered and bought a proper end spout so we can attach a hose in the winter to redirect the water so we don't get moisture under the deck. Going the extra mile. Super happy with how this project went!!! I highly recommend Central Builders!

I needed some help fixing a few things in my trailer that I didn't have the time to deal with…read more Roman took care of fixing some leaking PEX fittings under the kitchen sink, adding silicone to the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, as well as fixing many of the cabinets in the trailer that had the glass fall out of them (the hot glue used at the factory degrades quickly and the glass just falls out!). There was a lot of water damage to the base of the island from the leaking PEX fittings, and I hired Roman to replace it, but instead of charging me for the bigger job he told me that it would be a lot easier to just cover the water damage with additional boards since finding the matching color would be really difficult. It looks just as good, and it saved me some money. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any future needs.

Will came out for a quote, he called ahead letting us know he's going to be a few minutes late (we really appreciated that he valued our time) gave us a very reasonable price, sent over a contract and scheduled the start three weeks out . Will is a stand up guy, he is nice, polite, easy to work with, answers your calls promptly, is on time, and keeps his word! the only thing that could of made our experience better is if Will educated us more about the different designs of decks and told us all our options -- it would be nice to have known about why picture framing is important to hide the cut ends of the deck and that fascia isn't included and is extra. But besides that we are so happy with our deck and recommend Will and his company to anyone !
