My gf recommend this place even though she had a RC from China that the axel broke and didn't have parts for . I wanted to buy a RA car for the first time . Also support my local small businesses. I knew nothing about them except for Traxxas Sponsors a NHRA car . Patrick was very patient and explaining to me and helping me pick one out . My 2 Nd run out I had a little problem with the axel and he showed me what had happened and got it rolling in no time . Recommend this place and Patrick thank you . We love are car .

They are knock off cars and parts are next to impossible to find if something breaks. No return policy, buy at your own risk

Victor is the best for customer service and advice!…read more Came here on a whim during Labor Day while driving through the area. At first I couldn't find the shop, the address sent me to the other side where there's a pharmacy - if you find the pharmacy you're in the right area, just go in the alley to the backside. They don't have big signage out their front door so it may be hard to find and it might look "closed" but if it's normal hours then you're probably in luck! The prices are somewhat reasonable - some singles and sealed products are at a decent price while some are just trying to match the market. But I get it, the shop needs to make money too. It sucks for the normal consumer/collector as we take the hit for the market prices. There seems to be a lot of singles to pick up - there's a good selection of cards on display and, if you ask, they have more binders with other singles that may not be as popular. Overall, I had a good experience with Victor. Very kind, super respectful, and ready to answer any and all questions. Will be back to shop some more in the future!

They let me look through all their binders and really have good prices that are affordable, especially in this economy. And this is like the only car shop where I've actually got hits from so I'd recommend. I would give five stars, but I've been here twice on a Tuesday and it's been closed both times but according to their Apple Maps it's open so yeah. But they have a big selection of cards you can choose from.

Why didn't I come here sooner? Hobby Lobby is now one of my favorite store to shop at. They had…read morespring items on sale for 50 percent off like plates, stainless steel and glass water bottles, planters, wall decor, wind chimes, toys, and so much more. My mouth dropped wide opened when I saw really good stuff on sale. They even had plain colored t-shirts for $3.25 each. My friends and I spent about an hour roaming around the store. So much to see with lots of options also for crafts. We spotted a section for clearance items where my friend bought plastic water bottles for $1.25 set of 3. So he bought two sets for $2.50. Such a great deal. We were all satisfied with what we bought at amazing prices. Can't wait to go back!

I went to return something and then browsed the isles to pick out some new items for my red, white and blue decor at home. (4th of July is my FAVORITE)!! What.A.Let.Down. A large majority of the items looked like complete trash. Many, MANY things scratched and scuffed up. I don't want to decorate with crappy looking decorations. A couple items were even ripped (see America sign photo). What the heck!? Who in their right mind would think it's ok to stock that on the shelves? I contemplated taking these items to someone but it would have likely filled the bulk of the cart. I wish I would have taken more pictures but you can see how bad just the few were that I took. Do better, Hobby Lobby. I really hope management sees this.

The ambiance can get a bit loud since there are table games happening behind the counter, but it's not really distracting. It actually adds a bit of energy to the place. The staff member who helped me had really good vibes, which made the visit even better. Definitely worth checking out if you're into cards. I'd recommend going in the afternoon when it's less busy so you can get the best experience and they value the card based on TCG player price!

Body language, eye contact, and tone are lacking. I understand the hobby demographic is not high class, but from the 4 visits I've had, the employees behind the counter show less care and attention. Probably a generational issue, but in business, that doesn't matter. Proper training should be issued. Though I am also sure they would use AI to formulate a "proper" response to any concerns or complaints about what they lack. Value wise: I requested to match or get close to market value from TCG player on product, and they rejected it statong that they dont follow market since they have to make money too "you know what I mean?" This has been a trend on LGS it seems, however one LGS in Artesia/Cerritos met my request despite card/cash payment. I'm pretty sure the script would later be flipped when the market goes up after supply drops with the response of "sorry marketing value is this so we follow that." If you can ignore all that, go for it. Otherwise just look for another store or go to Card shows.

Bad service and poor communication…read more I've been trying to catalogue my MTG collection lately. I drove 40 min to get to this shop because they have a machine that scans your cards. I paid the shop to rent the machine and waited for 2 hours. Then the staff told me "We made a mistake setting this up. We can't give you the scanned info, but leave your cards behind and your email address, and we can send them over. You'll just need to scan this thing we send you." I was uncomfortable leaving my cards behind because they're important to me. But I didn't want to walk away empty-handed. So I decided to trust them and I left my cards behind. I didn't hear anything for 4 days. I had to call them and they said "Oh the employee you were talking to got sick. If you want to pick up your cards you can do that though." I asked "How about scanning my cards?" and they said "We'll message the sick employee and call you back to let you know what he says". I waited 3 more days and they didn't contact me at all. I realized they weren't going to reach out to me to resolve the issue, so I had to drive down to the store to demand my cards back. I don't know who the person running the back of the shop is. Maybe the manager. Maybe the owner. All I knew is that they had context on the whole situation and knew that I had returned to get my cards. They didn't bother to come over to talk to me. They didn't even give me eye contact. They didn't make even a single attempt at improving the situation. Not even an offer for store credit. Not even a sorry. They just shrugged and yelled across the room "machine's broken". Then they went back to puttering around and left another employee to deal with me. This other employee had no context on the situation. All she could do was hand me a cash refund and give me a confused "Sorry...?" I was treated like I was an annoyance. Someone who'd go away eventually if you ignored them. Not a respected customer who just wanted to do business. I'm not mad that the machine was allegedly broken. I'm only slightly mad that the employees aren't trained on how to use the machine. I'm frustrated that I paid for a service and they didn't bother seeing the job through to the end. They didn't communicate when they decided to give up. I trusted them with my personal card collection and they betrayed that trust. I don't even know if I have all my cards back, but I'll never know. I came in needing to sell some Pokémon cards because life has been hitting me pretty hard financially. I wasn't expecting miracles, I just wanted someone to be honest with me and give me a fair deal. From the moment I walked in, Tien treated me with respect. He took his time going through every card instead of rushing me out the door. He explained everything, answered my questions, and genuinely wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible. You can tell he actually cares about the people who walk into the store, not just the transaction. What really stood out to me was that they listened to my situation. They didn't have to. They could've just made an offer and sent me on my way, but instead they worked with me and made the whole experience feel personal. They even helped make sure my son got to keep the cards that meant the most to him, which honestly meant more to me than they probably realize. A huge thank you as well to the supervisor (I think his name was Logan the one with the tattoos). He was just as friendly, respectful, and helpful. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We ended up walking out with close too $500, kept the majority of my son's collection, and left feeling like we had been treated fairly. That's a win in my book. I've read some of the negative reviews, and after my experience, I genuinely don't understand them. Maybe some people walk in expecting retail prices when they're selling to a business, but that's just not how buying collections works. I felt like I was treated honestly, fairly, and with kindness every step of the way. Thank you, Tien, and everyone at Hidden Collectibles. You helped my family more than you know. I'll definitely be back, and I'll recommend your shop to anyone looking for people who actually care.
