These guys were great I had a few things that I needed taken care of , but they didn't try to upsell me or push something I didn't need they simply fixed the issues I was having , they were very nice informative told me about everything even helped me out swapping out a tire without a charge (they swap my spare onto the trailer so I could get the tire I'm having an issue with looked at so I didn't have to Jack the camper up myself) I highly recommend checking these guys out when you need any service done on your RV they know what they're doing they do a good job they left no mess I've had other places and they left a big mess after the repairs this place is not like that at all and their prices are more than reasonable if you need service on your RV take it to rcd! read more

Jason Booth was FANTASTIC as our service rep. We have a gas motorhome and got the Platinum service package. It was at least $400 less than Camping World and included SO MUCH more! They serviced the hot water heater, fridge, water systems and the generator oil change was included! We got our coach detailed and Crystal coated, which is not even offered at Camping World and they did everything on my list and came in under budget. We'll be coming back every year for our annual maintenance even though it's an hour from home. read more

Buyers and service customers should be cautious under the guise of a reliable name in Avalon prior to 2023 purchase. Sorry this is long, don't beat on me, just drop out now. RCD dealer profit greed has left me feeling used and foolish, I felt compelled to put this long cautionary tale out on Yelp seeing practices haven't improved much in the past 2 years in other customer reviews. Maybe someone else will not be so trusting yes admittedly now, gullible, had to share take it public. Just recently 8/2025, I it hit me why "Avalon" wanted our checks. Unaware, they were bought out by a large supercenter, RCD, while our RV went in for service in 11/3/2023. Then, mega centers RCD used our money under "Avalon's" good name, making their new acquisition purchase look good and a chunk of money coming from us as hostages. Overall, our experience was incredibly frustrating. We finally received our camper back on July 26, 2024. To summarize, since 6/20/23, we have been put through at this point a myriad of repair promises, delays too numerous to even count anymore, personnel issues and turn over at the dealership causing more delays - which should never be a customer's delay problem but a goal for the dealership to make right especially almost a year after the first contact, numerous false dates of parts ordered by many staff and scheduled RV return to us dates as early as end of 2/2024, bumping 6 weeks every time we asked, none that were kept. I could detail much more from my notes on this journey, but let's just keep it simple for Yelp. Notably,upon long awaited 2024 return as well as loss big $$ on our seasonal site being empty all year, we discovered issues. To name a few; he seals were not fully finished can see daylight through the back door, the windows were sagging, the rig needed cleaned, smeared cabinets/tables, etc a ton of dust / debris inside, carpet was now worn somehow, some odd sand under the wallpaper in places, seal came off the arms of the awning, water heater door was supposed to be new - nope it was a dented one and there was an unusual haze like clearcoat overspray in the interior & sliding door that we were unable to remove and we received a different recliner with a cracked material on the back. We rarely use the recliners, it is likely it was sitting around & that they had swapped ours with someone else during the almost 9 month wait or damaged in transit. In the end why let RCD take it again, just got it back we gave up corporate greed wins. Thought in 2024, it's time to get a different rig and wash our hands of it; well maybe but still a year later, interest rates went sky high since covid, still waiting. I'm sure if anyone responds, it will be a "canned response" or we would have made it right upon return. Honestly, I don't have another 9 months of time OR patience, to wait to be ghosted and lied to again, but I can share to others to be cautious. read more

Sold us a new park model last year. Had major issues with slides and electrical issues, which they were well aware of. Told us to call in the spring to set up a service call, and now they tell us we'll have to bring it in. The same head of service which we spoke to numerous times suddenly didn't remember us. How convenient. Again, it's a park model. They delivered it. As always, their so quick to sell you something, but after that, too bad. I'm so fed up with false promises. General RV is just as bad. To my best knowledge I gave enough time and opportunity for the dealer to try to correct their actions/misactions. I made multiple calls to the service and sales to find out who and how my trailer was inspected. The answer from the one of the service tech I received that everything to blame for is the long haul (1700 miles from the dealer to my house) I could not reach either service manager nor sales manager who are ultimately responsible to solve my concerns and discuss how they do pre inspection and if there is any quality control I think my mistake that I did not request walk through and demo of all functions video from the dealer before sending the money. I bought it online. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach out service manager and sales manager, I finally got a call from the sale manager Scott Miller , today Thursday 5/28/20 ( the trailer was delivered on Sunday May 24/20), who started his conversation on a high note, rude and with explanations he does not care what I say, and giving me 3 seconds to say "yes" or " no" for his dealership to find me a warranty repair dealer, I decided not to continue conversation with with someone who is not able to handle his anger temper and I ended conversation and decide to seek manufacture attention and someone who can help to give a lesson how to communicate with customers and reinforce dealer duties. I can agree that the battery cover could be stolen, the plywood got detached from a long haul, but the rest is not possible Closed ducting in the AC , improper lowering bunk bed mechanism, missing switch LED light those things are not something I could blame truck driver or long haul I made few quick clips of all I found initially. Here is the list of them: 1. Passenger side storage compartment LED light is not turning on. 2. Front exterior LED light is not working, I could not find any switch that could turn it on. It seems like panel with outside light switched has knobs and only two works. 3. Top bunk bed covering plywood panel is detached (white color) 4. Dinette chairs /bed are not able to lower all the way to the ground, about 4-5 inches still above the floor 5. Molding around entrance door it detached on the TV side 6. Bottom of the one of two tables is scratched and painted with unmatched paint 7. Ceiling plastic strip is cut short that it leaves an 1 inch long hole near the edge of the ceiling. 8. AC and furnace turns on simultaneously . There is no air flow in the bathroom from the black furnace duct and no air flow in any white ducts for the AC. 9. Top bunk bed is missing 2 decorative buttons , only 3 left, but I see two holes for those two missing , like there were ripped off. Bought a new Roadtrek in June. We've had it in twice. First time for 3 weeks. Second time this November 8th, they still have it. It has a leak, a door that laminate is lifting that we asked to have replaced in August and a non working induction stove. They are telling us that they can't get the replacement stove. But Roadtrek tells us they have them in stock. We are paying a thousand dollars a month and don't have a vehicle!!! Poor customer service, poor communication, buyer beware!!! read more

My husband and I purchased an $70k 42 view from this place. We were forewarned that their service sucks by others. We decided to give them a chance. Sean was great through buying, financing was fine. They had our camper 2 weeks before scheduled delivery. The patio door drape was frayed so they ordered a replacement. However, wrong size and nobody installed it to know. Now we have to wait for them to order the correct size. The large bedroom shade will not go up by itself so you have to physically lift it up and wait for it to roll. We were given instructions by Amanda how to fix it. After 4 days of getting camper delivered noticed water under the bathroom underbelly. Discovered the shower was leaking and of course wetting the wood. Can get ahold of Amanda because number always goes to voicemail so you have to text and wait. Sent tech out (since he was already at our campground looking at another Avalon trailer brand new needing fixed) and the water connection to shower needs replaced. Had to wait 2 more days for them to get "approval" from Forest River. Meantime, we are paying $2500 a season to stay in a brand new camper we just made the first payment on and we cannot even stay there since you cant turn the water on. Finally, after texting Amanda, the Service mgr Greg, calls and says approval from FR is good. Now we have to wait 5 more days for tech to repair it. We have owned this camper 3 weeks and stayed 3 days in it. This place is a complete joke and I am getting frustrated and impatient. read more

Traveling and needed some wiper blades. Found we were close to this place. Called ahead to see if they have them to fit our motorhome and was told "we have really long ones". We went ahead and stopped. Thankfully they did have them. However, the parts department has NO customer service. Maybe it was just because we were passing through and they knew they would never see us again. It was a very difficult place to get in and out of and they didn't seem to willing to try and help us get out. Thankful they did have the wiper blades we needed. read more

We bought our first RV, a 2021 Forest River Sunseeker 3010DS at Avalon. After searching other dealers in and out of the area, the price could not be beat. The entire staff took extra time answering our questions and concerns before during and after the sale. A recent road trip discovered some minor problems as a result of production issues. So our first inquiry was the rock bottom price, and if it looked as nice as the photos since it was used. Shawn Thrasher was the rep that took our call and was in contact with us through the whole process. We had a lot of questions since we would make a 222 mile trip one way and he was excellent to explain all the details and his personal confirmation that this camper was indeed as nice as it appeared. I purchased a 2016 Salem Villa from Avalon RV in Medina, Ohio on 9/14/2016. The trailer was delivered by Avalon RV to Holiday Camplands in Andover, Ohio on 9/18/2016. On delivery, the furnace fuse was blown. The next day, I purchased a new fuse and attempted to replace. When the ends of the fuse touched the panel, it immediately sparked and blew. I reported the issue to Avalon RV on 9/19/2016 but the service department was closed. I called again on 9/21/2016. I contacted Avalon RV again multiple times on 9/22/2016, but did not receive a return call until 9/24/2016 after I e-mailed the General Manager on 9/23/2016. On 9/24/2016, the service department informed me that they only service units in a 50-mile radius of their shop. They offered technical assistance over the phone. On 9/25/2016, I paid out of pocket for a local electrician to troubleshoot the issue. He found that there are likely two short-circuits in the wiring and possibly a bad electrical board in the furnace compartment. The product was delivered in this condition, and now the dealership is not only non-responsive, but is refusing to service a product that was damaged upon delivery. read more

Avalon was always my wife and my go-to service center for our RV but will no longer be. We had one major repair (rear A/C) and several minor repairs we wanted to be done this spring. We brought the coach to Avalon, in advance, so they could get the information needed to order the correct A/C, to have it in-stock for the scheduled installation. When we brought the RV in for the second time, at our scheduled repair date, we were informed they were unable to get ahold of the manufacturer to get the new model number and order the part. They never called us to say not to bring it in for the repair since they did not have the A/C unit. This would now be two wasted trips to the dealership. I was able to get through to the manufacturer within two days, ultimately providing Avalon with the part number they needed. We rescheduled the repair, allotted one week (M-F) for all the work to be completed. The A/C was finished on the first day. The pricing was not given to us until the last day, without enough time to perform any of the additional repairs, yet we were charged $300 for that pricing. We had made several un-returned phone calls throughout the week about the pricing. So in the end, we drove the unit to Avalon two useless times, first to get the A/C ordered in advance, that never happened, and the second was to have the A/C installed, that they never ordered. Neither time receiving a phone call, notifying us of the situation. Then we were without the RV for a week, waiting on pricing to make repairs, that we did not receive until the last day, too late for the repairs. I discussed our grievances with Zach Hadley, the service director, but in the end, did not feel he was willing to provide restitution worthy of our inconveniences. Because of Avalon's lack of communication with us and their perceived lack of caring for the satisfaction of their clients, they will be last on our list of service centers to use in the future. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Avalon RV Center. Due to unusual circumstances, our maiden voyage in our Roadtrek CS Adventurous XL had to be a 7700 mile cross country and back trip. We had no chance to shake down our coach before leaving and found out right away that our generator was not charging our Li-ion batteries properly. We had to drive 2/3 of the way across the country in 20 degree temps before we could find someplace that would work on our problem on short notice. That place was Avalon. They indicated they were slammed with work but agreed to squeeze us in a day after we called. When we arrived we were met by the service manager (Jeff LoGuidice) personally, along with his top technician (Joel Kent, a guy with 30+ years of experience, all at Avalon). Joel diagnosed an intermittent charging problem (the toughest kind to suss out) and fixed it in a couple of hours. We continued on our way with no problems whatsoever afterwards. All of the people we interacted with were extremely helpful and most personable. I don't think I've ever gotten better service on anything I've ever purchased. I contrast Avalon's response to our needs with that of La Mesa RV in Davis, California, where we bought our coach for $152,000. When we called them to address a number of warranty issues, they initially scheduled our appointment for us that was four months out. They've had the coach for five weeks now and it's still not ready to be picked up. And this is for a number of relatively minor issues that they should have been able too fix in a couple of weeks max. I understand that many RVers encounter frequent problems getting quality service for their vehicles, particularly when they are on the road. Normally you get better service where you bought your vehicle, but in our case we got far better service from Avalon, where spent no money, than we did from the place we spent $152,000 buying our coach. That's backwards!!! I commend Avalon for the great job they did. Buy from them and I doubt you'll regret it. read more

Bought a 2018 Sunseeker 32 RV had tons of issues with it converter burnt up then microwave and outside tv. Another trip shower lines busted . Last trip water lines on under side broke. Had 1400 miles on when we sold it . which half was taking back to dealer to fix issues while at the dealer their guard dogs chewed up my fenders .i did buy extended warranty on that one due to price thank goodness... Then dummy me bought a 2019 Salem 33 ft . I didn't buy the warranty....So far converter went out outside speakers are junk brittle and air conditioning went out. Also store had bad elements which caused gas leaks . The most recent issue floor is turning colors called Avalon and they said they have heard of it . It is the glue used at factory coming through and discoloring floors. The service rep. very rude at times not caring . Said I didn't buy the warranty so forest river won't help me . I guess the fact I bought two in less than two years means nothing to Avalon !! It was a few months after the year for god sake it's a 2019 I wouldn't recommend them to anyone ever again. As long as your buying and it's on someone else's dime the act like they care . The service department needs some classes on guest service and customer compassion... read more

Avalon RV is the very first RV sales and service dealer that has proven to be completely honest, reliable, ethical, and friendly in both the sales division and service division that my wife and I have had experience with. I am not going to get into previous horror story incidents with other dealers (if you want the ugly details I am including my email address at the end) but will speak only to what my experience has been with Avalon RV in the service department and the sales department. Jeff LoGuidice, Service Manager, took in my 2801QS Forest River Forester for warranty work which had passed the two year warranty period but were items that were not repaired properly. They not only repaired those items that were on my list but did additional work that was noticed by the technicians free of charge. Even though they were not high cost items, that was a huge indicator to me regarding the ethics and reliability of this department. I WILL NOT take my motorhome to any other dealer for service of any kind as I fully trust this organization and how they operate. Every person that I communicated with in this department was friendly, helpful and made sure my needs were met. The only negative thing that I can say is that getting scheduled in requires a bit of a wait.......but, if you go to a really good doctor, you will also have a wait. Kim Paulino, Sales Consultant, did a wonderful job in working with us in purchasing a new motorhome. She was very honest with us in everything she said, was not pushy in any way over the phone or in person. If she did not know something, she said so and said, "I will find out." She did find the answer and would call us on every occasion----and there were many. She went to bat for us regarding our trade-in and was helpful in seeing things went smoothly. If we were to buy another RV, Kim would be our choice to work with. One last example of the quality of the organization: After purchasing the new motorhome, I broke part of the driver side mirror. Entirely my fault. I told the parts department what happened. Mia, parts department, said, "Let me contact Forest River and see if we can get this taken care of under warranty since you just purchased this." Sure enough, I got a call back that it was approved and they immediately ordered me a new mirror. This is a company where from top to bottom their policy is the customer comes first. We have purchased our 3rd Salem travel trailer at Avalon in 6 years. The first was a used bunkhouse to get back into camping. We quickly traded in for a NEW 2014 27RKS enjoyed that for 4 years, then at the 2018 R V show we trade for a 2018 RKS. The staff at Avalon is top notch starting with Mike our salesman, who sold us all 3 trailers, Jeff the service manager, who treats us like friends or family, Doug the service write up manager who also treats us great. Purchased 2019 Forester Grand Villa 42DL in June. Salesmen was easy & great to work with. Let us spend time in the unit before we purchased it. Before we signed papers the bathroom mirror needed replaced, and was. Had a "walk thru", was shown what was what. Oven wasn't lighting, was told that it would work when we picked it up. Told salesmen we can pick up trailer when we return from vacation, oven should be working when we picked up. Signed paperwork, gave bank information for deposit, monthly payments, etc. Came back from vacation had 12 phone calls from Avalon on my phone asking about when we are dropping off deposit & when we were going to pick up trailer, nothing about oven being corrected. I called and left several messages with no phone call returned until I called the Finance lady and told her what was going on. Needless to say, They never called me to let me know trailer was ready (it actually wasn't) I showed up with my driver that I paid HOPING that my trailer was ready. I get there and they stated YES, everything was fixed, its ready to go. I was unable to verify if it was. I get to campsite, and there was damage to my NEW camper. 4" gash in my new flooring that Avalon tried to get fixed using my warranty with Forester, Greg stated they will only Patch the area. Patching a waterproof high traffic floor will only cause more issues. I didn't purchase a Damaged trailer, and they refuse to fix it. Screen door was bent, air conditioner was not properly installed, Additional holes around oven showed up, camper wasn't cleaned, antenna wasn't hooked up, Screens were not properly placed in windows, broken pieces of mirror on bathroom floor, among other issues, Maintenance guy Dave was the ONLY good person who explained how and what and fixed what he was allowed to fix. Service Manager Greg lied to me on the phone, Manager of the store could care less about the damage on the floor their guy created. I would NOT recommend purchasing ANYTHING from this store. I have been asked multiple times where I purchased this camper, I could of sold 40 of these myself, told them to go elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE. Once you sign off, they do not care. While traveling from Wisconsin to Ohio, we discovered our front window had been hit by a rock and cracked. Knowing we had to travel to Florida in a month, we thought we would get it fixed before we left. So we stopped by Avalon RV Center (largest RV dealer in Ohio) and talked to a Becky in the Parts Department. She wanted me to give her the dimensions of the window and the vin number so she could check with the manufacturer Forest River. I called her back later in the day and gave her the information she required. She told me it may take two days and she would call me back. Well one week later after not hearing anything, I called and was told she was on vacation. They had me leave a voice mail message for Mark in Parts Department which I did. After a few days and not hearing from Mark, we stopped by again and talked to Mark in person. I gave him all the same information and was told he would call me back after contacting the manufacturer. Well the call never came. I contacted Forest River myself and was given the part number and cost of the window. Seemed pretty easy to me to get the information. So now we are leaving Ohio with a cracked window, taped with gorilla tape hoping it holds until we get home. So thanks Avalon for some great service! We are not happy campers! read more

When they sold me the RV they said I would have free dump station and be able to access propane easily. As of last year they said regulation changed and now do either. With dump stations being $10 now this is probably be more than $100 a year. They should get up to regulations and honor what they promised when selling the RV very disappointing read more

Buyers Beware of Full Body Paint!!!! - Especially From Avalon RV I purchased a new 2014 Sunseeker full body paint 32ft class C motor home from Avalon RV in January of 2015. The purchase price was around 80,000. We have had numerous issues with the RV. The most frustrating has been the paint peeling. The RV was taken back twice to have several areas repainted under warranty. The second time it took several months to get an appointment. I was told by Avalon and Forest River that the paint issue would be continued to be addressed once out of warranty if it continued to peel. Full body paint is around a 7,000 option. Recently it started to peel once again and looks terrible. It starts at the top and peels down the coach. I contacted Avalon and spoke with Jeff from the body shop. Jeff thought that it would be covered but had to contact his general manager. Here is Jeff's response after apparently speaking with his general manager:" since it is an area over sealer that is peeling, we cannot guarantee it to not happen again. As bad as it sounds, it seems to be a normal situation on full body paint. We can send you some touch up paint to color it where it is peeling. Unfortunately, it is not something we can repair multiple times when we know it will eventually peel again. This is more of an issue of "why did the factory do it this way". It's just a Bad design, that was repaired to their Oem specifications and warranty instruction." I spoke with general manager Scott Miller on 12/9/16. Scott was not willing to help me in any way and said that full body paint models have done this for years and that I was the first person he knows of that has complained about it. Scott refused to repair the unit again. I asked him why he sells full body paint models when he knows they do this. He said because people like them. So that's what you can expect once Avalon RV gets your 80,000 and your warranty is up on an ongoing issue which was never repaired correctly in the first place. Scott wants to blame the factory but certainly did not try to facilitate a repair this time through Forest River. Avalon also incorrectly installed an ice maker earlier this year and incorrectly rewired my hitch. Mistakes that caused me to spend well over 500 to correct while on vacation. We purchased a 2017 Salem Destination Model 38.5 FLBH. After 2 weeks the cabinet panel separated and we filled out the repair request and agreed to have it repaired in May 2018. When the campground opened in May of 2018 the kitchen faucet was leaking. I stopped into the shop to request that both these issues be repairrd, May 12th to be exact. The service department said they would order a new faucet and come out and replace. It is June 11th, 2018 and still waiting! !!!! read more

Avalon needs training on how to treat their customers. My husband and myself had our RV picked out - wrote up the offer - had our walk through and then ended up leaving without our new camper. What the salesperson originally offered for our trade in was relooked at and then decreased to an astronomically lower amount. This was not vocalized until AFTER we had completed our walk through our new camper. Needless to say, we left without our new camper. With that being said, we went to a different dealership and found an even better camper with an even better offer. Our new camper has more options than the one we had picked out from Avalon. It all worked out in the long run, but we will never do business again with Avalon. read more

Winn our sales rep was wonderful! He was very accommodating to our schedules and very patient with us during our decision making process. Winn was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed doing business with him. The finance woman was a little rough around the edges and a little pushy, this made it a little frustrating when it came time to sign the papers. classic bait and switch salesman double checked availibilty of motorhome and assured me it was still for sale so I drove from Pittsburgh cash in hand found an extra driver look at unit liked it go into office to start the paperwork and before I could sit down another salesman entered and said that I could not buy unit someone had put a down payment on this unit but financing wasn't approved and that I could not purchase EVEN THOUGH I HAD CASH horrible experience read more

In 2016 we bought a DRV Mobile Suites from Avalon. We travelled 400 miles after seeing the coach on the internet. We made the deal and had 2 solar panels added with 2 extra batteries. We picked it up 2 months later and travelled to a local campground for our trip home. On the way we noticed that all 4 hubcaps had come off. At the campground we noticed that the residential refrigerator was not working. We returned to Avalon to make everything good. They got new hubcaps. They said the icemaker was bad so they robbed another unit and put one in ours. They assured us when we returned a month later that everything was fixed. We picked up the trailer. The hub caps stayed on and we made the 400 mile trip home. We we got home we noticed that the residential refrigerator was not working. Avalon said it was, We called a service technician who came to our home and repaired the refrigerator, under warranty, while the 5th wheel was in our driveway. We put the trailer in storage briefly for the winter. We noticed that the batteries were not staying charged by the solar panels. We called a local RV dealer about an hour away and they took us in to take a look at the solar panels. The panels and the controller were not wired correctly. Once fixed they worked fine. However, the repair cost a little over $500. We contacted Avalon to help us with the cost of this repair and they have continually not responded or offered any help. DRV Mobile Suites and Elite Suites are great 5th wheel coaches. However, I would not buy one from Avalon RV Center in Medina, Ohio. read more

It was the week before Labor Day and I was travelling across country in my RV when I had an unfortunate encounter with a Sunoco gas station sign. I goggled RV centers and came across Avalon RV Center. I called them and asked if it was possible to bring over my RV to check and repair the damage. The receptionist, Gay, checked with Jeff LoGuidice, the service manager, and she told me to bring it right over. I had no idea where I was and Gay gave me directions to the center. She was very patient when I got lost a couple of times and called back again for directions. When I got to Avalon, they got my RV right in and checked out the damage. Keep in mind, that this was during one of the busiest weeks for RV centers because lots of people bring their RVs in for work before the final big outing of the year. They assessed the damage, did the repairs and got me on my way within two hours. About an hour after getting on the road, the heavens opened up and I drove through downpours. If they had not accommodated me, I would have sustained significant interior damage from the roof leak. But the story doesn't end there. While I was waiting for the repair, I brought my needlework into the waiting area. Being a bit rattled because of the accident, I inadvertently left my needlework and case at Avalon. The project I was working on is going to be an heirloom for one of my grandchildren and was very dear to me. When it was discovered, Jeff called me and asked me where I was. I was many miles away, so he volunteered to send it to me. I was so grateful, and told him I would pay him for the postage. When I received the package, I called Jeff to thank him and reimburse him for the postage. He told me to forget about it and he was glad to help out. I cannot stress how wonderful these folks were. Their kindness and help turned a very upsetting and stressful situation into a manageable problem. And the return of my needlework saved me countless hours because I didn't have to start all over again. I highly recommend Avalon RV Center and would not hesitate having work done in the future. Kudos to Jeff and Gay and the service techs who worked on my RV. You really saved the day. read more

Buyer Beware... I typically don't comment on businesses, but I felt the need to pass along my experiences for others to be aware of who they are dealing with at Avalon RV. We purchased a 2007 motorhome from Avalon and were upsold from fabric seats to "leather" - 2 front captain's chairs and 1 recliner. Avalon stated that the best option was to upgrade from fabric to leather as it would last longer. We have less than 12,000 miles on the RV so the problem didn't appear until the past year. The seats are in bad condition... wearing "leather" is flaking off - found out it is vinyl. Called Four Winds and Flexsteel and they say that it is out of warranty and nothing can be done, but they pointed me back to the dealer who originally sold the vehicle and upsold (over $1,000) us on the seats. We have documentation (spec/feature sheets) that indicates the material is leather... this was provided by Avalon during the sales process. Avalon even upsold us on a Xzilon Gold Program - extended coverage for Fabric and Vinyl/Leather for 5 years. Even with this additional protection the outer covering on the seats are flaking away. We went to Avalon the weekend of August 20th and spoke with our salesman who told me to call back to speak to the General Manager as he was too busy to talk with me at the showroom. I spoke with Scott Miller and explained the issue and that I was hoping they could assist with a remedy as the material they sold me was not as advertised. Scott interrupted me and stated that it was "comical" and started laughing at me on the phone - stating it was comical that I would discuss such a thing that the RV was 9 years old. I told him that I wouldn't have had to call and follow up on this if they would have sold the correct product initially and standby an big error in the product they sold. My parents have a 20 year old Mustang that has leather seats and they don't have any issues. This again would not be a problem if the correct material was used and the dealership would stand by the product they sold. Scott continued to laugh and interrupt me as I attempted to explain the situation. He then told me that I was not allowed to come back into the showroom and that I was banned from bringing in my RV for service in the future. I am in sales and would never treat a customer like this no matter what the situation. Again, I am not in the habit of posting comments, but felt I needed to provide this information to other consumers to open their eyes to the type of business that is being run at this dealership. They were very nice prior to us signing the contract, but thereafter they ignored us when entering the showroom and then ultimately treated me extremely horrible when I attempted to just talk with them.
