My wife and went to rd's burgers for the first time. before we went there we made a call to the restaurant to see if it was ok for me to take my theraphy dog. who ever answered the phone said that yes we could. when we arrived there was a white person sitting by the door and made these stupid eyes to who would probably only be her husband. now this is where it becomes {racial} cause now i know because the white person complained 3 times to get us removed from the place. here is who i am I AM AN AMERICAN VETERN WHO is disable with letter from the Veteran Administration the say my dog can sit with me.`the person on the register came to tell us to leave. but my wife telling the register person we were in compliance. does not matter we need to leave the white person that did the compain was smirking. racist run the this area of CIBOLO. This place is close to home and has good reviews so I gave it a try. The room has the charm of a tire shop. The monster burger is large in terms of diameter rather than thickness. It was super juicy and well seasoned. It tasted like quality albeit high fat content beef. I didn't realize till after I ate it that they forgot the cheese. If I didn't notice then I guess it didn't bother me. The fries are thin cut and were so hot I had to let them cool before I could eat them. This is a solid option for quick cheap eats. I give this place about 3 stars...I can't say that I'm a huge fan of the interior design or plastic utensils and styrofoam cups for dining in. The customer service wasn't all that great either. However, it's a simple burger place and the meat and cheese looks better than the other corporate chain's around the area. It's a good portion for the price. I am a little sad that they didn't have gluten free bread but that's okay, most places don't in smaller towns. I'm only visiting for a bit before the fall semester starts again. I took a gluten pro enzyme for this visit with my folks. The fries and buns were nice and crisp-which is great. I like when the bread is toasted. However, after I took my first bite, my burger was a little soggy because they sliced the tomatoes too thick. I've had better crafted burgers. However, I have also had worst experiences.
