Easy to find. Lots of parking. Good selection of wood, windows and doors. Furniture is in bad shape, but prices are fair.

I used to go to the Reuse near Pier1 all the time. I a glad that they moved close to my home. The news location seems to be bigger and more organized. I went recently to refresh my mind on what they offer. You kinda have to get lucky here and find something that you can utilize. Lot's of obsolete stuff and furniture and fixtures from hotels. They even have unfinished wood for furniture makers. It us worth stopping by because you may run into something rare and unique that you can utilize.

New location of Reuse Hawaii for all your used and donated DIY and crafting needs if you have the time and skill. Helpful place to find items that may help with your next project. Save the environment and take your pick of some household items. Some items are more expensive than I expected though for being very used. For example, several of the chairs would need new upholstery and cost more in the long run compared to just buying a new chair. The "nice" ones were close to $100 which I found to be too expensive for a used chair. We wanted to see the new location to see if they had any items we might want to help furnish our place, but we didn't come home with any purchase. LWould be helpful if you had a truck or bigger vehicle. Plenty of parking and busy on a Saturday.

Coffee table and wooden entertainment center plus the wall repurposed shiplap feature wall. All from this Re-use Hawaii location.

We were very impressed of how well the merchandise is categorized and easy to sort thru. This new location is such an improvement from the previous "KAKAAKO" location. The manager "Ariel" keeps such outstanding organization it makes for a pleasant visit every time. We always find treasures with ease!

New Location (Salt Lake) Store Entrance Dec 2024

New location in Salt Lake near Ice Palace/Aloha Stadium as of December 2024. Lots of free parking and lots of selection of gently used furniture and box springs and supplies like windows, paint, cabinets, lumber, flooring, and appliances. They have a free section as well. Restrooms are located to the right after entering. They are single stall restrooms and are clean and spacious. The women's restroom had a changing table but it looked locked up for some reason. The floor space is very spacious and well organized! Prices seem very reasonable--I was surprised at how affordable the furniture was. There are also smaller trinkets like door locks, plates, cups, knives, and Christmas tree holders.

I recently visited Reuse Hawaii and was really impressed by the amount of furnitures and household items they've had. Located at the Stadium Marketplace where the old Sack N' Save used to be. As a creative person myself, I was ecstatic of all the refurbishments I could totally do in order to make my selections feel newer. There is nothing wrong with saving your buck by fixing up a furniture at your own desire for your own space. Some of the quality and materials were sturdy and top notch! If you're looking for something to work on or want to start a project on for your home, I feel that you should check them out!

Coming here is like treasure hunting, you never know what kind of goodies you will find. Help save our planet by purchasing re-usable household items and materials. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking and very accessible to everyone since it's directly across the street from Aloha Stadium. Once you come here, you will be instantly hooked!

What's great about ReUse? Tiles! Shopping for tiles can be a pretty expensive ordeal, especially when you're purchasing from Home Depot or Lowe's. And even more so if you're renovating your bathroom. Those mosaic shower tiles are expensive! Cost the same to tile the entire floor of your living room and bedrooms. Luckily, Re-Use has a large variety of tiles that's most helpful for bathroom renovations because you don't need a lot tiles. All the tiles they receive are donations or extra materials from renovations, so there's wouldn't be enough to tile an 800 sq ft condo, but a 60 sq ft bathroom will do! Tile 6'' or less is only 10 cents each! I found tile here that were selling at Home Depot at 8 times the price. Paint is another item Re-Use carries a lot. All the paint here are as close to new as you can get. For me, if it's a nice color, then why not? I don't want to spend time looking at 250 shades of blue. Overall, Re-Use definitely "cleaned up" the place. More organized, open, clean, and with better items. An excellent place to get what you need at a fraction of the cost.

The prices here are ridiculous. I've seen items here that cost less new at the store. I won't waste my time here any more.

I am soooo glad that I hired Mokoi Masonry for several jobs at two homes in the same neighborhood:…read more1) 2-tier retaining rock wall, 2) underground 2-pipe drainage system around 3 sides of a house, 3) vinyl fence and lockable gates, 4) small jobs of patching a hole in a concrete wall and leveling an uneven sidewalk area. Here are my praises about hiring Mokoi at every step of the process: --Estimate and Proposal: Owner Viliami Mokoi came to inspect the work to be done, offered his recommendations from his years of experience, and put the specific descriptions of the work to be done in a written proposal (total of 4 proposals), including details I wanted to add, such as locks on the vinyl gates and installing a mailbox in the wall. I tried to obtain estimates from other contractors, but no one else was willing to do all the work such as removing roots and foliage and running underground pipes on all three sides of the house for the drainage system. --Superb Workmanship: I am still admiring the 2-tiered rock walls that are beautiful and solid (see photo). To install the underground drainage system, the crew had to use heavy equipment to excavate the jungle surrounding the house and haul in gravel to cover the pipes. The area is now clear and spacious with a hidden drainage system ready for heavy rain from hurricane and Kona low storms. Manoa rain and worker shortages caused delays in work, but the crew made up time by working hard and fast when they could. During the whole time, Vili texted to me about the progress of the work and promptly answered my questions. I am very pleased with the final products of the built walls and installed drainage system as well the patched concrete wall and leveled sidewalk. --Five Star Clean-Up: The crew hauled out all the piles of debris from the jobs and even swept up. Very much appreciated! Mahalo nui loa, Vili and your crew, for your great work product, great work ethic and great communication! I highly recommend Mokoi Masonry!
