Easy to find. Lots of parking. Good selection of wood, windows and doors. Furniture is in bad shape, but prices are fair.

They even got unfinished wood for furniture

I used to go to the Reuse near Pier1 all the time. I a glad that they moved close to my home. The news location seems to be bigger and more organized. I went recently to refresh my mind on what they offer. You kinda have to get lucky here and find something that you can utilize. Lot's of obsolete stuff and furniture and fixtures from hotels. They even have unfinished wood for furniture makers. It us worth stopping by because you may run into something rare and unique that you can utilize.

New location of Reuse Hawaii for all your used and donated DIY and crafting needs if you have the time and skill. Helpful place to find items that may help with your next project. Save the environment and take your pick of some household items. Some items are more expensive than I expected though for being very used. For example, several of the chairs would need new upholstery and cost more in the long run compared to just buying a new chair. The "nice" ones were close to $100 which I found to be too expensive for a used chair. We wanted to see the new location to see if they had any items we might want to help furnish our place, but we didn't come home with any purchase. LWould be helpful if you had a truck or bigger vehicle. Plenty of parking and busy on a Saturday.

Coffee table and wooden entertainment center plus the wall repurposed shiplap feature wall. All from this Re-use Hawaii location.

We were very impressed of how well the merchandise is categorized and easy to sort thru. This new location is such an improvement from the previous "KAKAAKO" location. The manager "Ariel" keeps such outstanding organization it makes for a pleasant visit every time. We always find treasures with ease!

New Location (Salt Lake) Store Entrance Dec 2024

New location in Salt Lake near Ice Palace/Aloha Stadium as of December 2024. Lots of free parking and lots of selection of gently used furniture and box springs and supplies like windows, paint, cabinets, lumber, flooring, and appliances. They have a free section as well. Restrooms are located to the right after entering. They are single stall restrooms and are clean and spacious. The women's restroom had a changing table but it looked locked up for some reason. The floor space is very spacious and well organized! Prices seem very reasonable--I was surprised at how affordable the furniture was. There are also smaller trinkets like door locks, plates, cups, knives, and Christmas tree holders.

I recently visited Reuse Hawaii and was really impressed by the amount of furnitures and household items they've had. Located at the Stadium Marketplace where the old Sack N' Save used to be. As a creative person myself, I was ecstatic of all the refurbishments I could totally do in order to make my selections feel newer. There is nothing wrong with saving your buck by fixing up a furniture at your own desire for your own space. Some of the quality and materials were sturdy and top notch! If you're looking for something to work on or want to start a project on for your home, I feel that you should check them out!

Coming here is like treasure hunting, you never know what kind of goodies you will find. Help save our planet by purchasing re-usable household items and materials. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking and very accessible to everyone since it's directly across the street from Aloha Stadium. Once you come here, you will be instantly hooked!

What's great about ReUse? Tiles! Shopping for tiles can be a pretty expensive ordeal, especially when you're purchasing from Home Depot or Lowe's. And even more so if you're renovating your bathroom. Those mosaic shower tiles are expensive! Cost the same to tile the entire floor of your living room and bedrooms. Luckily, Re-Use has a large variety of tiles that's most helpful for bathroom renovations because you don't need a lot tiles. All the tiles they receive are donations or extra materials from renovations, so there's wouldn't be enough to tile an 800 sq ft condo, but a 60 sq ft bathroom will do! Tile 6'' or less is only 10 cents each! I found tile here that were selling at Home Depot at 8 times the price. Paint is another item Re-Use carries a lot. All the paint here are as close to new as you can get. For me, if it's a nice color, then why not? I don't want to spend time looking at 250 shades of blue. Overall, Re-Use definitely "cleaned up" the place. More organized, open, clean, and with better items. An excellent place to get what you need at a fraction of the cost.

Nice, cool little reuse warehouse. Well organized. Nice staff. Wish there was one on the Leeward side, so I could visit more often.

I am very particular on wood I buy for projects and I don't just buy from any place, but as soon as I seen their wood and the condition they were in I knew that I would diffenetly be back for more and I have. Third every one that looks for koa always wants to to find a good price, well I went to many other spots before and I wasn't really to convinced on the price espically for the quality it was in, but as soon as they gave me my final price my mind was blown and I thought I heard wrong but no I heard right. Their price is very good espically for koa wood. I diffenetly recommend them to any one buying koa or any other type of wood you get from them. Even my boss who is more particular with his buy said he would recommend them to any one. You will not get any better service, price, quality in Hawaii than from Matt and his wife. If that wasn't enough his wife is really good at making pens and other great accessories, I just bought two of them today and we'll be posting photos soon.

His easy going attitude and professionalism were second to none. I was able to select my wood from a generous inventory, pay with credit card and was on my way in no time. I will most certainly use Matt to purchase wood from again in the future. As a matter of fact I think I may buy KOA from him 9 times out of 10. HUSBAND: Let's go to pick up some White Lava. ME: What?…read more Lava isn't white and what are you going to do with it. HUSBAND: No, no... it's that waterproofing coating that we used on our former house's walkway and outdoor deck. I want to apply it to our lanai floor. ME: Ok, so since you're talking about it, I take it that YOU've already looked for a White Lava supplier? HUSBAND: Of course....I found All Weather Surfaces - HI through Yelp. My husband sought out All Weather Surfaces - HI as he's been wanting to waterproof and create a non-slip surface on our current condominium's lanai deck. After calling to confirm product (White Lava) availability and retail sales to the public (since they're listed as building supplies and deal mainly with commercial accounts), we jumped into our car and drove off to Halawa Valley. This company is located on Iwaena Street in O'ahu's Halawa Valley. They were easy to find and have several assigned parking stall for customers fronting their business. Entering into their sales area, we found well-organized displays of multiple protective coating brands (White Lava, Neogard, carboline, Sika, Pratt & Lambert and COOLWALL), applicators (paint rollers, brushes, etc), reinforcement mesh and various other tools needed for painting. Admittedly, I was mesmerized with all of the different products and their specific uses. But, we were there for the White Lava products. We were pleased to have met with Gavin Abe, as he was the one who spoke with my husband earlier. Gavin was honest and forthright as he provided us with more information about White Lava and the best ways to apply the product to our current lanai. He also determined the quantity of product needed based upon the dimensions that we provided. This product is excellent on prepared plywood or concrete surfaces where there is high foot traffic. The smallest container of the White Lava was 1 gallon. We were surprised to learn that this product can custom tinted, too. Our interaction was pleasant and educational. It was very nice of their inventory or warehouseman to carry our purchases to our parked vehicle. Thanks to All Weather Surfaces - HI, your White Lave product has made our condo's lanai is easy to clean as its new painted surface minimizes dust attraction while protecting it from Hawai'i's sunshine, salt air and rain.
