Secondly one of the employees who i believe was the co owner used my PERSONAL phone number to call me multiple times a day most of which the phone calls were NOT about the car i was interested in. the final straw for me was when one of the co owners called my number insisting he (a strange man in his 60s who i did not know) could drive me (a 17 year old girl) ALONE to my job the next day and then ended the phone call with saying "i don't care what they say about you i think you're pretty cool". Tyler and Co over at Mavis have always been extremely friendly knowledgeable and have serviced all our needs for our cars and have never tried to lie or overcharge us . I had to bring my car in this morning because I heard a rubbing metal noise between my rotor and right tire dropped it off an hour later I got a call saying there's no issue everything checks out great they even test drove it there was some gravel found that was possibly causing the sound that was rubbing against the rotor and the brake pad and I do drive over gravel roads every week . They have always been upfront honest and have not charged if there was no issue. Definitely would recommend them

After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!!
