Had no issues renting a 15 passenger van for a week a couple of years ago. I paid around $582 total for the rental including tax and that included unlimited miles. Easy pickup and dropoff, and the van worked great. We drove it out to Vegas in the dead heat of summer and the A/C kept up with us just fine. The company I work for brings all of the employees to it's Solana Beach HQ twice a year. As the designated driver, I asked if they could put the 15 passenger van on the company charge card instead of me charging it to mine. None of the "big boys" would allow us to do it... they all wanted the card holder to be there to pickup the van. ReadiVan to the rescue!!! They allowed the van to be put on the company card without them coming there. +1 for ReadiVan. My flight was the first to arrive. The next group would not be in for close to 3 hours. When I asked if there was a place in town that I could setup my laptop and do some work, I was expecting them to say that there is a hotel right down the road and I might be able to setup in their lobby. Instead, they say that they have a room that I can use. +2 for ReadiVan When I was ready to leave, they pulled the van out. I took a look and was very happy that they gave me a brand new van. It was clean and tight, just like a new van should be. When I got gas, I reset the odometer and noticed that the van had 30,000 miles on it. WOW! this thing is in excellent shape! +3 for ReadiVan The folks at ReadiVan are really nice... from the front counter to the guys that pick you up from the airport. Friendly very fast service. +4 for ReadiVan. We needed a van for a large group of friends travelling to San Diego. I had searched the internet and found several rental van companies. I originally booked with another company, but based on the poor reviews for that company I switched to Redivan. You won't be disappointed. The vans were all newer models and in great condition. I even called to confirm the condition and year of van, no bait and switch here. The people were super friendly and helpful. The price I found on the internet was guaranteed by them. They picked us up and dropped off back off at the airport, which is just 5 minutes away. They have a 175 mile per day limit, which was fine for us, but if you are travelling a lot you may want to buy some extra mileage. Very happy to find them. We needed 2 - 15 person vans for Ragnar relay and vans are very expensive to rent from the traditional places like Hertz. I found Readivan online and their prices at $100/night was the cheapest by a big margin. They had a 150 miles/day limit but they let us go over that (~230/day) without any additional charges (we cleared it with them first). Total charge for 2 days including everything was $211. The vans weren't brand new but in great shape and the cleaning was spic and span. The floors were almost too slippery from the cleaning. Our van worked great and the A/C worked. But the other van's A/C didn't work so that sucked. Too bad we didn't test it beforehand but that takes off 1 star. The service was great and they got you in and out very quickly. I will definitely use them again for my van rental needs in the future. read more

This company is one of the best to rent a passenger van even when going to Mexico. We had a large group of people, needed multiple vehicles and they quoted a fair price! Pickup and drop off was extremely easy. On our way down to Mexico, we encountered a flat tire on one of the vehicles. Even though we were miles away, they sent another vehicle immediately and traded out the vehicle so we didn't have to delay and wait for the tire to be changed. This business rents large 11-15 person vans. Rented van for Arizona 4 day trip with family of 8. Fuel was at 1/2 tank, so I topped it off to full, costing $68.00. After fueling I noticed the air conditioning was not working, so I returned the vehicle. Rented from another company. Received rental charges back but readivan San Diego refused to refund fuel charges, they wanted a receipt and would only refund 1/2. Would not recommend. read more

Renting from Redivan was great experience..we rented 4 vans to take 48 people on a mission trip to build houses in mexico for the farm laborers...they were very helpful and made sure the Vans were all in good working order and the spare tires were full. we returned 3 vans after one week and kept one van as we dropped off that team of people and picked up another smaller team from the airport to go back to mexico...the plane was late getting in and we didn't want to drive the 180 miles into mexico so we were looking for a hotel...Bruce and Ramon were helping us find a place to stay for the night as Ramon knew of a few hotels in Mexico he directed us to in a safe area...they really went out of their way to help us and we will use them again next time for sure. read more

I have never written a review on Yelp before but after my experience with Readivan, I had to post! I had a ABSOLUTELY GREAT experience with this company and all the coworkers there! We were in town for a soccer tournament and needed to transport 9 players back and forth to games all weekend. I have to admit that I was very nervous as this was my first time driving the girls around and I wasn't sure what kind of van I was going to end up with. I soon discovered, I had nothing to worry about! We were picked up at the airport by Bruce. What an amazing man. I feel like we're family now. Yay BRUCE!!!! And this review is coming a lot later than I anticipated because I was so impressed with Readivan, that my intention was to come right home and write my review but life got in the way. I rented on line with Alamo and was in need of a large vehicle to haul my photo booth equipment in because we were expecting lots of rain. I ubered myself to Alamo only to find out that they didn't have what I needed. Then I was stuck down there. Crap! The Alamo lady knew about Redivan and gave them a call. Let me start out by saying Readivan saved our Girl Scout road trip. Without going into a lot of detail, our original reservations for a 13 passenger van didn't work out. Last minute I was scrambling for another van to rent. Second company I reserved a van drove a half in hour to find out "NO VAN". Then the light bulb went off in my head and I remembered seeing Readivan . My husband drove me over there. Praying that they were still open and had vans available . I was greeted by Robert. We chatted and I asked if he could help me. He was our saving grace. He had a van and he rented to me on the spot. I only had to promise that I have the van back Sunday evening b/c he had a large reservation he had to fill. I kept my promise and brought it back Sunday morning. When I rented the van, Ramon took care of billing transaction. Very polite and professional. Our troop was 100% satisfied with our van. If you are planning a trip to SD and need a van rental look no farther. I can not say enough good things about this place of business. The employees are top notch and go the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of. The price is very fair. The van was a 15 passenger and served us well for 13 days, no problems mechanical at all. They picked us up at the airport and when we departed early they had a place for drop the van off that was easy as well. iIt is a long story about how my grandson lost his iPod in a very small place, but when I explained it to them, they had their mechanic retrieve it for us, which was no small job I am sure. I sent a prepaid box and they sent it to me. Just like everything else, they went the extra mile to package it securely, it arrived in perfect condition.
