The chips & salsa but, specifically the cabbage salsa, are enjoyable staples. The tortilla soup is also a must have. Sometimes, I just grab the soup plus chips & salsa. I like the soup because it's hearty and full of fresh ingredients. This time we enjoyed tostadas, street tacos, & green chile stew along with the standard refried beans & Spanish rice. And we didn't forget the alcoholic libations, rounding it out with margaritas and Corona. There are no complaints here. The food is always on point. The restaurant itself is always clean, welcoming, & prepared for a good time. The staff are always friendly & attentive. I also enjoy the entertainment playing in the screens & the nights with the mariachi. They are available on the food delivery app, too.

I was very impressed with the new building and how bright and clean it was. The receptionist was great but then it began, we were having a birthday party for eight people the service was terrible the food came out cold never could get anybody to help us. Even the bartender wasn't very helpful when I asked if we could get a waiter. You would have thought this was a new business and they've been in business for years. We found them to have a little bit of an attitude like we're blessed to be there. About five years ago I visited their old location and felt the same way I guess they just carried that moved over to the new one. Absolutely no customer service. There's a lot of other little options in that shopping center I would've preferred to have spent my money. We overheard the waiter arguing with a customer that he didn't give back the credit card when in fact he had forgotten. Don't get a lot of new people because the building is beautiful but good luck on repeat customers!!!!!! read more

I have enjoyed happy hour here in the past, but our experience at Real de Minas for dinner was underwhelming. We were seated quickly near the bar, but the noise level made it difficult to converse. When the music was turned on, it became even harder to hear each other. The house margarita seemed weak in alcohol content. Our food took 15 minutes to arrive and my chimichanga was not what I had ordered. Another member of our party also received the wrong dish. After flagging down our waiter, the correct meals were eventually brought out, but no compensation was offered for the mix-up. On top of that we received horrible service. Our waiter (Jessica) never brought us silverware we had to ask someone else for it. We all needed refills and she never came up to us. To top it off we had to go up to her in order for us to get a refill which she got up bothered and went back to her table all bothered whispering something to the person next to her. I'm sorry but that is HER job to serve US that's why we came to eat. We were all pretty disappointed. Hopefully someone knocks some sense into this girl because one day she's gonna run into the wrong person. read more

The new location, looks great, but The food does not make up for it. A group of us Came in for happy hour and it was horrific right from the beginning. The service was slow, the appetizers were cold and the tacos didn't have any "wow" factor to them. They mention that do they table side guacamole, but when we ordered it they didn't make it table side.... they brought it from the back. I will have to come back and try it again another time, but for the meantime I'll stick to my favorite places in Parker. read more

La Fogata was one of the options and probably the closest Mexican restaurant. I have had both good and bad experiences with this La Fogata in the last so I sure was hoping for something at least decent. After browsing the menu, Dos ($20+) appeared a good portion so I placed it through one of the delivery apps. The time was in between lunch and dinner. As I followed the progress of it on the app, the restaurant was quite prompt about preparing my meal. The next moment I realized the driver was already on his way to my house. Wow, so quick! The restaurant is only about 5-7 minutes away from my house. It didn't take long before my food was placed right in front of my house. As I opened the plastic bag to inspect my much anticipated meal m, I realized that the restaurant did a fantastic job by separating the food into different parts/containers so certain things would stay fresh and not ruined by others. What a conscientious gesture this was! This sort of meticulous effort is something I truly appreciate and value. Now the food's quality.... Dos is a good portion indeed. I remember dining at the restaurant with a friend of mine a year or so ago. He had this dish which he enjoyed. As I started eating it myself I realized why he liked it so much. The ground beef was well cooked in spices with the perfect amount of salt. The refried beans were not too thick where its creaminess was just right. The salad part (lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese) were all together in one container to be away from the hot part of the dish. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the dish. And like I have already mentioned it surprised me. As this was a delivery order I can't speak of the restaurant's ambience and/or cleanliness but as far as I remember I had never found the dining room dirty when I dines in a few times in the past.
