Our guy Makoa made the trip amazing as he took us deeper and farther through the ranch all the while sharing jokes, Hawaiian folklore, cultural insights, and stressing the importance of respect for the land. Added to the 3hr UTV deluxe tour are extra stops at some of the key movie sites that you dont get on the standard ride (like boneyard, and Jurrassic World Indominus rex pen). There wasn't much of anything other than the single rickhouse area, so when we went back in 2025 it was nice to see how much they had expanded. A nice, full tasting bar, plenty of seating area (outdoor and indoor), and an expanded rickhouse. The employees are friendly and give great recommendations. Definitely loved seeing how much they've grown in the 4 years since we visited. They had more expressions to try this time around, which was great because I got to do a flight of their releases. While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Masks were handed out with little to no instruction, and basic questions were met with a rude and dismissive attitude. Overall communication and service were lacking. Once in the water, guidance was minimal and inconsistent. The experience felt rushed and disorganized, with limited support for guests who were new to snorkeling. The tone and treatment we received also made us uncomfortable as Asian guests. After sharing feedback, the company clarified in writing that they do NOT advertise or position this as a beginner-friendly snorkeling tour. Based on both that clarification and our experience, I would strongly recommend that beginners or families looking for clear instruction and attentive guidance consider other operators. He stories and jokes are funny! Let me start off by saying this is the most cheapest tour I've ever gotten in Hawaii! You can't beat this price... uncle Tony was my favorite part of the tour! He is hilarious and has a big heart! For a full day of activities and a tour can't beat that price. We started at 7am until 3pm Anyways, uncle Tony is the best! He is hilarious. He kept us entertain the whole ride. He was joking and singing. I felt so comfortable. I get car motion sickness but not during this tour. Was laughing the whole time! About this tour: They offer free pickup from Waikiki. -You get pick-up up from your location (for me it was 333seaside ave in Waikiki) - he starts picking up other people in other locations - next thing he takes us driving to coral crater where we did zip lining! We did 3 Ziplines. (LOVED THIS PLACE) -he offered us free Hawaiian donuts -during the drive he was letting us what is what as we pass by locations and its brief history about it. Such as Pearl Harbor or good inexpensive places to visit. - next place we went was snorkeling at Kapolei. His niece was the one who guided us. She is so sweet and such an amazing diver! - we went to a restaurant that uncle Tony recommended. It was so yummy! - lastly, we went on home. We entertainment from uncle Tony and more history lessons! I failed history twice in college. I really hate learning about history but uncle Tony kept it entertaining. I learned so much from him.
