Good beers, Decent atmosphere, good service. Not very conveniently located... a bit off the beaten path compared to most other spots in the area, but there's lots of parking and a decent beer selection. Everyone enjoyed their beers. Not sure if the food truck changes, but we weren't super impressed by the offerings this day. They have lots of games available to play and there were tons of cute dogs for entertainment.

Laid back, locals hangout, with good beer. Located in a business park area, I don't think you can find a more chill spot. There's plenty of parking, it's quiet, and it doesn't have a day care environment like a few of the breweries (come on parents....you don't need to drink beer with your one year old next to you...go do something with them!). The staff is super friendly, and I don't think I've ever had a wait to grab a beer. I really like the beer choices here, not too crazy like some breweries. Well done, and see you next time.

In this weather, I'm a big fan of lagers and this place didn't disappoint. The Camp Zama (rice lager) is definitely recommended. Low key atmosphere and dog friendly. The beertender was always checking on drinks and bantering with everyone. I'll definitely be back.

Purposely came to the brewery because of the food truck they had! Team fat kid is definitely must eat! Now don't get me wrong....this brewery has good beers too! Beer of the day for me was the hazy tides. Refreshing beer for a relaxing day! They have indoor seating as well as outdoors. Now I side....they have another area that in enclosed by a sliding door. It's open to everyone!

Can you ever go wrong with a brewery?! Reaver Beach is off the beaten path, so there are not a ton of tourist, or too loud of an atmosphere. Although they close a little early (9pm) it is a great casual drinking place. The staff are super friendly and helpful in helping you decide on a drink. The venue is of adequate size and a laid back vibe. There is not much of a variety in beer styles here. I am typically not an IPA person but reaver beach has perfected theirs! I was able to find three IPAs that were smooth but still hoppy. I would definitely recommend!

Veriest Rogue is a Strong Ale 13.3% ABV. Scrumptious!

I am almost always willing to give a business another try after not being thrilled by an inital visit. My previous review was on par, to a little below in my mind based off service. I was so glad that I did get back after a year to give them another spin. I picked a slow middle to the week Wednesday around 5:30 PM to check them out for a second go around. The lot had a few cars and no food truck which was disappointing since I was starved. However, I get it with regards to support the business. I also could have looked this up, so I am not holding this against the business at all. I stepped in to around a half dozen enjoying brews and decided to pony up to the bar. However, with no menus I was back up looking at the menu board and discussed with bartender Shawn. I sampled three recommended based off my taste of darker, more robust ales. My eventual choice was a yum American Strong Ale named Veriest Rogue. When he says strong believe it son! At 13.5% the brewer was sneaky about pushing the envelope and no way would you guess that high of an ABV. The waffling smell of cognac is at the nose immediately. The taste has this super delicious flavor that carries it. Since I was starved and was drinking a strong beer on an empty stomach I needed to rectify the situation. Reaver does carry Cape Cod chips and Daddy G salsa. I ordered that up immediately and trashed the whole bag myself. The salsa was a medium and had a good kick and was darn good. Shawn really worked the bar and I could tell most, if not all were regulars. He remained responsive to anything I may need, but I told him one beer and I was going to be out. I did ask for a water which comes from the tap, they have no bottle for purchase. I really felt comfortable on this visit and enjoyed the vibe. I am thrilled to make it back and can't wait to return. Maybe I can even get lucky and meet the famous Steven A. who is a super regular.

5 stars, and I'm not a beer drinker. What I am is a travel blogger, that likes to check out all the cool spots, and my best friend was in from NYC and wanted to go here. I've officially been twice now. As far as catering to those who don't drink, you get water. But oh well, you're literally at a brewery. Honestly, that could be my only complaint, and I'd love to see them sell soda by the can or something. But again, it's a brewery. However, their selection of beer is pretty vast, and as far as I'm told, really good. They also have a cool little bingo night that goes on where you can win gift cards and such. (I won!) Needless to say, we will go back. I'll probably just sneak a Coke in with me.

    Great selection!

Great bar! The selection was good and it's always changing, based on availability. Stouts are always a go to for me. Their Nitro was very good, just hate having to wait for the 5 minutes to let it settle! You can bring your own food or eat at the food truck, if you're lucky enough to come on a day they are there!

I was super thirsty for beer flight. I went to Newport News for St. George and found they are close on Sun. I was really careless. I drove another 1hr to get here. The staff is super friendly. I was too indecisive and he gave me one free sample. Cheers! They have 8 kinds of beer now. You can choose 4 for a flight. I'm not drunk but I forget how much it is. Oh $5! Cool bar top, cool wall, cool guys, so many cool things here! I'll come back here again soon;)

Delicious beers! Cool vibe and cute place! Definitely a place I would visit again! Loved both the stout and porter I tried. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

With strong reviews across various platforms, we elected to try Reaver Beach during our visit. It was no surprise to pull into an industrial park (brewery life!) The interior is warm and the bartenders were friendly. Despite the high marks on Untappd, we were disappointed with our selections (Zephyr, a session IPA and Vulture, IPA). Meh. The session had bitterness but no floral notes. The IPA was average. Feeling moved by neither beer, we took off. Perhaps there are better options? The average ABV for the rest of the menu was about 8%. A little out of range for a Saturday afternoon beverage stop.

A friend told me about Reaver Beach and I stopped by on a weekend afternoon when I was in the area. I instantly appreciated the vibe. Quite a few folks hanging out and enjoying each other's company. The bartender was extremely nice and friendly and the beer was really good. I wish I lived closer because it would undoubtedly be a spot I'd want to visit again. I'm not giving five stars because I hope to go again, try more, and then give a fifth star based on two great visits.

    Are they pet friendly?

I did notice an outside seating area where some customers had dogs. I would imagine as long as your dog is human and dog friendly, it wouldn't be an issue.

(Sours, stouts etc.) I had the kookaburra beer and it quickly has become one of my favorites. The Grape Gatsby was served only in a can, but was also delicious. I am a big fan of sour beers and this brewery hits the mark. The brewery itself is definitely a more open brewery. There's a quick line on busy days, but the bartenders are quick and efficient and make the line move. The bar itself has picnic table like seating and a huge open area outside, with each table having a QR code for food/beer etc. This last time, I had the pimento grilled cheese, with tomato soup and it's the perfect snack for a winter day. When heading towards the bathroom, there was a huge chalkboard of posted events coming up as well as another section for events. I really do like a brewery that has events in the area to make people come and visit and it gives people a chance to experience cool events in the area while having a familiar place to go afterwards or before. I Came here for coffee one morning, and the coffee as well was excellent. I enjoyed the 007 which is a shaken espresso, Highly recommend! They also have pastries, we got the blueberry scone, chocolate chip scone and the cheese danish. All were great and tasted fresh. Not what you would expect from a brewery in the morning, but it was well worth the trip. The brewery itself was at a low volume and had great sunlight peeking through for a great coffee in the morning. Parking was a bit rough when it was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but there was a separate lot if you can't find parking in the main one. We only waited about 10 minutes for a spot and it ended up not being too tight.

Unfortunately, my food came out about 15 minutes before my husband's, so we couldn't really enjoy our meal together. 2 meals, no drinks (not even a soda), and 2 sauces came out to around $40. Honestly, I wouldn't pay that again for the portion of food you're getting. For food at this price point, I think there's better places. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to let me taste a few different options before committing. That alone sets the tone. Nothing overcomplicated, just a really solid lager done right. The vibe is what really stands out here. I love the German-inspired atmosphere.
