We came in January @2pm, it emptied and quiet. But nevertheless the food was delicious. I was told their menu is made from scratched. The chicken and fish sandwiches where massive. Waffle fries were crunchy like ck-fil-a. I wonder what their summer menu would be like. They Great beer menu too.

Bunker Brewhouse is a family friendly restaurant with a rocking twist! Not only are they veteran owned, but they feature their own beer called Young Veteran Brewing Company! F O O D Adam had the Mexicali Burger and I had the Southern Hospitality Burger. SOOOO GOOD! Like what?! How can a burger even taste like this, but they did! B E E R We got a flight of 4 beers so we could sample 2 of their Young Veteran Brewing Company beers, a featured wheat beer, and a cider (my personal favvvv)! Here's the 4 beers we tried: 1.) Pineapple Grenade (Wheat Beer) by Young Veteran Brewing Company 2.) Night Vision (Stout Beer - American) by Young Veteran Brewing Company 3.) Pillow Muffins: Czech Style Pilsner by Farce Beer Co. 4.) Guava Passionfruit: DownEast Cider A T M O S P H E R E From being a family restaurant to a total rock & role hole in the wall! If you're looking for a chill evening, this is your place! I was 1,000% blown away by the talent of all the high school teenage age bands that sounded like they'd been in the business for 20+ years up on stage! We will definitely be return customers every time we're in the area!

Food and service was great. If you like to try creative burgers with new flavors for your palette, this is an option for you. If you want a plain burger with ketchup, don't bother. Four stars only because my 12 year old eats burgers everywhere and she wasn't a fan of the kids menu burger.

Ambiance: 10/10 upbeat and lively. Not too noisy. Food: 10/10 I had the starter mussels and my husband had the bunker burger. Mussels were the size of an entree. Enough for two people to enjoy comfortably. The burger was great and flavorful. The burnout beer was heavenly and refreshing. I am not a beer person but I definitely come back for this one. Service: 10/10 Rachel was the sweetest and super attentive.

My husband and I came here for dinner. The fact that it is a veteran owned business with a nice craft beer selection and nice food menu led us to try the place. We were seated and served quickly and enjoyed our drinks and food. I enjoyed the Guava Passionfruit cider and my husband enjoyed the Frogman lager. For dinner, I had the House Salad with Tuna Bites and my husband had the Mahi-Mahi. Everything was so good! The place is decorated with military items which is a cool touch.

Stopped in for a quick bite and drink after a walk at Virginia Beach Strip. The beer was refreshing and lite. Nice and balanced. Yeah. The shrimp rolls while crispy, were very heavy on rice and beans. Only like 1 shrimp cut between them all. About 1 oz of white crab meat sprinkled on top of the thick flour like soup. With some old bay type seasoning. Very clean, nice ambiance with lots of military stuff. Service was fast and friendly.

5 stars, highly recommend! The service was phenomenal, bartender was super friendly and even gave us a list of must visit restaurants while in Virginia Beach on vacation. We only got an appetizer, the fried pickles, which were yummy and came out quickly. They had this wonderful sauce to dip them in. There was a nice variety of beers to select from. I'm partial to sours, my mom likes IPAs, dad likes stouts, and husband enjoys ales, and we all enjoyed our drinks. The vibe was awesome, lots of funny signs all over the place, etc. The bathrooms were nice and clean, which was appreciated. Definitely recommend checking out if in Virginia Beach!

Service was great from the bartender. Food was ok and beer wasn't as good as I expected. I asked for a couple of samples, one was the Coconut wheat beer and the other was the Pineapple Grenade. I couldn't taste the flavors in any of those. Im glad I sampled those before I ordered the flight. So, I can only remember 3 of the 4 I got for the flight, which was the Peach IPA, Razz Tart Mofo and the Guava Passion Fruit Cider. The Cider was the best out of them all. But the Razz Tart was pretty good, too. For food, I got the She-Crab soup and the Blackened Tuna tacos, with the elote pasta. The soup was almost more like a dip, it was so thick. It had good flavor, though, and the temperature was perfect. The tacos were just ok for me. They definitely don't skimp on the tuna. But I honestly think it was too much, as it was a really thick piece, instead of something sliced thin or cubed. So it wasn't may favorite. However, the elote pasta was really good. When I think of elote, I think of corn. But this had nothing to do with corn. It was a cold pasta with some sort of seasoning. I liked it. SO, yeah, i would recommend this place.

I've never been to Virginia Beach, but if all restaurants are like this one, I'm moving here!! I have never had such amazing food and beer anywhere! The beer menu was extensive, and the food menu was full of delicious options. My coworker had the seafood pasta, which looked fresh and she loved. The chicken tacos were unreal - breaded chicken tenders with honey chipotle sauce, slaw, and some awesome Mexican spiced pasta salad. But honestly - and this is odd - the star of the show was the Pineapple Grenade wheat beer. It was so light, so fruity and so refreshing!! We also had the miso caramel ice cream sandwich, which was unreal!! If you're in the area, EAT HERE! (I may be back tomorrow!)

Fun bar, lots of energy friendly staff. Today we visited after the Car show at the convention center. Just a straight drive down 21st street. Parking on the Oceanfront is always a challenge. Paid parking is located across the street. Great vibe in this popular restaurant

The drink menu options had some cool names for the speciality drinks. I tried their Aries SZN that was sweet and more on the tart side if you like that combo I would recommend it. Food options were endless with classic food to your going out food I did there girl dinner which comes with a Caesar Salad truffle fries with a Diet Coke or coke all for $25 that right there a perfect combo for something to have after or before night out or to just evening bite. Our server was excellent with telling us what options would be a good choice and he also mentioned if we had any allergy or allergies to anything to make sure it was prepared right which to me is always a good thing to be ask. Arrived around 6:30 and were able to get a table but it filled up fast. Host noted we were probably new bc Tuesdays were usually familiar faces; love to hear that locals love a place too! We ordered the Buffalo Mushrooms as a starter and let me tell you, it's worth the hype. The crunch on these things is legendary. The sauce is a little spicy but it won't blow your palate out. Also the portion is enormous. We wanted to save our appetite for our mains but just kept eating them. We got the monthly special burger which was the kimchi burger with Brussels sprouts on the side and a wagyu meatball sub with fries. Dear lord that burger! I am trying to remember another burger that I loved this much. The kimchi was cooked down into a bit of a compote which melded with the cheese and gochujang perfectly, the patties were crispy as hell! The bun added a perfect sweetness. I told the server it was "stupid". I almost cried. This can't even capture just how good the food was. I'm sorry. The Brussels sprouts were a little understated, kinda like creamed spinach at a steakhouse. They were delicious but overshadowed by other menu items. The meatballs were spicier than we expected, so if you like a spicy meatball, get after it. The best thing about the sub was the pesto sauce on top, which added a nice green brightness to what was an otherwise heavy sandwich. Good luck picking this monster up, we needed to resort to knife and fork! The fries were on point. Whoever is running the frier at Esoteric has the temp dialed in. I wish we had room for dessert but we were already bagging up most of the sub and fries. The portions here match the prices. Would love to eat outside here when it's a little warmer. If you are looking for a cute spot in the vibe, don't miss Esoteric. We for sure will be back.

We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated but that was cut short by option to sit at the bar. The bartender was working like she had six arms. It was non stop; attentive, taking orders, making drinks, checking back with others, she was truly impressive. The places was jumping; it was busy, casual and didn't slow down from the time we arrived until we left. Parking is challenging, there's a small lot beside the restaurant and a small lot behind it so if you can car pool you'll benefit yourselves. Now on to the star of the show - the food! The only knock I had was portion size. In a big guy with an even bigger appetite and when i left there i could've eaten my whole meal over again lol. But that's also because it was delicious. I got the mac n cheese starter, the Beast Burger, tater tots , and the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever had. Literally the biggest slice of cake ever- twice the size of my burger. Everything was delicious, from start to finish and if i were a person that had a normal appetite i would've left full like my friends did. Will definitely be back!

Everything was good, though our other table ended up being ready way faster than expected, so we had to take most of it to go. One small PSA: the menu calls them "jumbo" quail eggs, but quail eggs are tiny creatures of nature to begin with, so don't walk in expecting chicken egg-sized deviled eggs.
