I didn't realize that there was a rebel coffee in Farmington, so I was very excited to learn that there was. I'm in Farmington often and I love coffee. I drink iced coffee all year round!! It was very busy when I arrived. All of the seats were taken and the line was to the door. The line moved pretty fast and there was space to sit when I got my food. They had a lot of choses for food and drinks. I got a peppermint mocha iced coffee with salted caramel toffee cold foam on top. I also got a breakfast sandwich with sausage, pepper jack cheese, and argula. The staff was very friendly and I loved the rainbow flag that was hanging up. The wall that was painted was very pretty too. Grab a sticker too!! I look forward to going back!

Ambiance and Service:[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was awesome; I really loved the decor and vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was superb, swift and smooth even on a busy Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu, which was not just drinks but also a variety of breakfast and lunch options. This was a refreshing change from typical coffee shops that can have limited food choices. Drinks:I tried something from the seasonal menu and ordered a Dubai Chocolate Latte. The flavors were perfectly fused, and the presentation was picture perfect- I am happy that I slowed down to take off the lid. Honestly, it was so good that I decided to stay and savor it there. It was too good to just drink in the car. I was thoroughly impressed with my visit and look forward to returning to try more of their delicious drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The combination of a lively atmosphere, yummy menu (I want to try the sandwich with Tuna and Gouda!), and efficient service makes Rebel Dog Coffee a must-visit destination.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They definitely got that drip. Get it?

My build your own breakfast sandwich! So good.

I ordered ahead on the Toast app. Build your own breakfast sandwich. It has a lot of great and unique choices to add, like falafel, extra kielbasa, capers, pomegranate tatzkiki, truffle sauce, aoili etc...

Great coffee spot! We ordered a lot of food and they were super fast. Breakfast sandwiches were the best the eggs were nice and runny. Coffee they don't add the cream or milk, there is a self service bar to add yourself with oat milk, half and half and whole milk. Scones were a little crispy on the bottom but tasted great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was very large and spacious great spot to sit and relax or get some work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very large parking lot easy to find parking. Local Connecticut chain, great to support.

The food was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The price is high. For $50 we got two sandwiches with fries, a coffee and a bubbly water. I would say it's a good place for coffee but the food wasn't it for me. It's not that the food was terrible, but my sandwich was a little dry and extra sauce was $1.... my entire meal for me and my husband was $50 but for $50.... I could have gone to a steak house. But for meh food and that price tag. The chicken Sandwhich was overcooked and really dry. I went up and bought additional chipotle sauce for a dollar and that sauce was not any good. I probably could have asked to swap the sauce out for something different ... but I didn't bother. Their menu has build a burger but everything is almost an additional $1. $1 for lettuce, $1 for onions.... $1 for sauce. The staff was kind of no complaints here. I believe if I had gotten a coffee and a muffin I would have been happy. The pierogii I got however was really good and so was my coffee. I would go back for those two things and sit and enjoy my coffee in their shop.

    "The Motherland" eggs benedict

When it comes to coffee, you have the orange logo, "working man's" coffee at one end of the spectrum, and the green logo, "urban sophisticate" coffee at the other. By my observation, if a restaurant has the word "coffee" in it, it gravitates toward "urban sophisticate" in flavor; but, not true with Rebel Dog. I was quite pleasantly surprised to find that the smooth blend, with an almost nutty after taste, that is the Rebel Dog House Blend, fell closer to the "working man's" brew, which I find preferable. But, there's more to Rebel Dog than just coffee... I arrived at the Farmington location, noting short line in front of me, and a small, nearly full, dining area. The line moved quickly; and after having ordered my coffee and "The Motherland" eggs benedict, I took one of the last two available tables. During the slightly longer than anticipated wait for my food, I began to wonder if the targeted demographic for this restaurant was the character Ducky, from the 80's movie, Pretty In Pink, due to the 30 year old new wave/alternative music, being played softly in the background. Rest assured, the patronage was a good blend of young and old, blue and white collar, and everyone in between, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Finally! Breakfast. My first bite established that the Motherland had the essential ability to allow the taste of every ingredient to shine, with none overtaking the other. The smoky kielbasa, topped with sauerkraut, smothered in a creamy, rich, hollandaise sauce, with the poached eggs on top, blended perfectly together. As I used the last of the English muffin to sop up the remaining hollandaise sauce, I couldn't help but reflect on how, not only was I full, but also, that I was happily surprised by this dining experience, on the whole. The meal came to twenty dollars even, including tip, and the charitable contribution "round up" option offered at check out. At $12.50, the eggs benedict alone seemed a bargain. I don't know when I'll find myself up that way, in Farmington, again, but if I do, the Rebel Dog will surely be on my agenda.

I like this place. People I've brought there have complained about the noise level, but i didn't mind. It is treated like a coffeehouse.. Which it is.. lol!! People bring their laptops & hang out, they meet & gather.. I think its charming. The food is decent, I've been there there twice now, but the sandwiches are VERY greasy. Get LOTS of napkins. And if you do get the pulled pork or Cubano, make sure to ask for the mustard! They don't really spice their meat, which was a surprise, and it needed a little something. You have to ask for condiments.. I liked their coffee, but its been a while since i was there. I'd like to go back and do a proper review.

Rebel Dog Coffee Co. is a place that is more than a coffee run. We highly recommend staying for a bite from their wide menu of brunch offerings, sandwiches, burgers, salads and more! I've stopped before for a coffee, but had to come back to try the food. We got the Original Eggs Benedict, Santa Monica Eggs Benedict, a Potato Pancake and a Pierogi. This was some of the best brunch I have ever had at a coffee shop. The eggs were perfect and you have to try at least one pierogi. For drinks, we got their S'mores latte and an iced Matcha latte. Both were fantastic! I was happy that we visited at a time where it wasn't too crowded and we were able to find a seat with no problem. We did take our time with the menu and had a lot of folks go ahead of us--some let us know their food favorites (thank you!). The staff was great, friendly and very quick with our drinks and food. Looking forward to becoming a regular and taking a trips to the other Rebel Dog Co.'s other locations in Connecticut.

They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

When I first got here, the barista was not ready to take orders yet, so I sat down while they prepped for the day. After about 15 minutes they were ready, so I ordered a basic latte and sat back down. The coffee bar has no food and only coffee and matcha drinks, relying on other businesses to fill that gap when they don't offer food at the primary location. The hours on Saturday don't match up with the other local businesses, so it leads to the ability to get coffee but not food till at least an hours time from open. The latte was basic, coffee is of a decent quality and the milk was frothy. No real design work beyond a basic onion off-center. They had one special latte, a pb&j inspired iced latte. Opted against, since they were still prepping for those orders when I went to order. It's functional coffee for the area. Not bad but not special either.
