We were on the hunt for homemade breakfast on a wet and rainy Sunday morning but in need of something new. We came across Homa and boy did they deliver. Tucked inside of a boutique hotel you would have no idea the food coming out of the kitchen was top notch. Street parking may be limited but I'm pretty sure they have a private lot on the side of the building. Once inside, you are immediately greeted by the counter where you'll order, pay, take a number and find a cozy seat either inside, outside or in the covered green room type area. The food, although a bit pricey, was worth every penny. Offering breakfast and lunch items and even something for the kiddos like chicken tendies, they're sure to appease most crowds. The pancakes were out of bounds. Fluffy, buttery and cooked perfectly and massive in size accompanied by eggs and bacon resulting in a well rounded all American breakfast. Their meat pie, very much like an empanada, was flaky on the outside and packed with flavorful meat inside and a garlic style sauce on the side for dipping. It doesn't come with a side so they're thin and crispy French fries were the perfect combination. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to offering menu items suggestions. And the space downstairs was cozy and warm. Somewhere I could see myself bringing my computer to get some work done. Overall, great find just outside of downtown.

Espresso consistently tastes burnt here. Food is good, small portions but flavor is there. Would recommend the fries! Wait staff is friendly, vibes are cozy - good for meetings and studying. Just skip the coffee.

Cozy plant-filled café with great cocktails and good food The café shares space with the hotel lobby and has a warm, relaxed vibe with lots of seating options--great for hanging out or working with a coffee. Their cocktails were great. I always ask staff for food recs, but the entree menu had just launched, so they didn't have much feedback yet. I tried the Butternut Squash Pappardelle--a great concept, but it was too salty for me. The next day, I had the Cutting Board, which was generous and high-quality (cheeses, meats, spreads, pickles). It would've been perfect with a touch of fresh fruit or veggies for balance. Espresso drinks were fine, but note: their standard is one shot in a 12 oz cup, and the barista seemed unfamiliar with some basic coffee lingo. If you're particular about coffee, I'd recommend Loyal Coffee across the street--for specially crafted espresso drinks. As a hotel guest, I wished that they had more grab and go options for breakfast or for lunch on the trail. Still, Homa is a solid on-site option with great atmosphere and good drinks. Would definitely stop by again, even if I weren't staying at the hotel.

I ordered the french toast and added bacon (thick cut and crispy) and scrambled eggs (moist and flavorful). Everything was delicious! The hot coffee was average. They did have a light and dark roast with free refills, although no one came back to check on that so I refilled it myself at the bar. The space was warm. The cafe was located inside of Kinship Landing Hotel - the parking attached to the hotel was for hotel guests only. There was a decent amount of street parking on the surrounding streets.

So this is a place to come just for the vibes and aesthetic. It's a really pretty place with high ceilings and tons of natural sunlight. There are also seating indoors if you need a nice quiet little space. It's a nice setup for meetups, first dates, group hangouts, etc. With that said, the design is the only thing worth coming here for. Food was pretty average at best. I had the local and while it was a decent sandwich but it felt like it was missing something. I do like the sprouts that it came with and how the bread was locally sourced. The potatoes were alright. Maybe come here for some coffee and a quick bite so you can support Homas but also enjoy the cafe space.

We stopped here after the Olympic Museum. My kids had the breakfast and I had the club sandwich. All excellent and the weather was nice so the kids could play and we sat outside.

I was pretty disappointed. The pancakes are pretty airy and light which was nice but otherwise I expected a lot more based on photos and reviews. The kimchi breakfast sandwich was unimpressive and the fries hard and the root veggies hash was fine. I wouldn't go back for it. The back room that looks like a greenhouse was actually only a smoke room, and I think this was the most disappointing as I imagined to have brunch there instead of booths where hotel guests would chill before leaving after checking out (suitcases and all). They also forgot the hash so we had to remind them that was also in our order.

This place is gorgeous inside. They offer all healthy options. If you are sick of traditional sugary breakfast, Homs is a great alternative. The food is great. I can tell they put effort in creating the dishes. The only reason why it's not 5-star for me is because of the mysterious spot on the water glass. Gross. They don't use disposable cups, which is a plus, but it should come with quality control too.

Besides having a spacious and pretty eating area both inside and indoor porch, the place has a rather a small menu having limited options to alter and accommodate. We got their breakfast sandwiches and bowl! The focaccia was good and the vibes were comforting.

We stayed at the Kinship Landing and this cafe + bar is a part of the hotel. We decided to give it a try since we didn't feel like going out for food. Boy, I'm glad we gave this place a try. The space itself is inviting, cozy, minimal, and gives egalitarian urban vibes! I extra appreciated all of the greenery and plants throughout. The food is phenomenal and they use locally sourced ingredients. I have an obsession with grain/salad bowls, and this fried cauli bowl was amazing. Definitely hit the spot. My husband got the Mt. Rokko bowl which has miso-braised short rib. He really enjoyed his too. The St. Ives handpie was sold out so we got the Momo handpie. It was good, but the bottom wasn't crisp enough and fell apart easily when we cut it in half.

Food was so so. Green Chili Stew was not hot or warm for that matter -- temperature wise or spiciness. Disappointing to have a room temperature dishes brought to the table to eat. Sandwiches were large and were also expected to be warm, but were also cool. The kitchen and staff are not in sync. At this place you order at a central counter, find a table and food is delivered to you. The place is spacious, the menu appealing to look at, but not in execution.

Stop by after checking out the CityRock climbing gym (down the street) - Location is part of a hotel - No espresso machine, but does server drip coffee and cold brew - Has a coffee latte on tap (they call it Oat Milk Draft Latte), the server gave me a sample before ordering which was nice, and beneficial because it wasn't for me. - Offers specialty cocktails and draft beer - A lot of seating space - booths, tables, high tops, and bar seating. The area behind the bar is large and has a lot of natural light which was nice around lunchtime on a cold day. - The bar top seating near the window presents a beautiful picturesque view of the mountains. - I love the plants and how they add to the aesthetics - They have parking in the back, but that may be for the guests of the hotel. I'm not sure, I did street parking ($1.50/hr coin or credit card accepted) Enjoying the Fried Cali bowl, tasty and had a pleasant little kick of spice. Service was friendly - went on a Monday so it was pretty chill.

It was not. I've been ordering that martini for 27 years. After much discussion, the waitress agreed to bring me three olives. She did not want to take the drink back. We ordered the shrimp skewers and the corn and lobster balls. The shrimp was criminally overdone, basically seafood jerky. Neither my wife nor I could even taste the lobster in the balls, much less see any actual lobster meat in them. Lots and lots of corn, though. Very disappointing experience. The view was amazing, but for the price we paid, the service and food were substandard.

I have to admit that the ambience is really cool; you walk down into a basement to enter the restaurant, which used to be the city morgue, and while that's a little bit creepy, it gives the space a dark, velvety vibe that I think some people would really like. However, for a higher-end establishment, I found the service to be kind of spotty and not quite up to par. My biggest disappointment was the food, as we ordered two entrées to share and found both to be rather disappointing and honestly kind of bad, which was especially frustrating given how expensive they were. While it might have just been the specific dishes we chose, the combination of high prices, underwhelming food, and inconsistent service means I likely won't be back, even if the unique atmosphere was interesting to see once.
