This is a well known Sichuan spot in flushing with many mentions in the Michelin guide for a…read morereason. This spot is a slightly more elevated and nicely decorated with warm and friendly service. I ordered a Sichuan classic, twice cooked pork, and a new dish I've never seen before, snow pea leaves in broth. The twice cooked pork was a fantastic iteration of this dish. The pork was sliced thin with the perfect amount of chew which paired well texturally with the soft, buttery leeks. The flavor was so well balanced while being heavily seasoned and the smoky wok hei flavor really comes through. The snow pea leaves were soft and silky with tender stems, and they came served in a golden broth with some mushrooms, juicy tomato and snappy pieces of black fungus. The dish is topped with a century egg. I found the broth itself to have a bit of a grainy texture when sipped. I've tried century egg in the past and while I'm not disgusted by it, I never quite felt like I understand the ingredient until eating this dish. The creamy, funky flavor of the egg reminds me of blue cheese and it pairs very well with the subtle flavors of the snow pea leaves and amplifies the richness of the broth. I really enjoyed my experience here and would like to return with a group to try more of the Sichuan classics on the menu.

Unfortunately, they didn't have Duncan crab. I will try next time around. Tips: They give you an iPad, to see pictures of the dishes, but you cannot order on the iPad.

This place is not fancy but it's a good neighborhood spot I think. First the service, the bartender Mia was nice and attentive. She can make a mean cocktail. I would come back just to try those honestly. I ordered a lemon drop and it was good. Second the prices. Listen I don't think you can beat those prices. Beer is around $5 Cocktails from $8-10 and a personal pizza (the only food offered) is $8. Pool is $1 just make sure you have quarters or the bartender can make change for you. The pizzas were decent. You definitely can split between 2 people. Wish they offered more food options though. Come here if you just needs a spot for cheap good drinks and to chat with friends. Very laid back.

While cuz is sitting at the bar taking to his boys , I am across the bar at my own table watching the Yankees and met game while the world cup is on most of the giant screens . Prices for booze is reasonable and I ain't sure if they serve food as I didn't notice any at the bar or the tables . A cool relaxing pub to get your drink on and watch sports without the noise or frat atmosphere. 4 stars on my yelp meter.
