Completely unacceptable experience here…read more I was the only customer in the shoe department. I waited over twenty five minutes, hoping to try on several pairs of shoes in my size. Two young employees in the shoe department were focused on restocking; after fifteen minutes of waiting, I asked one of them for assistance. (I also heard on one of their radios that someone was waiting for assistance in the shoe department. That'd be me - the only customer in the shoe department.) The two young employees avoided eye contact and the one I asked for help from told me the other employee would help me - I waited another ten minutes and neither stopped restocking to help me. I felt invisible, and angry, that I even bothered driving the 30 minutes it took to get here. I was planning on buying at least two expensive pairs of shoes for the upcoming school year - but alas, I'll be looking elsewhere. Not sure if the pressure to restock is so great from higher-ups or if the two young workers were simply avoiding working with customers. Either way, I will NEVER be back in this Dick's as there is clearly something wrong in this location. Looking at the other Yelp reviews, I'm not the only one with a bad shoe department experience. What a shame.

I've purchased e-bikes online (direct purchase from…read moremanufacturer) but was never satisfied and when issues arose, ex.: the bike stopped working with 164 miles on it, that company didn't want to cover it. I decided to shop local instead and after a lot of research, I thought that it would be worth my while paying a visit to Seacoast e-Bikes. Wow!! Am I glad I did. The lady that assisted me was not only very knowledgeable but extremely patient and made sure that my questions were answered. She pulled no less than a half dozen bikes for me to try and seemed vested in making sure that I had the right bike with the right fit. She wasn't pushy or even tried to oversell. You could see that she had my interest, just like if she was the customer. The service didn't stop there. After picking my bike, they made sure that it was well adjusted and road worthy. The owner even checked up on me to see if everything was in order. While waiting for my bike to be ready, I also witnessed how returning customers were treated ... It reassured me that I made the right choice. We have another bike to buy for this upcoming season, and we are heading to Seacoast e-Bikes without even looking at other dealerships because they do customer service the old fashion way. BTW, I am not affiliated with the shop, the owner(s) or the staff. I was not paid nor even asked to write this review. I am just a VERY Satisfied customer.

I have put over 400 miles on it and it's going strong. I bought the bike from a dealer, Seacoast e-Bikes, because it is a fairly complex piece of machinery which requires some amount of care and feeding. Just about the time the bike was ready for its' tuneup (free at Seacoast), I got a flat tire. The flat was in the rear wheel with all sorts of connections to the chain, motor, gears etc. I dropped the bike off at Seacoast and the fixe the flat, and did the tuneup for a total of $50. If I had bought the bike via mail order I would have paid a lot more. They even dropped the bike off at my house free of cost. Shane, Frank and Steve and the rest of the staff really care about their customers, and know bike maintenance and repair cold. There is no reason to buy an e-bike mail order, because sooner or later it will need service and maintenance. If I could give 10 stars on this review I would. s

Perhaps, only if you're seeking the smallest game on a very short trip. Is there really such a thing ever as having TOO much? Perhaps, there is no such a thing if you're a "responsible" prepper or an avid enthusiast seeking to advance yourself to handle just about ANY situation thrown your way - including the apocalypse. I definitely do not believe there is such a thing as having too much. And I can bet on it that most of the people here today at Kittery Trading Post feel the same way. Yes, the prices are mostly MSRP and sometimes higher. Yes, you can most likely (99% of the time) get a better deal elsewhere (especially online). But where can you actually have the opportunity to TOUCH everything or be likely seduced to WANT more because you weren't aware that such an item even existed? Here, at KTP, that is exactly what happens. You think you have a particular item in mind? How about being thrown more options that most other stores even dream of carrying? Thought you liked something online? How about holding that item in person and deciding if it is the right fit for just a fraction more of the price (and avoid the need to make returns for the most part?) How about being swayed into another product because you "apparently" didn't research it enough to realize there are even BETTER options that fit your exact needs (or because it's more expensive and you can justify it in person, lol)? Kittery Trading Post is definitely one of my ultimate retail spots as an outdoor enthusiast and an avid prepper (for whatever possible events will ever unfold in my fantasies). And every time I'm here, I always leave with at least one new toy for the personal arsenal. Definitely love this place even if it's not exactly the best bang for the buck.

Details: Every summer my family and I vacation in Ogunquit and this is my second year visiting Liquid Dreams for a SUP rental. Last year I barely knew how to paddleboard and the staff was incredibly helpful with tips and advice! Made me feel really comfortable despite being a little out of my element at a surf shop. Since then, I've had a lot of experience with SUPs and so I was excited to go back. My sister and husband were game, as well, so I figured we would spend a morning going out on the water. Two days beforehand, I stopped by the shop to find out their hours and saw a sign for SUP yoga - something I have been itching to try for the past year but either didn't have the opportunity or chickened out. I'm a beginner yogi, and not a total SUP expert, but I couldn't say no again, so I signed up. SO GLAD I DID IT - the instructor was incredible both at yoga, and at making us feel comfortable on the boards the entire time, offering plenty of pose modifications. There were only a few of us, so it was really peaceful and yet challenging at the same time. I left feeling sad that it was over, but stronger for having done it. I now have plenty of ideas for how to develop a SUP yoga practice of my own once I have my own board (which they also gave me advice on!) I really can't say enough good stuff about this place and can't wait to go back next year. And if you love good, fresh food, next door is an amazing restaurant (Hooks) whose staff is equally as amazing.
