While…read morethe cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure.

I thought I had a pretty big plumbing issue and contacted Copper State plumbing to get some assistance. Javier came out to my house with an hours of my initial phone call. The staff that first responded to my phone call was so polite, kind, courteous, and explain some of the process. Javier came out and looked at the situation and was able to problem solve with the process of elimination. To be on the safe side since he was unable to detect a leak whatsoever, he contacted a restoration service to help me to make sure that I didn't have a leak that you couldn't see to the eye.. I have a pretty large crack in my ceiling 21 inches long so I really thought that my upstairs bathroom had a problem impacting in my downstairs bathroom.. I purchased this home, not too long ago and Javier reassured me that if there was a leak, he would find it.. When we spoke, he mentioned that he used to work for the union,, And so did my brother, stepbrother and stepdad.. I know that he comes with a lot of experience many many years, so I was confident with his service. He was super kind, professional, and explain things in layman terms for me. Today I called Copper State Plumbing Services to resolve what the City of Avondale said was a sewer…read moreblockage somewhere between the house and the sewer line. A tech came to the house on Thurs. and said they would check the cleanout drain to see if that resolved the issue, but after helping find the cleanout drain, it had not been uncovered and once Rocco found it he was able to clear the obstruction. Rocco was at the house for about an hour. He was very friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable, and helpful. His rates were less than expected, but I was very grateful.
