After a flight and drive up to Stevenson, we needed to grab a bite to eat, and the wedding party we were apart of had eaten here the day before so we decided to give it a try. For starters we tried the porky's revenge - which is supposedly hot made to order chicharones topped with pulled pork, beer cheese sauce, and other fixings. The chicharones weren't hot temperature wise, and while the flavors of the toppings were good, I think these on fries would be better. Most the of chicharones ended up getting soggy real quick, but the crispy bites were good. Don't know if I'd order again but it sounded so good that we had to give it a try. We also got a spinach dip, which was alright. The chips it came with actually went better with the porky's revenge. For my main, I decided to go with their 'shoulda gouda woulda' burger with their homemade bacon jam, beef patty, fixings, and truffle aioli sauce. The burger patty itself wasn't super filling and the bacon jam kind of overpowered the entire burger. Not sure if I'd get again, I'd probably just go for a regular burger next time. My girlfriend got the poke bowl, which was surpingsly decent. While it was 75% rice, the other flavors were fresh tasting. Not a bad option if you are looking for something healthier and lighter. We came in around 12-1pm, and the restaurant wasn't super busy so we got seated and served right away. Everyone we encountered was super nice and were good about checking in on us throughout the meal. Overall, not the best, not the worst, and with limited options for dining the area, I would eat here again over eating whatever the hotel was serving, especially with the pricing at Red bluff being fairly affordable.

Generous portions of haddock, fish, and chips

The four of us stopped into red Bluff today for lunch. It was once again delicious. We had to bring Family to try the brussels sprouts which are insane. Today I had the fish and chips. The fish portions were haddock and were larger in size. Very flaky very delicious. It came with coleslaw and fries. A generous amount of fries for sure. My sister had the tuna salad with large pieces of tuna. She said it was also very good. My wife had the The brisket sandwich. It seems like it would be good, but for my personal taste, it was a little bit on the dry side. My father-in-law had the Aoba, which was really good. I had a generous amount of shrimp in it. The brussels sprouts though made the day. So good.

Service was amazing with a very knowledgeable staff. I had the fish tacos (not pictured because I ate them so fast because they were delicious!) The jalapeño and pineapple in top was a pleasant surprise! Bar is open seating. 16 beers on tap.

We came here for our anniversary lunch and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and prompt. Any place with a sign that says "Be nice or leave" is worthwhile. My love's mac and cheese with pulled pork was balanced, filling, and yum. I had the Brussel sprout starter. I'm glad I didn't also order an entree as it was so big I couldn't finish it. I really liked the way it was prepared. My only complaint is the reduced apple cider. It was too sweet, a reduction of apple cider and apple cider vinegar would had be been perfect. Overall, a good choice. Interesting things on the menu for when we come back.

Delish burger! Good setting. Good service. Would recommend if you're in town for work or relaxing by the water.

Ok, I didn't know what to expect at this location but this drink. Holy cow! Freshly squeezed lime juice. The cinnamon kick. Dang so good. The bartender is amazing and she moves fast and furious and gets it done! Great place! Will come again.

Monday, June 3, 2024. Dinner. I sat at the bar, since this place was packed with fellow work conference attendees that I didn't know. The bartender was super accommodating by splitting my bill into two. Beer on one, food on the other. Note: this establishment is closed on Wednesdays. They close at 8:30 PM on Sunday through Thursday and at 9 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. This place opened its doors in 2016 and has been going strong since. They had 14 local beers on tap and 2 ciders. The bartender let me sample beers 1-5, which included the Breakside pilsner (5.2%), Recluse Czech pilsner (4.8%), Recluse Fire and Flowers spring bock pale ale (6.8%), Chuckanut Kolsch (4.5%) and the Barrel Mountain Be Happy Hefeweizen (4.7%). I bought pints ($7 /each) of the pale ale and the Breakside pilsner. The kolsch and the hefeweizen tasted "off". They just strayed away too far from style guidelines. I ordered the Double Stacked BLT ($15) and upgraded to a double decker (extra layer of bacon, lettuce and tomato) for an additional $3. The double decker comes with 2 layers of bacon, lettuce and tomato between Texas Toast with a wonderful garlic aioli sauce. The bartender told me that the garlic aioli sauce really makes the sandwich. I agreed. I upgraded my side to garlic parmesan fries ($2 more), which were magnificent. They melted in my mouth! They didn't skimp on the bacon, which tasted thick and smoky. I wish I could have tasted more of the beers. The bartender, Justin, was fun to talk to. I loved the sandwich and the fries. A great place to relax with drinks and excellent food.

We rented a cabin in the area and tried to find a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon this place. Walked in and the hostess asked if we wanted to sit in the restaurant or the bar and we chose the bar. The bartender didn't even greet us or acknowledge us when we sat down. We waited 5+ mins and ended up asking her for a menu. Still didn't say hi or welcome us in. Service was not so great in my opinion. We orders a burger and fish and chips and 2 drinks. The fries were good. The fish was very skimpy and not worth the money. Burger was also okay. Drinks were good. Very refreshing. Won't be returning to this establishment due to lack of customer service.

Second time eating here and will eat here whenever I come back to the Gorge. I ate both the seasonal salad and the Mac and cheese. (Lots of food for a hiking gal) I don't know that I've ever eaten a salad with strawberries but it was scrumptious. Can never go wrong with a green salad. Mac and cheese is always my go to. Loved every single bite! Overall the food was delicious and they were very quick with getting food out. I was impressed by the waiter!

All good things! We stopped in for dinner on a Friday @ 5. Skipped the drinks but got the Spicy Smoked Steak Bulgogi sandwich w/ corn salad & the Coulda Gouda Woulda Burger w/ fries. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was quick and with a smile in this cozy place. Street parking was easy to find on the main drag.

The food was delicious; each of us ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their meal. I got the salmon fish and chips, and it was SO good. I'm so used to fish and chips being made with cod or other white fish, so this was a fun change. Despite being a pub, this place is family-friendly. The kid's menu was perfect for my little nephew, and my sister was very pleased with the quality of his burger meat and the fact that you can sub fries for veggie sticks for kiddos. You don't see that sort of thing very often. We had a great time!

Full Sail is a very well respected micro brewery, founded in 1987 and the first craft brewery in the Pacific Northwest to bottle its beer. It's flagship Amber has won numerous awards, including recently in 2025 a Gold Medal at the NY International Beer Competition (along with the brewery being named Oregon Brewery of the Year). It has a large line-up of beers brewed inhouse There is a large paid parking lot across the street at $1.25 per hour, payable via credit card through nearby kiosks. Once entering, there is a long hallway, walking past the working areas of the brewery, until getting to the restaurant area. It has views of I-84, and further the Columbia River. The outdoor patio was not open (drizzling outside), and it was pretty crowded inside but we got lucky to be seated at a table near windows with a view. There have lunch and happy hour specials during weekdays. The lunch special is 1/2 of a sandwich (grilled cheese this day) along with a cup of their soup of the day (tomato). I was super excited about the Amber, so got a pint of that ($8) and pint of the Queen Wheat ($8). My wife enjoyed the Queen Wheat but didn't care for the Amber. I really liked the Amber, making me realize why I had drunk so much of that style earlier in my life when in Wisconsin, before switching over to wheat beer. There selection of beer is great, and a flight is the way to go ($18 of 6 5oz samplers). Buffalo Hot Wings ($17) - a decent amount of simply deep fried hot wings in a classic Frank's red hot buffalo sauce. Pretzel Bread Sticks ($13) - 4 large, warmed pretzels. Should have gotten the beer cheese to go with it. Salmon Fish & Chips ($20) - 3 small pieces of beer battered salmon, very dense and definitely tasting of wild caught salmon. It came with good fries and a really good, fresh cole slaw. There is a small refrigerator stocked with cans of certain beers for sale. Unfortunately, we were dismissively told that they were out of the Amber bottles for sale. So after our meal, went to the front to purchase directly from the front staff. Their Japanese rice beer from their Session lineup ($10 for a six pack) was available and what we brought back home with us.

I highly recommend visiting after 8:00 PM when the pool becomes an 21+ area. * Thoughtful Details: The robes provided were high quality and very comfortable. Pro-tip: Be sure to bring flip-flops for the walk to and from the pool area. * Art & Dining: The murals throughout the hotel are fascinating to look at. We also had great experiences at the on-site bars and the Black Rabbit Restaurant, where both the food and the service were excellent. The Room & Stay Quality We specifically booked a room with a private bathroom and shower. However, most rooms at this location utilize communal facilities. Unfortunately, our room was located very close to the shared bathrooms and lavatories. Due to a complete lack of etiquette from other guests using those facilities, it was extremely noisy throughout the night. Because of the poor sleep quality and the noise levels, we likely won't be staying here again. It's a beautiful property, but the layout and noise issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our birthday celebration.
