I was passing through Stevenson and stopped to get takeout Mac and Cheese with Bacon and their "Dirty" Fries. I took it to my hotel so a bit cold but the flavor was exceptional!! The smoky chicken and bacon in the Mac and Cheese was a completely wonderful surprise! The fries had bits of bacon and were very flavorful and plentiful. Went Friday night for our daughters birthday. I had the Pra Ram or peanut chicken because it was Thai Friday. It was absolutely delicious. I feel the peanut sauce was a bit too thick but it didn't deter me from devouring all I could. The girls loved their fish tacos and the husband had a Tap House burger his favorite. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere, wait staff very attentive. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is a plus. Have eaten here several times as well as take out and it has always been good. We all recommend eating here while in Stevenson Washington. read more

First time here. Stopped by on our way to Skamania Lodge on a Wednesday. Cute and very clean inside. Owner was busy sweeping etc while we were there. Nice deck in back not a great view though. Server was pleasant and attentive. I tried the Red Bluff burger on a gluten free bun, they use Udi's. This comes with fries or upgrade for salad etc. for extra. You get a beef patty, a slab of cream cheese, some sliced jalapeños and some bacon jam. Bun is toasted, flavor fine, eats a little dry. Wife tried Farmhouse BBQ burger regular bun. Patty, bacon, fried egg, bbq sauce and crispy onions. They forgot the onions but fixed it. Onions pieces are crispy but small, wife said they wouldn't stay in burger. She said the taste was good but needed more bbq sauce. Fries were pretty crisp but a little tough. I pointed this out and they made fresh for us. Better the second time. Overall a nice brew pub. I took my Aunt here today for lunch! Wow the Ahi salad was Delicious. Perfectly seared and the flavor was delightful. I also had the blueberry cider it was very Good. My Aunt had the fish and chips and she really Loved the fish. She said it was the Best she has had and she really loved the Slaw as well. It was a nice clean atmosphere and the Service was spot on. The owner decided to respond privately and clarify that it wasn't blood. It was ketchup. Plus the customers were "happy." She also said they were very busy and people had "reservations" and that's why they were seated sooner. I don't think that's true, as we could hear each customer come in and ask to be seated and then complain to one another about things when they finally were seated. Ah well. They followed Covid guidelines exceptionally well while being polite, kind & respectful! Just had a great date night with my husband walking at Skamania Lodge and then dinner at Red Bluff Taphouse. It was SO GOOD. The service was phenomenal. The ladies were attentive and kind and funny and just a great hang. Super clean and welcoming with TVs in the bar but not overwhelming and loud. It was cozy. I had the dirty hippie burrito and it was filled with cream cheese goodness, mushrooms, red peppers and heaven. I don't know what all was in it to be honest but it was spectacular. Came with a great side salad of field greens. My husband ordered the filthy fries and street corn - also delicious. I mean we didn't get the healthiest meals but there were healthy options and it was all very fresh and creative. The street corn was bomb. The fries were hot and perfect consistency not soggy like some get. We didn't order beer which obviously is a fail at a tap house but my guess is the beer would simply have complimented this great meal. I would go lower than one star if I can. The food is horrible, the service goes with the food. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and Dirty fries as appetizers. The sprouts were ok-ish if you take away the surplus of fat. The fries were supposed to have this amazing parmesan garlic dressing but looked more like cold alfredo sauce. We also ordered the Kick-n chicken and Yakisoba noodles. The chicken was tasteless and the breading had to much grease. The noodles....oh,boy!.... so salty that my stomach started to hurt. I let the waiter know and his answer was that he didn't cook them and it might be from the peas( which were fresh). He did not offer any solution to the problem. We waited a long , long time for the food to come. The staff seemed annoyed with us because we asked to switch the tables and we could feel their "looks". Restaurant was not really busy at that time so no clue why the attitude but the entire staff seemed to be very young. Good regional beer list, locals enjoy the overrated backwoods brew, but many other good local brews. The wood design and old fixture from the former business are well integrated . I got three pieces of fish, each about the size of a meatball, grossly overcooked, and greasy, soggy, overdone fries that were inedible. Actually, the worst fries I have ever been served. Service was mediocre. Prices very high for the area. My fish & chips were $17. A basic burger is $12. The vibe was dope, the sitting area both inside and outside was nice and accommodating. The manager cared more about my poor experience than the owner. She offered explanations and apologies. Sean boasted that he's not had any complaints. Here's a tip for you Sean, let your employees handle the customers and leave it at that. No need what so ever for you to call your customers if your going to behave in that manner!
