Your response makes zero sense if you take the time to read my complaint. This fault lies clearly on Red Bowl! I ordered via Uber Eats. Red Bowl stapled WRONG NAME AND RECEIPT on bag. Instead of correcting mistake you suggested I just eat the wrong order (sushi) instead of chinese food I ordered. I think your sushi is sub par and I would never eat much less order. Red Bowl made no attempt to correct $80 mistake (including Uber tip) So I got screwed out of $80. No way to do business in any trade. Your response is embarrassing. read more

I returned for a pickup order and I got there a little before the kitchen finished my order (they were quite busy. I had to go back to my car because I had my dog with me waiting in the car. They brought the order out to me shortly after in my car! A#1 service PLUS fantastic food. Can't ask for more! read more

Very friendly here, they really did a great job of fixing this location up, the inside lined with shiplap (feels like an episode of fixer upper). The food was good, we got a bunch of stuff to share: Chow Fon, Crispy Chicken, and walnut shrimp. I enjoyed the crispy chicken, like its name it had a great crunch and it was not overly sauced. The chow fun was average, noodles were a little under cooked. I liked the walnuts in the walnut shrimp, but it needed more sauce and the shrimp was soggy. Lastly I got the Chirashi for a main dish, the presentation was beautiful, and they did load up the thing with fish. I will be back to see how they improve. read more

We ordered delivery. The food actually came quite earlier than expected, so that was good. However the food itself was pretty awful. The Crab Rangoon's were over cooked and dry. The Sesame Chicken was also tough and dry. The broccoli in the Sesame Chicken was not cooked enough. The Spring roll was small and dry. The only thing that was remotely edible was the pork dumplings. We couldn't eat it and threw most of it away. No fortune cookies either. I know that's not a big deal, but we get it with any other place we've ordered from. I came here for my friends birthday and it was pretty good. The sushi I had was good and my friends enjoyed their meal as well. It is byob which is great. My only complaint is that for whatever reason my friends meals came out about 15 minutes (maybe more) before mine. Not sure what happened but it is awkward when everyone is eating or waiting for longer than 10 minutes for your food to come out before they start eating. The staff was nice about it and apologized multiple times which made up for it. The staff is nice and attentive. read more

This is my favorite place to get sushi in the northern Bergen county area. It's a bit pricy, but the taste is amazing. I normally get an eel avocado roll, a shrimp tempura roll, and a house salad. The fried rice is also great. It doesn't matter what meat or vegetable you get. I've ordered much more from here but those are my favorite. I really do love this restaurant and I strongly suggest you try it. I could eat this every night if I had the money for it! read more

We are usually sends of this local Asian restaurant. However, yesterday I was shocked by the lack of customer service. We ordered our food, and when it was delivered we quickly realized that they had forgotten the white rice to mix into our entrée. This was very disappointing as my husband could not start dinner. We called to ask what had happened, and they offered to bring us the rice. About 10 minutes later we got a phone call confirming that we really did want the rice delivered. About 10 minutes after that device arrived at our doorstep. The problem here is that for 20 minutes, while we were all eating, my husband just sat at the table, but was not able to partake. Secondly, and probably most important was at the restaurant really didn't see that this was a big issue. When I called back, they offered to give me credit for the rice. However, the rice is included with the meal, so I'm not sure what kind of credit they were going to offer me. All I'm saying is it would've been nice if they had some customer service and offered us a complementary appetizer for the next order. I think it is important for restaurants to understand that while they have challenges. customers do as well. And if I'm going to spend discretionary dollars, I am certainly going to be very selective about where I spend them. Luckily for us there's a plethora of Chinese/Asian restaurants around the area so if I don't think that the restaurant is providing satisfactory customer service- then on to the next!! read more

This place is not good compared to all the competition you can chose from. The food is bland, customer service is horrible and they can't handle it when busy in the kitchen. I had ordered food and they sent me a Pad Thai with no sauce or flavoring. Picture dry pasta (not even traditional pad Thai noodles) chicken and peanuts in the corner. Zero sauce or flavor. I called the next day to tell them and they yelled at me why I called a say after. I didn't realize there was a 2 hour only window for complaints. I didn't ask for anything in return I merely wanted them to know they're quality was bad. It's weird a business in a competitive area would discredit a complaint by saying it took you the next day to complain. It should be noted they were closed by the time I actually opened the dish last night so it was pointless to call them. Also it should be noted the dish wasn't touched and I offered to give it back to them so they can QC look at what was wrong with it. Again I wanted nothing in return. But the rudeness, blandness of the food and difficulty communicating just makes going here a waste when compared to all the other options in the area. My wife also thought they're food tasted like mall food. Try some of the other options around for more authentic food with people who care about what their customers think. read more

It's ok! But a little pricey. I'm not really a fan of the combination Asian food places. I'd rather a place focus on one and really execute in that rather than dabble in the cuisine and have them be just ok for what the prices are. Waldwick has two other Chinese food places and a sushi place and now a new Korean fusion place. So too me they are kind of unnecessary to be placed here when there are deep rooted places here the will get my business before them. Ever feel like you have been taken. Ordered food and the to go containers were almost empty. Food OK but six to eight very small and greasy pieces of scallion pancake for $6.50. The cold sesame noodles did not have any sesame. They did not close the lid properly so we had all sesame noodled and the watery sauce all over the place. another waste of $6.95. Amazing. Possibly the best Asian Fusion restaurant in Bergen county. Came in tonight to a NEW MENU try the yummy yummy rolls or the Mad Hatter ROLL, they're amazing...additionally we had the drunken noodles...whoa while they're spicy there so authentic! Amazing Asian cuisine! We are visiting NJ and just tried this place for the first time with family. We picked up curbside and paid over the phone which made us feel very safe. The food was ready quickly and was fresh and packed neatly. Everything was delicious. We ordered a variety of soup (hot & sour, egg drop) - all great. We ordered moo shu chicken which was tasty but missing the pancakes. When we called to let them know they actually drove a whole new order to our house. Totally unexpected but wonderful customer service. The prices are very reasonable as well. Very exciting to find a wonderful new place for take out. We will be back! read more

Phone service is beyond horrendous! I know that this is a busy time for a lot of restaurants, however, most places have a functional, working plan in place. With Red bowl, it's infuriating to call the same place over and over again just to have someone finally pick up the phone and put you on hold, and then hang up on you! I tried calling back so many times and keep getting a busy signal. If they can afford getting a second line, why wouldn't they?! There are so many Asian restaurants around, so it may be time to explore other options. read more

The chicken and shrimp were not fresh so I didn't continue eating, as to avoid getting sick. This is my favorite Asian Fusion restaurant! Red Bowl has something for everyone. Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Asian Fusion. The Hibachi Scallops were out of this world. I have been thinking about them all day. The portions were generous. Our meal came with salad, soup and appetizer. The presentation was beautiful. Over-the-top De-lish! Don't miss out. Usually don't go to restaurants that offer mixed cuisines (ie. Chinese and Thai)...but since i don't like Chinese and my husband doesn't like Thai, we gave this place a shot. and....drum roll....totally awesome. They create nuanced, high quality, dishes for both menus. Portions are nicely sized for all we tried. By far, the best spare ribs we have ever eaten. Seriously. And we have eaten a lot at local places and fancy NYC locations. Large, fall off the bone tender with the most wonderful glaze. if you order nothing else, order these. Spicy Thai Basil Chicken is my favorite Thai entree, again, the best i have ever eaten (and i have eaten a lot). The vegetables are slivered vs large hunks, spice level is medium, generous amount of chicken. Chicken Chow Fun, perfectly done, noodles not overcooked, not greasy, well seasoned. Chicken Tempura, same review, perfectly cooked, crisp and not greasy at all. Green Curry with Chicken, a mild green curry, loaded with chicken. Another hit. Only dish we didn't love was the cold sesame noodles. Served with soy sauce on bottom of dish, peanut sauce on top and noodles weren't to our pleasing. Small portion. didn't have the creaminess we prefer. Just for fun we tried the Chicken Cheese egg roll. Tasted like chicken and cheese in an egg roll. Obviously bland.... go figure. Enjoy everyone! Just ate at Red Bowl and my mom and I found the food really delicious. The hot and sour soup was the best I have had in a long time. The crab rangoons were excellent. We shared the Thai fried rice and spicy crispy chicken and they were both delicious. The sauce on the chicken was tangy but not very spicy. While we would have liked it spicier it still had amazing flavor. The chicken stayed crispy, the sauce didn't make it go soggy. It was also very reasonably priced. The service was amazing, Rene was fantastic, engaging and attentive. We also had the opportunity to speak with the owner who was very kind. In fact she even gave us a special blend of tea which we very much enjoyed. The decor is updated, kind of a wired entrance as I think it was originally 2 stores. The lighting was not overly dark or bright, enough to easily read the menu. The menu options was very large, however I was not a real fan for the sushi or the chicken satay. Having tasted these offerings from other restaurants has no comparison. One of us had the walnut shrimp which she enjoyed. Another person had the udon and he had mixed reviews. My wife had the Singapore noodles which she said needed more Curry and more spicy. It was served with shrimp, I stole some from her and it was good. I had the Szechuan spicy filet mignon. It was not very spicy, beef was tender though it was sliced. I think this was the best dish of our meal but I maybe bias. Since it was one of our birthdays, Rene and the owner brought us fried ice cream and a happy birthday wish. I am a little harsh on the food but service was outstanding.
