I was so excited this place recently opened! I've been 3 timers so far and each time the food was amazing. It's a great BYOB and great customer service. The crazy couple and half and half rolls have been my favorites so far. I'm also excited the lunch specials for sushi are available Saturdays. Came here for the first time last night with my fiancé and the food lived up to the expectations after hearing from several friends who have come here since it opened. We ordered the steamed dumplings to start which were delicious. For our entrees we had the pineapple fried rice and the spicy Thai basil fried rice! We were stuffed! I'll definitely be coming back and try and leave some room for dessert. The menu was huge with plenty of choice and I'll have to come back for the lunch special as well which looks like a great deal! Love love love this place!!! They have the best steak teriyaki. It melts like butter in your mouth. It's soooo good. Sushi is great, the wontons are so delicate and can be eaten in 1 bite instead of fighting with a big doughy wonton. The beef saytay is a great starter. Was looking for a sit down place to get some Chinese food with my roommate when we stumbled upon this place. Was not expecting (though I was pleasantly surprised) the excellent decor and the amazing service. The place looks great, both inside and out, and everything feels warm and welcoming. As for the food, it was generally fantastic. I had a sushi and sashimi lunch, which was reasonably priced and tasted great, and my roommate had a chicken and broccoli lunch that she says was excellent as well. All in all, I feel like coming here for lunch was worth more than what we paid for it and I am fully intending on returning. Probably soon and with family. read more

I've read all the reviews and I just don't understand them. We went to a friends house last night and ordered from here for the first time. A majority of the food was uneatable. The scallion pancakes where bland, soggy, and chewy. The chicken pad thai was outright disgusting. I'm not exaggerating when I say the entire dish was pink! The sushi looked ok, but had a weird smell like it was sitting out too long. It tasted like it smelled....We ended up throwing out the sushi and chicken pad thai. Despite the brown egg and really muddy broth, we ate the ramen noodles. I blame that moment of weakness on being really really hungry. I never write reviews, but I decided to make the exception because this food was truly bad. Consumer beware! read more

I placed an order for delivery and was pleased with the service and most of all with the food. I ordered Malay Noodles with chicken, and I thought it would certainly arrive dried out. Much to my surprise, this was not at all the case! The chicken was moist and tender. The other dish I ordered was Moo Shoo Pork. The vegetables were perfectly cooked - not overdone and limp. I've had this dish elsewhere and was looking forward to having it from the Red Bowl. To be honest I was disappointed. Very little flavor on the chicken, the rice was under cooked and the veggies tasted like pure smoke. The soup (wanton) was good but the salad dressing was completely tasteless. Also the dish was WAY overpriced. While the amount of food was adequate I think $19 for some chicken, rice and veggies is too much. Came here for lunch. The restaurant is larger than I thought it would be. They have a nice variety of lunch specials. I had the Thai Basil Eggplant, which I had with Wonton Soup and White Rice (you get a choice of white rice, brown rice, or fried rice, and for soup you get a choice of wonton soup, hot and sour soup, or miso soup).
