Randomly stumbled upon this Thai restaurant. They have a great menu with all traditional Thai meals. Their Pad See Ew was really good, flavorful and great portion. We also had their shrimp and chicken dumplings and a house soup. It is a smaller restaurant but there is a good number of table seating. Service was great and was able to answer all of our questions. Due to the restaurant being on a Main Street in Ridgewood, parking can be tough at times but in addition to street parking, they also have a metered- parking lot literally right across the street. Overall, a nice option for local Thai food!

Came to Ridge Thai for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere for small groups and conversation. The food came out really quickly and staff was very kind and friendly. We ordered the Chicken Satay for our appetizer, which came with five skewers and two different sauces. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, and both sauces, especially the peanut sauce, paired well with the satay. Delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Red Curry and Pad See Ew. The curry was exactly what I needed to warm myself up. Not too spicy but very flavorful. It came with a small bowl of rice that I gobbled up pretty quickly. The Beef Pad See Ew was also delicious. The wide noodles had a bit of chew and the beef was well done. To top it all off, the Thai Iced tea very good--not too sweet, which it usually is for me, and helped wash everything down. Would definitely come back here again!!

Have been to this quite few times as it was one of our go to lunch spot. Their red curry, pad thai are pretty good. Tom yum soup is absolute delight. I do like to get their Thai iced tea. Nice cozy restaurant for a peaceful meal. Parking is little difficult to find during weekends and rush hours.

This place is excellent. The food is authentic and delicious and the staff is very friendly. Some of the best Thai noodle dishes I've ever had.

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

One thing I really liked is how customizable the menu is. You can choose different creams and ice cream flavors on top - they have a great variety, including strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, taro, ube, and more. The service was great. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and they let us know that the Japanese soufflé pancakes take about 15 minutes to prepare, which I was completely fine with since they're made fresh. The ambiance is chill and quiet. The café is tucked away on the side of the street - I actually missed it the first time and had to circle back. We were lucky to find street parking right in front, though there aren't many spots available. As for the pancakes themselves, I thought they were just okay. They're made with four eggs, and you can definitely taste them. That said, my daughter absolutely loved them, so it may just come down to personal preference.

Update to my earlier review from 2024…read more We dined in for the first time on a spring Friday evening at around 6 PM and we were pretty much were the only ones dining inside for a majority of our meal. However, they were plenty busy with takeout orders. Service was quick as the waiter took our order down and our food was out within MINUTES! I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which was a pretty good ramen considering they weren't a restaurant that specialized in ramen. The ramen was very tasty and like any other I've ordered from legit ramen restaurants. My wife ordered a custom poke bowl, which we've ordered many times before for pickup. The bowl was MASSSIVE and seemingly much bigger than what they typically give for takeout orders, although their takeout poke bowls are very generous too. For our kids, we ordered the House Special Fried Rice, which came with eggs and Chinese sausage. It was a solid fried rice and we were quite surprised it came with Chinese sausage because it's an ingredient we rarely see used for fried rice entrees at restaurants. Overall, our dining experience here was good and we loved that it was nice and quiet. It never got super busy, but a few parties did come in after us. The bread and butter of their business is definitely takeout though.

Dress pants, dress shoes and light blue polo. Totally appropriate. They told me that they didn't have any coffee. At first this was just weird (the place was virtually empty, and it is a CAFE). I asked if I could use the bathroom, and the lady looked me up and down. Her eyes locked on my rainbow necklace, and she said "you can go across the street." I thought she had to kidding, but as I looked at her I saw an expression that held mild disgust for me on her face. "Public restroom across the street" ( which there isn't...she was directing me to the stop and shop across the street, another business). I couldn't help but understand and feel what she was saying as: We don't want people like you here. Go where you belong. As I walked out I couldn't help but notice the sign they display that says "Ridgewood, There is No Place Like Home." I can't believe this exists in 2025 Ridgewood.
