We did the asylum room, which was fun and challenging, and had different elements that I haven't seen in escape rooms before. We did use clues, and ended up getting out in about 45 minutes, which apparently was a record for that room. But don't be fooled-it definitely wasn't easy! We wound up getting out with 20 seconds to spare (talk about cutting it close!) The owner was super cool and came out to talk to us and let us know that the rooms are somewhat rotating as he gets new ideas so I'm excited to go back again when there's a new theme. I can't wait!

I don't think we would've had the same experience had he not been our host. We did the Upside Down room at 9pm, and it was certainly hard (all the difficulty levels were listed on their website), but Ian was so incredibly patient, kind and helped us through the clues whenever we were stuck. After the 60-minutes, we were nowhere near escaping in time, and Ian let us keep playing the game until we finished, even though it was already incredibly late and he could have kicked us out at any time (which a lot of other people probably would have). The room itself was super thematic. Dark, moody, ambient, even had sound effects. I will absolutely be coming back to Cloak and Dagger to attempt the other rooms. Thankfully this location provides you with a heavy duty, large sized flashlight to use! I wish that the rooms were illuminated at least a bit more so that you can see most things without using a flashlight. Process to get hints is not very accessible. There is one screen in the main room that will populate written hints, but not said aloud. There aren't any hint buttons in any other room so you have to wave your arms to signal the game master and wait for the clue to show on the screen. Decor and props kinda date could use an update. Axe throwing and escape rooms are located on the second floor. No elevator available. Our game host Mason was very nice! Will be back to check out another room!

The room looked like Sherlock Homes filed for bankruptcy and had to furnish his office from a flea market clearance bin. The puzzles just didnt make sense, it wasnt "challenging", it was just a bunch of random shit thrown together, and we were just stuck there playing "guess what the owner was thinking". And the best part? They locked the door and then completely ghosted us on the walkie talkie. No hints, no responses, nothing. The walkie talkie turned out to be just as useless as the rest of the props. At that point it stopped being an escape room and started feeling like a low-budget hostage situation. I've had better communication from people that owe me money. Basically paid $100 to get locked in a bootleg Sherlock Holmes office with zero support. At one point I wasn't even trying to solve clues anymore, I was just wondering if I should start rationing oxygen and writing my will on the back of a fake clue envelope. ------------------- Response to owner: Yes, the walkie talkie was eventually replaced, but there was a solid stretch where we were locked in asking for help over and over with zero response. Not once, not twice, multiple times. At one point we literally gave up, sat down on the chairs, and just started having a full conversation. On the clues... we didn't ask to be completely abandoned, we just didn't want to be spoon-fed. There's a big difference between "let them figure it out" and "let's pretend they don't exist". And regarding the "wrong locks", that kind of proves my point. If everything feels like it could go anywhere, it stops feeling like solving puzzles and starts feeling like you're just trying random combinations and hoping something clicks. For the price this isnt worth it at all if im being honest. The experience just didn't match the price point, especially when part of the game was us sitting there like extras in a movie, waiting for someone to remember we were still locked inside.

That's what I love about it: it's a place for everyone, with no judgment, no airs, and every age and body type you can imagine, just trying to stay fit and healthy. Lots of machines and free weights, you can contract with a trainer if you want, and it's inexpensive. Best of all it's never crowded. Can't wait to see everything finished!

I have been to a few escape rooms on Fort Lauderdale. My favorite was Evolution Escape at Xtreme Action Park. It seemed perfect and completely immersive and well decorated and detailed. When I heard there was one near home, I couldn't imagine it anywhere near as good as the one I had gone to. As soon as we walked through the front doors, everything negative I had thought before, turned j to curiosity. The lobby alone looked cleaned and colorful. Painted walls to match the theme and location of each room. Ours was The Jewel Heist, and to put it into few words, it was an immersive experience I've been craving since Evolution, but the game hadn't started yet. Every small thing that Evolution had a few issues with, Red Button improved on and more. The longer we played, the more fun I was having. The puzzles were not all just lock and keys, and if they were they're made so intricately and entertaining, I'd forgotten that we'd done all of this on under an hour. I cannot recommend this place enough to people. It's just that much fun. If the price is something that stops you, I can assure you that your money will be well spent. You will enjoy every moment in Red Button. I am also excited for the two new rooms coming out and also for The Prison Escape next week we come back. Count me in. If this seems like a lot, it probably is, but that's just how much fun I had. Round 2,let's go. read more

We did Jewel Heist for my cousin's birthday in September and it was SO challenging yet fun. My group consisted of all my friends so we managed to drive each other crazy but ended up working well as a team at the same time. The room itself that you start out in is beautiful and the other rooms that you enter also are well designed and cool. I definitely want to return to do the Prison room and the 3rd room they were still finishing up at the time. A couple of us got to also spend some time chatting with the owners who were there while we waited for the rest of our group to show up and they were very friendly also which i thought was nice. All three open rooms (Jewel Heist, Space Station, Prison Break) are very intricately planned out, completely immersive, and best of all, HARD. This was our first time in an escape room. We did the Jewel Heist... four teens and two adults. There was some noise next door because they are building a new restaurant, but our host went over and got them to stop drilling for the duration of our visit. The escape room was clean, well organized and fun to play in. Our host monitored our activity and offered clues from time to time through the TV set and a chime. I loved the hidden rooms that appeared as we went along solving puzzles. We solved the Jewel Heist with just two minutes to spare. Very fun! Superb customer service! Our party was almost a whole hour late but the employees were more than accommodating and happy to help us. We were greeted by a dashing youthful boy (with the most bodacious bod and fantastic hair) who informed us that although we missed our time slot for Mayan Temple Adventure, we could do the Jewel Heist if we chose to do so. The decor in the Jewel Heist was spectacular! The owner clearly took excellent care to make every detail as realistic and immersive an experience as possible. This was my first time doing a room escape. I've done the room escape games on my phone so I had an expectation that I would be able to do this easily. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was a real challenge! I was amazed by the attention to detail and the complexity of the puzzles. Everything was not as it seemed to my pleasant surprise. I brought some friends to Red Button Escape to help me celebrate my birthday. The staff were great in helping me select the room that would be the best for our group (older people). They continued to be accommodating in giving us clues when we got stuck and were just as excited as we were when we solved the Jewel Escape with 4 minutes and 23 seconds to spare. No one in our group had ever done an escape room before, and everyone said it was one of the best birthday events they had been to in a long time. I brought my husband and son to try out these escape rooms and we had a great time! We did Space Station which was super fun and then we came back and did Jewel Heist and it was amazing! They are both very creative and had great puzzles. How do they think up these things? Can't wait to come back and try the other two and want to bring some friends. We recently used Red Button Escape Room with our 11 year old youth travel hockey team. We did this as a team building event for the team. The staff at Red Button was very accommodating with us to ensure all the boys could experience the escape room together. We were very happy with the entire staff. The boys could not stop talking about how much fun they had and when we were taking them back. The parents were equally impressed with the décor and cleanliness of the entire establishment. i LOVE this place!!!!when I go with my friends and family we always have an amazing time!!! The place is very nice and the rooms are designed so well. Each place fits the theme and are designed very according. all of the clues and riddles are prefect for puzzling and confusing your family but not to hard to not escape. This was my first time taking part in an escape room. There were four of us in our party and they…read moregrouped us with four others. They told us to be there at 7:45pm for our 8pm reservation. They were running behind and we didn't start until 8:50pm! That was annoying considering how adamant they were in their emails saying to come early so they could prepare us for our 8pm start time. You wait in a separate room. They had fresh popped popcorn which was nice. When they are ready for you they have you move to another room. Both waiting areas are nicely decorated. This is when the owner explains the process. He then escorts you to the room and your time begins. Throughout the adventure he talks to you over a walkie talkie and offers advice. He said he develops all the clues himself. The owner and his sister were nice. You need to book in advance because he does get booked. There is parking in the attached lot, however, some spaces are reserved for the church next door. Overall, it was a fun time. Make sure you get a groupon to save money. The others in our group had done 8 other escape rooms and said this one was just "Okay". Since I haven't done it before, I have no comparison.

He came over and made sure everything was okay, provided an ice pack, and was very comforting and attentive. That level of care really stood out to me. The facility itself was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This location did seem a little less busier than the location in Davie however, towards the end of the day, it does pick up a little bit. I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. Just note that socks are required and need to be purchased, and jumping is charged by the hour. Some attractions like the zip line and arcade games come with additional fees. I really appreciated the designated area for kids under five it's a safe space where little ones can play without worrying about bigger kids.

The room wasn't ready when we showed up to decorate. Party plans were made ahead of time, including food purchases, but over half of the stuff we ordered never was made/failed to show up. Waivers were submitted online beforehand by a large number of our guests, but they insist they didn't receive any of them, so everybody had to fill and submit them again (taking away from their play time, which is timed). We had younger kids at the party (10 and under), so we asked to have the pizzas double-cut, into smaller slices... but they refused, and we had to run down the street into the Dollar Tree to get a pizza cutter, to then double cut it ourselves. We ran out of pitchered drinks multiple times, and I had to bring the pitchers back to get refilled, as they pretty much never/barely checked up on us throughout the party. It would have been cheaper and more sensible to go to eat elsewhere either after or beforehand... Maybe just pay regular admission and try bringing a cake, if they'll let you in with it. Having the parents buy their Groupon offer, and then reimbursing them, would have made more sense for a party and saving money.

The owner was a delight and she was there at all stages helping the party mechanisms move (NOT her job, but obviously just super invested in making these experiences excellent). I was especially impressed that she offered hand sanitizer and wipes to make sure the kiddos were ready at all times to keep the space pristine. The number of activity zones was also incredible - so many nicely sized spaces with different types of activities and a calming room when kiddos need to take a break. Gigantic party room in the back! Zip line and trampoline were big hits with the kids and the grownups loved getting to chat while the kids went nuts exploring! We were super fans and will be back - thank you!
